I know I already have a art thread but I figure this is quite a bit different. I've been very eagerly recreating MML1 buildings and such in Minecraft so this is where I'll share them. First, here's the Flutter I made last week. link
Next I've got a recreation of the Clozer Woods and it's Sub-gate. It's not exactly right but I think I've done the best i could. I had to artificially make the hills and such surrounding the pit under the Sub-gate made by the Marlwolfe. I didn't make the Marlwolfe but I may sometime if it seems possible. My biggest problem with what I've made is that by the time I capped these screenshots grass had grown over the dirt at the bottom of the pit. In the game it's all dirt so it irks me a bit but I'll haveto let it slide. I also made the inside roo of the Clozer Ruin. This isn't shown in game so I just made it to look how I would think it might. Clozer Outside 1
Clozer Outside 2
Clozer Inside
As for doing the full ruin, that's something I'll consider way down the line. That's a pretty big project and for now I'm sticking to superficial stuff. I really hope you guys like this and stuff I post here in the future. I have Balcon Gelde and the Lake Jyun Sug-gate almost finished and will post it soon. Alright guys I decided to make the Malt Museum from TLT in celebration of it's great success. 25 participants and 103 entries bodes well for future events! Any way I think it's about as exact as minecraft will allow me to make it. I couldn't quite make the M sign at the top and I couldn't really make the arch above the door but made something like that. And of course I didn't make any of the winning museum items because I'm in no way that skilled. The Blockman DASH texture pack does come with some of the paintings that were in the MML1 museum so I threw those in there. I hope you guys enjoy it! This all looks so awesome! Damn fine job. I can just visualize the Marlwolf moving around the sub-gate. And a sure fire way to know that a game is doing successfully is when a part of the game is made in Minecraft before the game is even released. XD

Thanks. I actually have 2 and a half other things done already but I'm streching out when I post them so there is a predictable stream of content. I'll post more in a day or two.

Y'know. I'm starting to think that building the museum out of wool was proooobably not the greatest idea, Loken. That is, of course, if you're trying to deter random strangers from punching their way through the walls. If not, then your building should be... somewhat safe.

Actually Kyle, you know-it-all, it's made out of perfectly safe and stable snow! Only the carpet on the inside is wool! I'll be adding Balcon Gelede soon.

Okay, as promised a few short minutes ago here is Balcon Gelede! Also a poor replica of the Lake Jyun Sub-gate! Balcon is not quite a 1:1 scale as I usually try to do. I figured I could do a better job if I made it bigger. You will notice that it's only a portion of the machine. That is because I thought it would be cool to make it look like it was rizing from the water. Aslo only making half of it is always easier . The Bonne Symbol is smaller than it should be and it's on a mine cart. The reason being is that Blockman Dash doesn't have many Bonne symbols around and I couldn't make an appropriate sized one from wool. The Lake Jyun Sub-gate is not quite as good looking as I'd like because Blockman Dash doesn't really have a texture that's similar to what the ruin looks like in MML. Never the less I think it's decent enough to display in my 'crap thread'. Snow?! That's even less... Tch, nevermind. At least you're being eco-friendly, for the most part.
Now that I think about it, isn't that a little short for a sub-gate? (Bonus points if you get the bad reference)

It may be a little short actually. You tell me lol. Original Lake Jyun Sub-gate
Also, the reference is the "You're a little short to be a storm trooper?" quote from Star Wars? Anywho, I have at least 2 more things to post over this next week and I'm working on a third. I'm going to aim to make 2 things a week at least.

Yup. It was indeed.
Anyways, I think your Minecraft rendition is waaaaay smaller than the original. Remember: That sub-gate needs to be able to fit a fully functional elevator in there, and still have some space left over. So, if you're not lacking in height, then you're definitely lacking in width.

Yeah I definitely see your point. It's obvious from that original sub-gate picture that mine is too small. I might revisit it after this next project I'm working on. I won't be putting in a fully functional elevator though because 1. I blow at redstone, 2. I'm going to stick to the outside of ruins for now.

Alright so I'll be showing you a minecraft thing I made a week ago today! I've completed two more projects and have 3 big things made and 3 small thing made to show you in the future. However today I'll be showing you just one thing and that is a giant Zakobon head that's hollow in the middle. Not much to say but that it's not quite up to game dimensions but I think it's pretty swell. I may make the inside into a ruin or a cool house in the future so I've included a look at the inside. Mount Zakobon 1
Mount Zakobon 2
Inside Mount Zakobon!
So now I have a proposition for you folks! I mentioned that I have 3 big things and 3 small things made already, right? So I'm going to list them here and if you guys are interested in seeing any one of them in particular go ahead and vote for 1 small thing and 1 big thing and I'll post what's in demand. I Expect only 1 or 2 votes at most (quite possibly none.) in the first place so if you vote you'll probably win and I'll make the winner's name in minecraft. You've got till saturday! Here's the choices. Big things: 1. Launch Pad From MML2 (no rocket) 2. Feldynaut 3. The Main Gate (unopened, not spectacular) Small things: 1. Spotter Car (crap) 2. Jim's Club House 3. Sub-city Entrance

My vote goes to Feldynaut and Jim's Club House.
I like Mt Zakobon, and I think that it likes that I like it. I've met a lot of mountains, but it seems like one of the happier, more easy going ones.

I'll have to double along with josh. The Feldinaut and Club House, provided they're finished with interiors, would probably be the best to show. Make sure you spruce up that Spotter's Car though. If you have to make it a bit bigger to fit in the interior, it ought to be fine. It's nice to see that you're making so many models in Minecraft too. If I had the time or attention span, I'd probably try my hand at it myself, but I lack both.

Feldynaught--that's how the Prima guide spelled it, at least. And yes, that's a vote.
Do the sub-city entrances really take that long to make? I thought they were just black boxes.

Oh yeah I thought that was how it was spelled but guess I forgot the 'gh' on it.
And yeah it's just a black box but it looks just like it at least lol. If you want complexity pick Jim's Club house. It's got the most going on in the 'small things' category. The Spotter car is not satisfactory for me but I have no idea how else to make it!
Update: Voting for this stuff ends at 5pm. I'll be posting the winners then.
