TODAY IS THE END OF THE LINE! It's the first Saturday of August, and it's most definitely time to hand in projects! Projects can be handed in anytime today, and I'll be updating the list this afternoon and evening with entries from those who haven't yet submitted. As of writing, 3 of the 6 teams have submitted something; first was RyanLEO and Sybillian with some pixel art of MMLS' barbecue; second was fAB and Skybane_Zero with a video remaking the beginning of MML with an altered narrative, and third was Kyle , Mikéy , and CyborgWizard 's drawing of them leaving a bar. Download links to all of these can be had in the first post.

ugh, I don't have anything that can open that z8. I'm guessing it's one of those text based games where you type in your own options
Edit: nevermind I do, will now be exploring every corner

These all look really impressive! I'll be sure to check out the game when I get the opportunity.

Ugh, that formatting mess in the first post is scrambling my brain. Anyway, nice going, guys! That's because you used the preview tab. Never, ever use the preview tab, especially on my posts - it destroys any arrangement I give to the BBCode to make it look good and easily manageable.

Hey guys! So I know it's been a long time- months, yes, almost half a year even!- but we're finally ready to show y'all the fruits of our labor. The three of us- Emeltee, Pitch, and myself (aka The Blues Brothers)- have been working on this little game whenever we had the chance, and now we're finally ready to show you guys just what it is we've been up to. We hope you'll find our entry nostalgically enjoyable. C'mon and give it a go!So play it once and tell us what you think. We're sure you won't be disappointed.
For those of you having trouble with the above version, try this instead. Otherwise, download the desktop version here.

Holy crap do I suck at this. Can't beat the sea devil! Great job guys! Now I have a new obsession. This is the boss fight Legends deserves.

Hah, I knew we'd get to beat this thing up eventually! Now go submit it to SPA if you haven't already. I think I recognize the Bonne Emblem from Gesselschaft Defense, but I'm not too sure. Which elements came from where, anyway?

It's certainly not what I was expecting. It's better than anything I was expecting. I was actually working on something else with Kyle for a while during the BBQ period, but ran short on time, so I ended up jumping in on the art scheme with my failskills. Glad you guys have something awesome to show after all of this time! Nice spritework especially.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Good to know all the effort resulted in something enjoyable. There were a couple of bugs that only became apparent after the public release (as they tend to do), mostly relating to the physics. There were also a few omissions from the credits. These should be corrected now. Gets easier, trust me. We'd like to, but there're a few loose ends we ought to tie up first. There are also a couple of other neat things to come out of this project that'll get posted once said loose ends are taken care of, so do stay tuned for that. It is indeed. Good eye there. Besides the emblem, the explosion effect is also taken from GD. And of course, the MM sprites were taken from Megaman Digger. There are also a couple of sprites taken from MMX buried in there. Besides those, everything should be original. Aye. I will say, I'm pretty happy with my own contributions (mostly the boss and the waterfalls). Everyone contributed some nice stuff, though. I expect my badge in the mail.

I'm really bad at this game, but I also love these sprites. I'm not sure If i've seen a trigger sprite that good before.
