Be aware that Twitch is almost exclusively for games and games-related content; for things like anime stuff, you'd want to use your same account on sister site Justin.tv. (plus, you know, streaming licensed stuff may or may not get you kicked; who knows?)
That being said, I'd probably join in on anything as long as it's on a Friday or Saturday night. Just announce your intentions a day or two in advance and we'll all flock there instead of iScribble.
I've updated the table of people will streaming accounts; if-and-when they choose to actually stream something, those links are there.

RyanLEO :Mostly Sci-fi and rom-com stuff. Things like Psycho-Pass, Accel World, The pet girl of Sakurasou, etc. My anime folder contains over 80 different titles so there should be plenty of variety. Chiz :Aaah... I didn't knew. I suppose I should make an account there as well. And yes, I am slightly aware of the licenses, but I suppose that there's less chance of that happening if I stream things that are not licensed out of Japan... probably. I'm going to try to set up a stream by next week. I just done a stream test and found no problems on the broadcasting end... now let's hope that it goes well on the receiving end. I am still not sure what to stream though, but until then try to get your schedules open Friday 10th around 9PM (GMT+0).

I've got four extra days of vacation time now, so if someone would be so kind as to inform me on how to make this streaming thing work on a dual monitor (if it's even possible) I'll probably have that Christmasy Duke 3D session sometime this weekend.

Well, for Duke Nukem 3D, being one of those old FPSes from the 90s, since the original game probably doesn't run too well on modern computers, you'd be best getting a newer port of the engine, like EDuke32 (you'll need to research how to set this up on your machine). After it's setup, it's a matter of: - Limiting the game to a single screen
- Opening OBS on the 2nd screen, and either game-capturing or window-capturing the display area.
- Making sure resolution (400x300 to 640x480, assuming 4:3 monitor; 512x288 for a widescreen), video bitrate (500-700kbps), and your Twitch stream key is in OBS appropriately
- Doing a few test streams to ensure functionality
I'm on AIM all this week if you need further help, or another pair of eyes for test streams.

I've never had problems running the game on the computer I'll be using. This whole 'dubbing the music over with Mannheim Steamroller" bit is, in its entirety, actually something I do with a surprising amount of regularity for what you'd expect out of me. It's the streaming part of the equation that's probably going to be rough.
I take it you have a stable internet connection at the moment?

You might have to make the window smaller for it to work on Twitch. Broadcasting can take up a decent amount of resources.

Ha, you guys can totally add me to the first post if ya like. Haven't been streaming much, but I intend to again eventually. www.twitch.tv/sh0rtcircuitnb4, JMC and I may be doing a MML1 race at some point.

Just found something useful; if you're using Chrome, this extension helps a ton with using Twitch. Improved chat, you can actually see the emotes, and there's some other cool features. Updated Mikey's first post with this info as well.

Welp, I'm done. I think it's on the channel archives if you missed it and want proof that I suck at games and Mr. Ninja's a real person.

Is anyone streaming tomorrow? I was hoping to, yeah. Took a vote during the stream, with the general consensus being for Resident Evil 6. You up for it?

I think it's on the channel archives if you missed it Specifically right here. I'm also happy to announce that should something happen to it, I've downloaded a full copy of the stream for posterity ( posteriority?) should it need to be mirrored elsewhere at some point. ~3h40, 1.3GiB, 7-part .FLV; would repack into a single MKV before mirroring.

What I really should've done was just repeat every weird thing Handlebar typed verbatim, since people can't see the chat text I'm reacting to. Probably a good idea for reacting to the chat in general as far as showmanship goes. Ah well, practice makes perfect.
