After I said the same thing on Twitter I feel like saying it here (also I haven't posted in the forums in EVER)
To everybody in the US, even if you don't like either candidate (I understand your reasons too) Please go vote. I'm always saddened when people don't vote because they don't support anyone, when just going and leaving it blank leaves a much better message than quitting or fooling around in the elections. I don't know why I'm saying this, but I feel that right now the US elections have become a thing of worldwide worry.

I don't think America is going to like how this will turn out, but we'll see. I guess I just don't get people at all.

I don't get why you're throwing away free posts in your post count by adding this to Mumbo-Jumbo instead of the subforum we made for this exact purpose. It makes as much sense as the election results.

I think overall, things are going to be alright. This election was definitely one for the books in its badness though, that's for sure.

We are Americans. We have a duty to pass this country on to the generations after us. What is it we need to do to achieve a world where our children can live in peace? Take each other's hands in friendship? Or fight and squabble over the right of supremacy? I believe this election has shown us that Americans are dissatisfied with the way politics as usual have worked, and in our fury and confusion we have elected a man whose actions from this point onwards we may not yet fully understand or comprehend. I stand by my assessment, however, that the voice that has taken hold in American politics, the current people in power in our Congress and Executive offices, is not the voice we need, and while I disagree with the methods of their insertion into these roles, I am duty-bound as an American citizen to voice my criticism of the processes they operate by, as is also my right. I personally hold that if Americans did indeed seek the change they wish, we would have a lot more Democrats or third-party candidates in key positions in Congress, and that we would take steps to eliminate the hard lines of money that permeate our Congressmen and Congresswomen given by their constituents and lobbyists. Nevertheless, I don't think there's room to complain about our lot in life, or despair over events that are hyperbolic and not going to happen. Whatever happens from this point onwards, we as Americans will be watching intently, and we have every right as written in our Constitution to voice our approval or disapproval of the actions taken by our new president-elect. We are gifted with a certain unalienable right in our country, beyond life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and that right is the right to pursue our ambitions and voice our conflicting opinions, no matter how small or insignificant that right may seem now. I think this is something we as Americans will consider from this point onwards. We are made up of two different groups of people with conflicting points of view, and this may serve as the impetus for us to lay down our grudges and disagreements and learn to compromise... even one step at a time. It may not happen all at once, but we as Americans have that gift and right to see this decision on through the next four years. I think the most wonderful thing about we as humans, not just as Americans, is our ability to voice and learn about conflicting opinions and cultures, and ways of life that differ from our own. That's kind of why I love Pokemon games so much, because they have the same meaning and message. First, we learn about the ways of life that may conflict with our own, and then we learn to find ways to live alongside each other. I don't think this has impacted our capabilities as humans to do just that in the slightest, not at all. We will persevere. We are strong. We will survive this. We always have. Do not give into the depths of despair, as tomorrow the sun will shine bright in the sky, the moon will envelop us in its radiance, and the stars will keep on sparkling. Such is life in our world. Also, a nice cup of coffee helps.

I don't know why I'm saying this, but I feel that right now the US elections have become a thing of worldwide worry. I agree with MegaTuga here! Here in the nordic land Norway, people are scared of the US election... about what trump would do with the connection between norway and america and so... it would be disaterous if he stops this connection... then russia would start war or something like that... since russia wants our oil at the norwigean coast.. although i don`t think trump will do anything really bad... i heard he and Vladimir Putin actually plans to make peace.... so the world (mostly the americans) should just sit back and see how this turns out.... good luck too all off you americans!

I don't know. I lost a lot of respect for people on this one but even more in the political process itself. It was rigged... just by the other party thanks to gerrymandering and voter suppression tactics.
