Hey guys!
Recently I've been trying extract the contents of Mega Man Legends ISO. Well , I managed to extract the files , but I was only wanting the game dialogs. Then I noticed that they were among the files . xa,so I searched for a way to try to convert them to . wav or a similar format. After two weeks doing it, I have not had success. And well, I was in desperate need to convert the files to a fan game I'm developing. So I ask for you, how can I convert the files .xa? If you help me I will be very grateful

jPSXdec is the magic tool to use - not only will it properly extract the file from the disc (which is a bit more involved than simply copying a file), but will convert the items to individual .WAV files.
The trick is, however, the utility best works with either an original disc, or a clean, first generation .ISO from an original disc; conversions between ISO formats, sloppy rips, rips from bootleg copies, and uncommon formats will often yield errors (usually because of software assumptions that the data is just like a normal, PC-targeted data disc and that things like the disc ToC, subchannel data, and error correction data is not that crucial in digital copies). If you're having problems with the software, it may be that your copy of the game is faulty and the disc needs to be cleaned/resurfaced.
