That's the way I've been looking at it. My expectations haven't skyrocketed yet but I'm slightly moving toward being more hopeful. The whole Capcom being silent could have been from them working on Legends. Hopefully there's some news soon. I'm kinda curious now.

I think they might be asking for it. But, they've been asking for it for a while now, so let's watch and see what happens. Then enjoy the fireworks if it does happen along with no Legends 3. Otherwise, we can enjoy a happy fireworks show if the optimistic hunches are true. Regardless, I predict fireworks. Capcom's being either really smart or really stupid right now IMO. xD

Do any of you know where to get information on the people in charge of developing Sound Rangers? If they were Mega Man Legends 3 developers, that'd probably explain where this Legends 3 is all coming from. If not, then that'd just add to the puzzle, and not in a bad way.

After looking it up, I believe the director's name is Naoki Tarama, an unfamiliar one to me. The original name of the game itself was Otoranger, but it's still leading me to mostly dead ends in finding out just who this person is. Giant Bomb has this person listed as somebody that did character motion for a Silent Hill game of all things, but I'm not sure if that's the same person or not.

Half of me feels like this is almost insulting... it feels like it's pouring salt onto an open, gaping, fleshy wound. The other half of me is like: "Hey, they're not denying Legends' existence! That means that if I wait for another decade, something might happen!"

I've come to the conclusion that whoever makes Legends-related decisions has simply gone insane.

Hey-hey! Do my eyes deceive me, or is somebody other than Tron actually representing the Legends series? They just need to squeeze Barrett in there, and then Capcom will have played quite the interesting set of cards.

Okay, so here's the deal. Those Legends characters are only really available for four days next week in a character roulette. This is lame even by CAPCOM CROSSOVER STANDARDS. I'm not even sure what the odds are that anybody on the streets will even win them at all. Still, er, it's a thing? Anyway, here. I cleaned up the famous Roll pic and this new one of Tron on a Leopordo/Gusataff hybrid with some Servbots.

Welp! That sucks eggs. But hey, at least Tron is represented with the Feldeopordo...? ...Nah. This is just bad, regardless of the roster.

The only real annoying thing is that there really isn't a lot of time to get them. The run is insanely limited in scope. I'm glad they're using the designs, because it's definitely better than pretending Legends 3 never existed, but I'd have liked to see them more widely available. If I were living in Japan with the right kind of cell phone, I wouldn't have bought Sound Rangers earlier on, which means I'd have about a week to play as much as I can and get enough of their in-game currency so that, after probably drawing a few dozen random Capcom characters I couldn't care less about, I'd be able to snag one or both of these (or all three, but there's no official word on Aero being involved in this yet). If it were a longer gatcha-style event, or if it were four days where you could pick what you wanted to buy, I'd be less annoyed, but the odds of actually getting ahold of even one Legends character are on the verge of being like hoping for a freak blizzard in the Sudan.
Okay, yeah. Here's the deal--Aero is, as far as Protodude's concerned on Twitter, not part of the gatcha promotion. He says it's some kind of distribution gift? Yeah, I'm not sure what that is, either. Whatever it is, I cleaned up the promo image for your viewing pleasure so we can say we have a complete set. I'm also kind of bummed the guys from the Legends series got shafted, as usual, but hey, like I said, it still beats getting ignored.
Clearly someone on this dev team really likes Legends. Anyone who logs into their Sound Rangers account gets a free Type B Servbot. If anyone actually plays this maybe they could shed some light on what these characters actually do in-game. Or where the Type A Servbot might've gotten off to. That's...curious, really.

They don't look very thrilled to be there. Would it be wrong of me to assuuuuuume that Type-A Servbots at least have a more positive disposition? Regardless, 'tis awfully curious indeed they're actually willing to turn 'em into promotion material.

And there you go. Starting yesterday, Aero is available as a free gift to people who own Sound Rangers for an indeterminate amount of time. I still have no idea what these characters are supposed to do.

Is there any gameplay avalible for this game possibly showing Aero? Here we go, fresh off the presses. It's underwhelming to say the least. It looks like that exact artwork's pretty much the only asset the game uses featuring the DASH characters. I'd wager it's the same for other characters, too.
