Heeeeey. You're me, Chiz. Just a little lot more reserved, is all. Good for you!
I like the cut of your jib!

Oh man, I've taken this thing several times throughout my life, and I'm in the INTJ camp as well. I'm with Dashe on being surprised that there aren't more of us here (or maybe they're just watching from the shadows). INTJ's prefer being in the background usually...In other words, most of us are likely to just skim a forum and read it rather than register or login on it right away. Observing > Talking sometimes. That's how I feel at least. Listening to me is so much more satisfying than talking. I already know what I know, and am much more interested in what other people know. This plays out in IRL situations where I'm generally marked as the "quiet one", as I choose to observe rather than engage. Of course, if you get me talking about something I'm interested in I might not shut up... Weird. They seem to be all over the non-MMLS places I frequent, especially considering it's supposed to be somewhat rare. I've always seen typing online and actually being in a room with a bunch of people as two totally different ball games. Like the difference between sending an email and calling someone. I actually like sending email better, because you can't draft a phone call and really think about what you're going to send before you send it. As a guy who likes to pre-plan everything, I definitely prefer e-mail to phone. I'll admit that you get stuff done faster over the phone, but it just isn't optimal for me. I do prefer face-to-face communication overall simply because you get the emotional side as well. Texting/e-mail can be tough because there's no real way to denote sarcasm, and I find myself sticking an "lol" after my sentences just to avoid sounding even the slightest bit harsh. My perfectionist tendencies kill me sometimes.

Alrighty, I got around to doing this, finally. Here's my nifty little badge-thingamabob. I'd say it's pretty accurate. I used to be quite the chatterbox in my early MMLS days, so that'd explain the Verbal scoring. Everything else, take as you will, I suppose.

Honestly, nothing I didn't expect, aside from "Musical."

Of course, if you get me talking about something I'm interested in I might not shut up... I'm guilty of this...as charged. "Let me dump all of this data on you." Moments. ...Thats usually followed by an awkward silence. Least in real-time chats.

And as for INTJ's gathering...thats not uncommon I think. I have a single friend who's an INTJ too. You get a unique experience when you communicate with someone of your same personality structure. So many seek for that I wouldn't doubt. I think the same could be said for other personality types, too. Oh god, the one time I ended up in the same room as another ENTJ I was like thiiiiiis close to having him kicked from the room because I kept feeling like we were competing for the power position in the conversation and he was winning. So, uh, I'm not entirely sure that all personality types are compatible with themselves. I'd be better off in a room full of INTJs, or with ENTJs that are either way ahead of my skill level at the task at hand, or way behind it, so we don't lose much time competing for control.

Or with ENFPs that are incapable of going to war with you. Actually. We need to test the effects of having two ENFPs in the same room. Somebody, quick. We need to clone me!

Another INTJ reporting in. With a score of 100% introverted. You know what I have to say about that? That's right. Nothing much really.

Just curious, but where did you take your test before? I used several sites with same results, but the one I used in my post seemed most balanced and accurate. www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.aspAt this site. I'll try to get to the one you posted some time this weekend. I kind of want to see how I stack up again. Things have changed a bit for me in the last year... although I'm guaranteed to still be an introvert.

Decided to take the test again just to see how I stacked up (and for the cool banner). Sure enough:

Looks familiar...think I've taken that one before too when I was learning about personality types. And no rush, do it in your own time.

I'm not all that surprised by the results. IS is almost always a given with my personality, and I'm in a more emotional state of mind for the Feeling to take precedence over the Thinking. I guess the Perceiving part is the only semi-interesting take off of this, but I rarely have the Judging all that high anyway, and it was a close one. Yeah, that sounds about right for me.

I decided to take this thing. *Sparkle sparkle*
I actually took the Personality type test several times over a course of some years, and I always got INFP. So I wasn't really surprised this time. XD
If anyone has any flowers or books on Plato, just drop them off in the vintage mailbox in front of my magical palace. It's the palace with the sparkles. You can't miss it; the neighbours have been complaining about it.

Well... I can't say I'm surprised by the results... but I can say I'm surprised how accurately the Jungian description of my personality Archetype is. Frighteningly accurate. Perhaps human beings can be reduced to a number after all.
