Anyone ever play with a gameshark and walk through walls or gain "super jump"? If so, you may have spoken to characters who are usually unreachable.
For example: Clerks behind a counter or the servbot atop the warehouse in Old City.
I just think it's cool that the developers gave these characters dialogue even though they were made to be unreachable. Some characters will even say, "How did you get here??".
Also, it is possible to go inside the warehouse in Old City before the boss fight. Cheat and walk through the fence, then "click" on the warehouse door. Doing so will place you inside a small and boring warehouse with boxes, and no way to exit. Just another thing the developers created when they did not have to.
I love when games do things like this. I've always enjoyed exploring places I wasn't supposed to after beating a game. Do you think they expected people to use cheats?

I remember I once reached the girl on the rooftop in MML1, but I don't remember if it's possible normally. I think game developers get ideas for Easter eggs as they're working normally but are getting a little stressed. My favorite Easter eggs are the ones you find going out of bounds, you can find pictures of the developers hiding inside a house that's normally unreachable (I believe one Ratchet and Clank game did this) or you get to find non used items placed there as in Resident Evil 4

I remember my first time playing Legends on the n64 version and for some reason I couldn't understand that I had to take the refractor to the boat shop (then again the game itself doesn't tell you that, nor does it tell that you have to interact with the boat) so I used cheats to fast-forward the gameplay. What happened next was that doing so, I acquired the Drill Arm early, meaning that I could get out of Closer Woods without doing an air battle with the Bonnes. Then, after beating Juno something weird happened: I spawned in the same room I beat him. I was annoyed but sure enough I got out. And then the whole city was congratulating me, I could still go to all the ruins and so. One of the bonus things was going trough the bank's back door and scaring the people inside, for example.

Jump Springs are often required though. We've come to call her "Climbs-On-Top-of-Things Girl." As for accessing odd areas, I think it's neat that with some drill-arm digging, it's possible to exit the underground through the Clozur Woods Exit while Roll isn't there after the Bonnes have dug it up. They literally spent all of that work for nothing; imagine what it looked like before they dug it up! Naturally there's no choice but to drop into the pit or turn around and go back inside.

I bet there is a way to go to those woods early too.

Isn't it awesome that the developers created dialogue for such events? In most other games, the whole game would freeze or something.

I really can't remember, I used Project64's cheats while emulating the game to give me all items. And the whole thing I described happened. (this also meant that you got the red refractor before you even could so no talking to Roll or the game crashes.)
The door was only accessible after the "endgame" when I beat the final boss. There was no cutscene, no "say good bye to everyone" the game continued playing by itself and everybody had lines for when the giant monolith fell from the sky.

Yea, I really enjoy doing that sort of thing in games
