Hello friends. Thought you guys would find this interesting: www.siliconera.com/2014/05/26/adapt-japanese-game-english-voiceovers/#opoo3wWrg2HbVv1z.99Danni Hunt is the owner of Cup Of Tea Productions. She confirmed her studio recorded a GOOD amount of voice work for MML3. Cup of Tea typically dub XSeed projects. Now that we got the studio... think we can start locating voice actors? Find out who worked on the game/what there roles were. Could make for great documentation.

I think this is amazing discovery. I had no idea MML3 even reached that point in developement to have voice acting in it. I usually dislike English voices in Japanese origin games (not bashing anything but simply not for my taste) but it would be super cool to ask Cup Of Team Productions some questions about it. I wish I could help locating VA's. I went on Cup Of Tea Productions website and I send them polite email asking if I could know the names of people who voiced in game and what character did they voice.

Nice find, thanks for sharing it! If I lived closer I'd probably book some time to record a demo reel, drop in for some of that tea and ask straight up that way. Too bad that plan would require expensive plane tickets and whatever their hourly rate is. Alas, this whole emailing thing will have to suffice. It would probably be a good idea to collectively come up with some sort of draft that sounds more professional than fanboyish, too.

Oddly enough, doesn't the image of the game shown at the top of the article kinda remind you of Legends 3 in the art design department? Then again a lot of Japanese games look like that, but still. Irony.

Art design yes, but MML3 has different clothing design, at least in my opinion.

Irony. From an objective viewpoint (i.e. besides generic theme-based similarities)? Hardly. Though since you brought it up, I would not mind beating up random civilians until their clothes fall off in a cartoony fashion in MML. That way the Aqua Blaster will finally have another use!

Could anyone provide me any voice clips of Legends 3? (both Japanese and English if possible) I remember reading that voice clips existed (not sure on which language though).

Irony. Yeah, I ain't seeing it. One setting is an urban shopping district, whilst the other is rural. Oh, wait. I completely missed the point of this thread. The article says it was almost voiced completely. That's interesting, especially since they didn't specify whether it was just for the prototype, or the finished product.

My guess would be prototype because I do not think game was that far into development. Maybe I am wrong though.

I'm wondering more if this was the Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version they were talking about and not the actual game.

Welp, that email I sent off never actually yielded any results. Anybody else want to give it a go? Semi-related, MMKB has Aero's actress listed as Tara Platt, but I can't find any source besides a pretty substantial educated guess. TheJorsh ran into her at a con once, though. If anyone else finds themselves talking to her, it might not be a bad idea to try to verify.

Danni Hunt was the one who mentioned the project in the Siliconera interview. She handles the recording part. The site's here. There's a form and an info@ address. If you can find anything more direct, go for that, and definitely keep things as professional as possible.
