Well, I was playing MML/2 a few days ago and for some reason the music is stuck in my head. So I was wondering is there a place where I could find MML sheet music(for piano, violin, or flute)? I can kinda play the Flutter music from MML on the flute, but I don't think I'm playing it in the right key. Any ideas?

Woe are we!
I would just die for some Legends sheet music too. Unfortunately, no official book was ever put out, as some popular games have. There are video game fan sites which have tabs (for guitar), but even fewer with sheet music and those that have such a thing are usually pretty slim on material. Trying to figure out tunes BY EAR is a talent that not an abundance of people have, nevermind people who are interested in video game music NEVERMIND people who are interested in Legends!
However, there is a way you just MIGHT be able to get some sheet music... If you use a program for creating MIDI files in a standard sheet music format, you might be able to open up some Legends songs and see how the composer wrote it. Noteworthy Composer is one program I remember, but I think it's a pay-for program these days. Also, MIDI files are an artist's representation of the song, not necessarily the way it actually is.
So good luck!

Ok, what I do is I download the MIDI for whatever song. Then I upload it to a program and copy down the notes in another. FL Studio being the program I upload it to and then Power Tab Editor being the program I copy the notes to. I have some songs already in there.
Train Battle Glyde's Theme (MML2) Feeling Love (MML) Bonne Seige Main Gate
If you want, I could do the same with the Flutter's theme and send you an HTML link to view the sheet music for it...or something.

Playing by ear is hard...but I think I've got most of the Bonne theme by ear on the flute. That's 2 songs I'm still trying to look on the net and see if I have any luck finding legends music, but no luck yet!If you want, I could do the same with the Flutter's theme and send you an HTML link to view the sheet music for it...or something. If it isn't any trouble, I would love to see if I am playing that song right. If you could do that...you would be my new best friend XP
Modify: Hey, I was on Ebay and I found a Legends soundtrack? This is what it says "Here is the soundtrack to the Japanese Capcom video game Rockman Dash (known as Megaman Legends here in the states).
The disc was released in 1998 by CAPCOM Co., Ltd. and Suleputer.
The majority of the music on this disc is Makoto Tomozawa (Resident Evil, Dino Crisis). However there are two pop vocal tracks (#1 and #40) composed by Fukada Taro with vocals by Morishita Reika."
It isn't sheet music, but it would help learning by ear faster(listning to the CD instead of turning on the Ps2 XP). Too bad I'm already pushing my luck trying to get my parents to buy me something else off Ebay. Oh, I guess putting a link would be a good idea. cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=187&item=8200040859&rd=1

Hmm, you don't need sheet music when you got a guy like me around xD I learn a lot of things by ear ("We are the Bonne Brothers" for example, which is in the key of Cmaj I believe). Either way, I can try the Flutter's Theme. I tried it before and...it didn't go so well. But ya know what they say, if at first you don't succeed...give up for a little bit, then try again later. ^^ Edit: And I finished writing out the main melody in less than like...30 minutes. xD Keep in mind that it's swung, so if you know anything about playing Jazz, you'll do fine ^^ That or just listen and play with the song, which ever one. By the way, I was using one of the MIDI's hosted on this site. So if it's wrong from the original, let me know.

That's so cool. Thanks so much! It seems I was playing it right. I knew it was b flat! I feel so proud. BUT I did do one and a half bars wrong. On the 3rd bar, I would always play a d instead on an f(on the triplet), and then on the 4th bar I would play a D, C, then b flat. Oh, I was close enough. I didn't know it was two C's >_> <_< Thanks again! *makes you my new best friend* XP
Is it in C major, or F major? Since B is always flat I thought it was F.

It's Fmaj because of the Bb. ^^
If you need any more songs written out, let me know. I was going to try and write out the Bass part and the piano chords...but what can I say, I'm lazy xD

Would it be possible to write out the ending songs for Legends 1/2? Or would that be asking for too much? I can get the ending of Legends 2 on the piano(well, most of it anyway). I couldn't focus on the Melody for the ending song in Legends 1 because when they randomly say things is throws me off XD

Or the entire score for both...chances are I could do the entire score for 1. I've never listened to all of the second one cause it sounded slow and I didn't like it ^^"

What would the entire score have? Other than the melody, I mean. *is lost*

Uh...everything else besides the melody? In my terms, melody = lead part. So basically, everything that's not a lead part would be added. But if you just want the lead, then I can do that xD

I guess all I need is the melody. I wouldn't want you using up all your time doing the whole score XP

Re: Flutter Theme - Ooh, that's sweet, and tabs are handy too, just because I'm so out of practice at reading music on guitar... Thanks a lot, Dash.

Tron: Alrighty then, I'm over at a friends house until Sunday-ish. So I'll get you the melody when I get home.
Feldinaut: Heh, no problem. I'm just a musical genius that's bored xD

That's pretty sweet! I mean, not that I can play any instruments or read sheet music but still, it's cool to see!
So if I'm undertanding this correctly, Dash Myoku, you can do this for any piece of Legends music that has an existing midi? That could be an awesome thing to have on the site, but then that is asking a lot. XP
