I just hope it's better than the Ruby-Spears thing. I hated that show growing up.

Ugh.
Yeah, I remember the Ruby Spear cartoon. I mean, it has its own charm, but I tried watching a few episode a year back and the whole package hasn't aged well. Just listening to the opening theme reminds me of those...days.

I think it'll be interesting to see how this turns out. I thought Ben 10 was decent, so Megaman done in that style could easily work.
I actually find the Ruby-Spears cartoon to be extremely amusing. It's bad, quality-wise, but it's so cheesy that it makes for a great watch in terms of comedy. I love how corny the one-liners are as a whole.

Let's see. One liner's that were common with late 80s to early 90s cartoons?
1. Wanna go for a spin? (Used mostly against mummies) 2. You look thirsty! (Before you kick someone into the water) 3. Time to turn up the heat! (Think fire) 4. Chill out! (Freezing someone) 5. That was a close shave! (Must involve near death sword or razor experience) 6. Going down? (Kick someone off a cliff) 7. You're in the palm of my hand! (Sometimes used in the literal sense.)

Just have to wait and see how this show turns out, this just might be the thing that gets us new games but they would probably be based off the show. Could be a good or bad thing for the series.

If that show actually makes me care about these characters, a game based off of it might not be a bad thing at all. As the series stands now, it's pretty bland and most of its appeal lies with people in their twenties and thirties who grew up on it. I remember Jeremy Parish comparing it to the Grateful Dead once. "(Classic Mega Man) commands a relatively small but ferociously loyal cult following, rakes in millions each year with a steady stream of low-key releases, and has completely failed to move with the times. This predictable consistency is why his fans love him, and why no one else cares." But if the show's anything like the Archie comics and they make a game based on the show, that would be pretty awesome.

It's being done by the same people that did the multiple Ben 10 series, Generator Rex, and that not-so good Ultimate Spider-Man one.
