So with Chiz taking it upon himself to handle both the teaser/previews and the reveal, I got to take it easy this year. But still, didn't want to take too long in getting the official gallery up on the site. Here it is!avianbeauty98 Looks like the secret's out! My favorite panel is definitely the officer in the dark surrounded by reaverbots--it's the perfect visual to accompany and contradict the Inspector's confident claims. XD Thanks so much for fulfilling my request! MegaTuga I usually try to find some way to interpret prompts a little differently than intended but this time the moment I saw which one I'd been assigned, the whole sequence started playing out in my mind and I went for it head on. Very glad you approve of the finished product. XD Thanks to all for the comments on my piece. I really didn't anticipate making something so elaborate, especially since I didn't get started till the 19th. As such, the low-poly approach was not only my stab at a new style ( Santa Melty's infernal challenge to all participants) but a way to try and save some time. I ended up happy with the look of it though, and am glad it's been well-received by you all. Weird comic strips featuring the Loath Birdbot? Absolutely! XD Great job to everyone who took part for creating a solid lineup of new Legends art! All in all, I think this year's batch may be the most consistent ever. None of them jump out at me as superior or inferior in terms of great concepts and quality execution. I've tried picking a favorite and really can't. It's all good stuff!

Great artwork all around everyone! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas as well! HF - Tiesel's eyes look like they're about to shoot some lasers! Too bad he doesn't want a complete collection it seems. UltraViolet64 - This one gave me a good laugh. This may have been the one request I was really curious to see what would come from it, good job! MegaTuga - Who can deny how good pancakes and jam taste? I like the animation, stinks that it sounded like a rough time. ravenf6 - I wasn't sure what to expect from my request but it really exceeded my expectations! The imagery of Trigger coming just in time to rescue Barrett is something I'd love to see in video game format someday. I agree with Dashe in that this would be a cool comic! Thanks for the artwork! Blyka - Interesting take using the Feldynaught as a base idea. This would make for an interesting boss fight and I enjoy Megaman's unsure reaction! fAB - I'm with everyone else on how great this turned out! The ecstatic birdbot gave me some good laughs! Handlebar-Orion X. - I love this one in that it's set realistically. I could see something like this happening between my fiance and her younger sister! Space Apollo - yeah all of that money just goes straight to Roll. Too bad Megaman gets the short end of the stick with the stuff. Maybe it's time Roll found a part time job somewhere. Dashe - I love this one. It's a cute little scene and the puppy reminds me of when I got mine, a cute little guy that just wants to be loved! Santa Melty - Aero looks so mischievous in this it's great! avianbeauty98 - Poor officer, I do like that the KTOX police force is stepping up their game though. As for my piece: first of all I'm really glad you enjoyed my piece for you this year! After seeing everyone mention it, Data does look like a 5 Night's character. And yeah this is my first time trying to make an animation. I really enjoyed working on this piece even though I started it pretty late this year. I was initially going to use my sketchbook and recreate the scenes on each page but when I couldn't find that I turned to gimp. I started by making the black background so that it would be easier to create Barrett. As my first frame progressed forward, I decided to leave the black background and make it an outdoors market of sorts. But I ended up really enjoying the effects that the airbrush left on the background. It didn't turn out fuzzy like I thought it would and, in my mind, left a faux chalk like look to it which I thought looked unique. So I started each of the three sections with a base image, I would save that image then create individual frames after that, all the while going back to the base image so that I wouldn't have to recreate everything. All in all it was something new that I had never done before and it turned out better than I imagined. Sorry for the low res at a larger size. I made the pics 500 x 500 pixels thinking it would be a decent size for the front page. Oh well, next time I use gimp for a secret santa I'll up the pixels. Good year all around everyone!!!

@hf I like how Tiesel just looks completely confused his present. Just like "who the hell is this?" From experience I know what it's like when you receive a gift your folks assume you'd like. @minomanx That's a dramatic sneeze.H honestly I've grown to not mind the dab. It's more tolerable than the running mam challenge which isn't even the running man MegaTuga That's the tamest big belly Tron Bonne drawing I've ever seen. All the others were drawn for fetishism and trolling. None I've really wanted to find but they're there whenever I Google Tron Bonne. ravenf6 Pretty decent detail for just colored pencil and marker. This might be your best yet! Blyka Gustaf Gustaf Gustaf I made you out of iron. You're basically just scraps perhaps I should retire. @fab Easily the best animation of the bunch. Great timimg, and I like the aesthetic. Just using those old PS1 models in a modern engine like Unreal kinda gives them a certain charm like a wooden doll animation. Perhaps I should try my hand at Rankin Bass style animation one of these years but in CG on a free software like Blender or something. Space Apollo So some reaverbot finally found out how to break Mega Man's armor eh? Wait. There's flesh under there? How is his bicep not atrophied after being crushed under all that metal? Dashe I like how Tron is just like "ah ha ha no." That run in with paprika has her turned off from dogs forever. Also why does she look like the bastard daughter of Weird All Yankovich and Sarah Silverman? Just a little around the chin. Dragge Where did that Servbot learn how to topeƩ suicida like that? Just out of the blue a spontaneous dive at the store. Also Data looks possessed. Perhaps he has been a secret reaverbot all along. @bbqmastermelty I don't think Aero knows that Glyde only has eyes for Tron. And himself. Also doesn't she have Barrett? Maybe they broke up. avianbeauty98 I love how the first panel is just a blank text box. Just the reporter lady standing blankly with closed eyes in awkward silence. As for my own, I figured I haven't made any secret Santa art with the master system ladies yet and I am a big Guns fan, Plus I needed to squeeze in a little Christmas because it's the holiday season and we need a little Christmas right this very minute.

HF How could Teisel not be impressed with such a shiny forehead? Besides, it saves him money in completing his "characters remade into Rockman.EXE" collection. UltraViolet64 Good to see that you've been improving on drawing Tron. Nice detail of inside the Gesellschaft, by the way. MegaTuga Well, I wasn't expecting to see an animated GIF of stuffed-up Tron burping in my lifetime. The internet is a wonderful place. ravenf6 I like how you drew Barrett here. Blyka Tron's attempt at countering Rock's circlestrafing was... interesting, to say the least. fAB dangit fAB, you overachiever. Handlebar-Orion X. I like Yuna's sweater. Very... fitting. Space Apollo No animation, weak-ass coloring. 4/10 try better next time Dashe Aww, Teisel only wants a puppy! I love how tiny it is compared to him. (I am immensely pleased with this.) Dragge That Servbot must really like those oranges. Santa Melty Hah! I am completely okay with seeing Glyde getting trolled. avianbeauty98 That is an interesting interpretation of the prompt.

Handlebar-Orion X.: I put a lot of work and care into mine. I'd appreciate it if you didn't demean it with a word like decent. Space Apollo: Thank you. Once he started taking shape, the rest of the work followed as it did. HF: With all the time Volnutt's spent on Elysium, he's likely picked the place clean of any tangible treasure (That in itself would make a funny in-game accomplishment: "Save some for the rest of us!" - found and opened every treasure chest XD ) , already. Though I doubt he knows Elysium like the back of his hand. Dragge: I'm happy you liked it- I wasn't sure what to do until I started watching the old GMOTM let's play streams- then things fell into place.

Great turnout this year, everyone! I'm gonna refrain from the usual comment on each piece due to both lack of time and lack of constructive opinions on everything, but it was definitely a fun year with some very entertaining entries. Quite happy with what Blyka gave me for Robanukah. Thanks, paisano. [...] Not at all what I was expecting but in the best possible way. The Dreidelnaught is too perfect. I want Mega Man Legends: Hanukkah Edition now. You're most welcome! I think I have a tendency to twist prompts pretty far sometimes, so I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it regardless. And thanks everyone for your comments on my piece. I've never had a harder time deciding on a concept/medium before, so I'm glad my efforts paid off in providing some laughs and giggles. Nothing much of interest behind the scenes on this one; free-hand mouse drawing as I really didn't have the necessary skills to pull off my more ambitious ideas in style and animation. Though I should mention that the Feldynaught reference wasn't intended from the start, and didn't occur to me until I started coloring and decided to use its palette for fun. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
As an aside... someone has to give Santa Melty some crap for that ninja-signup. Here I was disappointed that he didn't make it when signups closed, only to see his name on the list despite him not having been on the forums since May, I believe it was. Smooth, Master Melty. Smooth.

Here I was disappointed that he didn't make it when signups closed, only to see his name on the list despite him not having been on the forums since May He belly-ached to me on Discord about having to open his browser...and then type in the address to the forum...and then find the Secret Santa thread...and then post...and it was so late at night, and he was tired, and some shenanigans about timezones and cultural differences and indigestion and a hangnail or something... I let him ninja-register because I was under duress. It couldn't be helped.
