Welcome to the Mega Man Legends Station forums! I'm Dashe, your Station Master. I've put together some helpful tips on how to make a good impression as a new user. If you're worried about whether or not you'll fit in with our community, these guidelines should ensure that you have a great time here:
-Read the Forum Rules, which have been simplified for your convenience as of October 2013. If you see a violation of the rules anywhere on the board and want to report it, use the report button or send one of the staff members a PM.-Create an introductory thread so we can give you a proper welcome! This is especially important if you've come here primarily to recruit for a Legends-themed project of yours. People tend to be more receptive to ideas when they're more familiar with the creator.
-Try and keep the same username so we can keep track of who you are. It's fine if you change it once or twice as a one-time, permanent deal, but in general, keeping the same name helps foster more of a sense of community. If you like shaking things up, try changing your avatar instead. It's much less confusing!
-Name your topics well! "Have you seen this article about Mega Man Legends?" says a lot more than something like "Have you seen...?"
-Dual-Mirror your attachments! This is especially true if you're using attachments to post creative writing or art and want to reach a large audience, or if you're posting screenshots from a game or the like. Guests can't view attachments at all, and MMLS only has a finite amount of attachment space. We probably won't reach the limit anytime soon, but if you're looking for permanent archival it's best to use another image host, like Imgur, or just copy and past your text directly into the thread itself.
If you happen to be using Chrome as your browser, there's a free extension that makes this REALLY easy.
-Don't worry, you don't actually have to fill out registration forms before you're allowed to post. That's just a long-running gag. Just jump into the conversation!
If you have any questions, feel free to shoot any of the staff members a message. The primary forum staff currently includes:
- Station Master (admin): Dashe
- Station Guardians (moderators): Chiz, Buster Cannon, and Mikéy
TLT Staff: fAB and Blyka are who you'd want to address any queries related to the Tuttle's Legendary Travels project.
For questions pertaining to the MMLS Main Site, fAB is the webmaster and the most likely person to have the answer you're looking for.
Hope you have fun here!
