Someone has told me it would be frowned upon, but would anyone be down for a re-imagining of MegaMan Legends? Or perhaps, a campaign where we go after the Flame of Creation in honor of MegaMan Legends 3?  |

Really, the only thing that's frowned upon is when you have OCs that don't fit and you get overly-attached to them to the point where you're shoehorning them in and trying to build them up as really, really important. It shows when that happens, and most of us can tell when someone comes in way too attached to their own OC. Or if you've never actually played Mega Man Legends. At one point a guy came in with a lizardman. And used it multiple times.
MMLS just really doesn't like OCs right now and doesn't have enough people where there aren't enough characters for a No-OC campaign to be ineffective.

The last part of that last statement seems like a double or triple negative. Either way, if we're talking about campaign ideas, I might have one or two concepts laying around somewhere that I can share. However, I don't think it would matter anyways. Thing is, nothing in this subforum really takes off anymore because of disinterest, trust issues, and inactivity, among other things. And whatever actually did get off the ground has crashed back to it shortly after. It just seems that the Station has entirely lost its spark for roleplaying after so many disappointments, and I'm honestly surprised we're still keeping this essentially dead and despised section here in spite of that fact.

We haven't lost any spark for roleplaying; we just want to play canon characters without having to worry about OC management. If anyone's going to lose any spark, it'd be from the negativity you keep spreading around about roleplaying here, Bowen. There is really no need to keep saying how unenthusiastic we are about this place and sending me depressingly consistent PMs asking to shut the whole subforum down, because that sure isn't going to do anything for morale.
