GOG is offering Little Big Adventure for free as part of their French store localization celebration along with several French made games at reduced pricing. You got less than 10 hours left so you better hurry.

Oh, nice! I'm assuming all of the ones on sale have a French language version too?

Yeah a majority of the games have french text and audio options, a few only have the option to turn the game text into french. Okay Humble Bundle is celebrating their 1 year anniversary by giving away Metro 2033 for free in the first 24 hours of the sale!

I snatched this game up, so glad too! I seen a great lets play of it a few years ago and it made me eager to play it. Controls are a bit tanky but it actually works well. Great game for the time that it was made.
Highly recommended the second LBA game too, which is supposedly improved over the first LBA game. I plan on buying it someday.

Not to mention, if you're willing to log in to their site every day for the next week and click a 'stamp' near the middle-bottom of the page, today included, you can earn yourself Witcher 2.

GOG must have been paying attention to all those times I've posted in the "What's the Last Game You've Beaten" thread or something. EDIT: They're doing it again. This time they have a quota of about 20,000 copies of Age of Wonders. Get it while it's up!

[GOG has] 20,000 copies of Age of Wonders. Huzzah, another GOG giveaway. Always a welcome thing.
Europe loves Simulation games. As such, The UK-based GAME has released their own seasonal simulation game, "Christmas Shopper Simulator", which is about as serious as it sounds. Of course, a Call of Duty game themed around Black Friday might be better, but 'Black Friday' means all sorts of horrible things in Europe, so it's unlikely that will happen. The game can be had for free from here.
EDIT: An Indie game called "Pitman" is available through Desura for free until about midnight tonight (December 6th, 11:59PM). To download, click "Pitman [FREE]", then "Download direct", and then your OS's package. Packages for Windows, Linux, and Mac are available. (Paging Dashe!)

Nice! I was hoping they'd come up with something actually free to snipe instead of the whole, "buy things for free bonus stuff" deal. I am not terribly fond of those because I am super cheap.

I grabbed it, thanks Chiz. I wonder what kind of game it is. Maybe I'll play it in 5 years!

It's some eastern-themed strategy thing with clans and stuff. Strategy games always take me forever. I don't think I've beaten even one!

If you guys get any of the STALKER games (not necessarily Clear Sky, its pretty meh) they are really awesome games that you should play if you are able to enhancement and bug fix mods to work.
I actually remember I got a free key for Shadow of Chernobyl from some Polish website (CDAction?) and when GOG started accepting CD keys of the STALKER games I redeemed my key and I got a free copy of Shadow of Chernobyl. The deal does not work anymore since the Polish website removed the STALKER stuff from their website.

Thanks for the heads up Chiz, I'll look through these and see if there's anything cool in there.
