Available to humans everywhere for the low, low price of free. Snag your copy here! I'm still trying to get it to work with my USB controller...but yeah, it's finally done.

Okay then. I'll go and download this now to play later. It's like all the games I want to play are coming out around the same time now!

Both download links are getting too much traffic. Holy. Crap. Error messages

Hah! That's the second time a Mega Man Legends thing has had technical difficulties due to too much traffic in one week! Eat that criteria!

Guess I'm lucky, I actually downloaded it 1 hour ago from the Japanese site with no trouble at all. The game's really cool, and hard...

Yeah, about 5 hours after I had tried and got error messages on both sites, I was able to smoothly download it from the JP site.

I finally booted it up yesterday and I can't even get through the first stage on this. There are a bunch of spelling mistakes everywhere, and I keep dying on the second boss--that missile-spewing white Reaverbot with the shielded core. The one after the ladder, where you go down, roll past a Sharukurusu, and have to fight it uphill.
I guess it's progress from yesterday. Yesterday I couldn't even take out the first White Missile Thing and couldn't tell what my special weapon gauge was. I made it across the disappearing platforms to the other WMT I could potentially take out at this time, but there was a wall directly in front of that and I could get even fewer hits in on that one. Anyone else get anywhere after downloading?

I think I beat it like two days ago, it seems there's only three levels: the second is the one I enjoyed the most since is a motorhorse battle against a certain police girl who should not be on Kickeland island, and the third level is the water ruin and the battle against Donner Wells.
I tried the mini game mode, but unfortunately it seems unplayable due to Barret being stuck on the ground, anyone else has this problem?

Weird. I have no issues whatsoever.
Anyway, I played it a couple days ago but it took me all the continues just to get to level 4 and The Reaverbots were so durable that I couldn't proceed further.
I have to say that I absolutely loved the soundtrack, several tracks were based on the musics from TMOTB's commercial and ending in the JP version (I think), as well as the JP ending from MML1. I think I shed a tear in the whole cutscene after I beat Donner Wells until Level 4 on Elysium. I will see if I can bet it another day because I lost so many lives against Denise that you don't even imagine.

Anybody want to buy it for over 1K zenny? Capcom better be one of those four people watching.

Anybody want to buy it for over 1K zenny? Capcom better be one of those four people watching. Unless they're basing the future of the franchise's stability on whether someone's dumb enough to buy something they can essentially get for free at that price in the next 13 days.

Based on Capcom's bad decision to invest almost purely in beat-em-up side-scroll games lately, it really doesn't look that farfetched on their part, which is the sad truth.
*whistle*

I have a question Dashe about the fan-made 3D version DASH 3. Why would guys working on the 3D version removed Rockman and replaced with Homebrew instead. Would they really get into trouble with Capcom if they keeped Rockman on the title? I thought Capcom doesn't mind people making fan games of there products like Megman X Street Fighter for example. Developing 2D and 3D are completely different experiences. Each comes with its own issues... Also open worlds are infinitely more difficult to develop than platforming shooters... which are... essentially finished as soon as the engine works... all you need at that point is more graphics. With a full 3D open world game you have to keep developing new things to do for months after the engine 'works' As for Capcom being ok with fangames... lies and slander. There are simply 'games that aren't big enough to warrant our legal attention' and 'games that are' If a project is too ambitious to succeed, it gets ignored. If its not ambitious enough to really be cared about by people, it gets ignored. If its vastly different from the original IP, it MIGHT be ignored.... If it is essentially the original IP, in the original format, and seems like its being competently developed, most companies, Capcpom included (and especially companies like Squeenix) will issue a C&D order first, and then follow up with phonecalls from the Legal Dept., etc. While I can't say why they did it, those are all prime possibilities.
