Awesome Glitch You Probably Don't Know About

This is a floating glitch.

I found this way back when the game first came out and I had some fun with it. I haven't seen anything online about it so I assume nobody knows it.

Okay, so you have to be in an area where there are trashcans and you are allowed to shoot. That just so happens to be the area north of City Hall.

Equip the Active Buster. Go to the area north of City Hall. Find a trashcan, stand on the outermost edge of it, aim down and shoot the trashcan. If you do it right, you should be floating at the height of the now destroyed trash can.

You can jump to higher elevations and stay at that height. There are lots of ways to use this glitch. You can get out of the map, or you can find a way into other areas without resetting the physics. Sometimes it resets, sometimes it doesn't. I've gotten into Old City, Uptown and even the top of the dig site before. It kept me busy as a kid who had never heard of a gameshark in the late 90's.

Ah yes, I remember doing this. I couldn't keep it for long because I didn't find enough entertainment out of the glitch to keep walking in air, maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

I remember I air walked to the first area where the flutter is and dropped inside the forest out of bounds, I don't remember how I did it though.

I didn't know about that glitch. Does it also work on the N64 version?

Oh yeah I remember that! I think I used the jetskates on the top fin on the flutter (yes you can stand there, just very carefully).

To go out of the map, you simply walk above a cave-like opening.
