I have this policy of waiting the end of the season to watch shows so I can make a marathon and watch the whole season at once... it usually results though with having a lot of shows to watch and having to pick which ones that catches my interest.
Since current anime season ends this weekend, I have a question for you people who watched the P4 anime. Is it good? As a fan of the games, did you enjoyed it?

I totally LOVED every seconds of it. It remained faithful to the game despite some changes here and there to make it work as an anime. It's totally worth a shot if you liked the game. If you never heard of the game, I say watch the first 5 episodes to give you a good idea. If you have questions about the plot, ask someone who knows the game so he can explain whatever part you didn't get.
Though I wonder what you should do. You say you normally wait for all the episodes to come out before watching. Persona 4's true final episode (as well as the director's cut of episode 25) will only be released on the 10th DVD in August.

I'll watch it then, I was really wanting to check it out but my last experiences with game adaptations (specially Sengoku Basara) were big let downs. Considering I like P4 a lot, I was wary of watching the show and getting dissapointed again. And kinda... I don't have problems with OVA and stuff released later because they're released outside of the regular season and usually are a one-time deal (unless it's a serialized OVA).

Persona 4 The Animation was a great adaptation. I enjoyed it so much, it really did the game justice (even if it had a few differences)! I’m slightly disappointed that we have to wait until August for the true ending, but I’m hoping the OVA will have really good animation and be a decent length so it will be worth the wait.
