I thought I would stat a thread where people can talk about their guilty pleasures and just bjoke around about them. To start things off right, here are some of my guilty pleasures. Oddly enough, wrestling and the band Dragonforce aren't on the list. I must confess, I didn't mind bubblegum pop all that much as a kid, and still find myself jamming out to certain hits. Christina Aguilerra and the Backstreet Boys weren't bad at all. But acts like A-Teen and N*Sync drove me up a wall and served to give the genre a bad rap. (Although I did have a month long N*Sync phase. Then I stopped eating Cap'n Crunch. I swear there's crack in it!) As you can tell by my Tobe picture attachment, I like Pucca. It was hilarious! Girly yes, but I like it too. As much as many people hate it, I like Shaddow The Hedgehog for the PS2. Sure it was laggy, and some levels were blatantly ripped from Sonic Heroes, and the multiplayer sucked rotten eggs, but I like games with a choose-your-path mode and open-worlde levels. I like Limp Bizkit and select Creed songs I'll admit it. Don't be alarmed, I'm not a douchebag like most people think Limp Bizkit fans are, I just like their music. Especialy the "Chocolate starfish in the hotdog water" album. And for fun, I like to try my hand at singing like Creed's lead singer when I sing along to the chorus of "Can you take me higher" I like certain Michael Bolton and Bee Gees songs as well. It's so cheesy, it's good. Y'know? And lastly, I kinda miss Big Bad Beetleborgs. A Saban show that's alot like Power Rangers, but starring kids. It's chinsey, but good chinse. Like all Saban shows. So if any of y'all have guilty leasures you want to share, lay 'em on me! :24: Attachments:

I have a few guilty pleasures.
I enjoy watching the Mega Man Ruby-Spears cartoon, Totally Spies, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Pokemon anime. Many people despise those series, but I do enjoy watching them regardless.

Heeey, I happen to love N*SYNC and the A Teens! But that's not a guilty pleasure, since I don't feel at all guilty about finding pleasure in cheap teen bubblegum pop from the turn of the millennium. It's not like everyone doesn't know and begrudgingly accept my tastes in music here anyway. For real qualifying guilty pleasure activities, I drink vegetable-flavored V8 straight out of the container. None of that fruity V8 Splash nonsense. I like my vegetable puree best when it isn't pretending to be fruit juice or anything passive-aggressive like that. And on top of that I think the low sodium version tastes better. I also love wearing ties (properly) and want to buy an ascot. But still, most of you probably know about that, too.

I am bisexual, love cartoon characters, a fan of Homestuck, loves listening to reviews of bad fanfiction, likes Japanese stuff, and whatever a name I can find, and I have a self-name crisis (I'm still sticking with Sonata though)

I have another guilty pleasure I must confess, I love early-mid 90's techno pop. Haddaway, Ace of Base, The Real McCoy, (That being my favorite early 90's techno group,) even Right Said Fred, I loved them all. I also realy enjoy Savage Garden.

I listen to Death Cab, Dashboard Confessional, The Fray, Jack's Mannequin, Jimmy Buffett, Postal Service, and various JRock such as the pillows, Gackt, L-Arc-en-Ciel, Mucc, and Asian Kung Fu Generation. In addition, I love music from OCRemix and soundtracks to video games. I prefer 'kiddie' video games to hardcore shooters and stuff. I obsess over Homestuck. I like looking in the mirror at my own reflection. Sonic Adventure 2 was one of my favorite Sonic games of all time. Oh, and R3D CH4LK.

I admit to liking bubblegum pop, as well. My favorite bubblegum pop/twee band is "The Smittens," because apparently liking bubblegum pop isn't enough for me, I also have to be a hipster about it.
I also like hip-hop. But then again, I think anyone who played the Jet Set Radio games and enjoyed them will begrudgingly admit to liking hip-hop, as well.
I read too many fanfics, and I also prefer most "kiddy" games over hardcore games, with a few exceptions.
Also, Ambush Bug is my favorite DC "hero."

I also must confess to liking gratuitously perverted manga such as Bastard!, Dears, Battle Club and Battle Vixen. I barely even read them, I just skip ahead to the gratuity.
One thing I don't feel guilty of, is liking r&b boy bands and r&b girl bands. I find that the more obscure they are, the more I like them. Take for instance, T.O.K.
Beleve it or not, there's a wrestler out in Japan named Fujita "J.r." Hayato who comes out to this.

I find it hard to define guilty pleasures, so I'm not even sure if this would qualify as one, but I really, really like tic tacs. I like them so much I always have some in my jean pockets (just loose ones). I always try to wear an outfit that has a pocket, whether it be a cardigan, shirt, pants, etc, because I need to have tic tacs, even in a situation where I don't have my purse. If you look hard enough, you'll find random tic tacs around my house. And I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I've eaten some after they were on the floor for more than a week. I was desperate, but they still tasted so good...
I think liking Twilight would be a better example. I wouldn't consider myself anything more than a casual fan, I was entertained by the books and graphic novel, though. *shrugs*
Also I wish they continued making the Land Before Time movies. I have 13 of them, and I want more!

Is playing one full game of Monopoly with the official rules (They take 1 to 3 hours approximately) almost every day considered a guilty pleasure?
EDIT: I'm not sure if this is a guilty pleasure: I LOVE watching Youtube Poop's!
EDIT 2: Does it count that I still watch re-runs of Friends and old episodes of The Simpsons everyday? (Considering I have watched every episode already at least 5 times, if not 50.)

For instance, I'm not ashamed at liking wrestling, powermetal, select hip hop songs/artists, (the least triflin' stuff,) or mid-late 90's stuff, but I am guilty of liking Guy Fieri's shows on the Food Network. Almost nothing he cooks is khosher, but he is quite entertaining.

Then I don't have any guilty pleasures at all. (That I can think of.)
I'm more honest than anyone should be, so it's weird for me not to admit something that is true.

Suck on that Chiz, Micheal Bolton is the man! Hmm, guilty pleasures huh? That's hard because I have no shame . I would say that I love watching kids shows, but you see, that's a popular thing to do. I eat pickles and lemons by themselves! I love infomercials. I will watch ANYTHING to the end if it has some mystery in it. You know, I'll just say Micheal Bolton is my guilty pleasure and leave it at that.

I hate Captain Falcon. There, I said it. That's more of a non-guilty discomfort that a guilty pleasure, but I agree. This might sound contreversial to some, but I feel that Hanna Barbara is overrated to a certain degree. Although Johnny Quest is one of my favorite shows. I have to confess another guilty pleasure, deathmetal covers of extremely non-metal songs, and metal songs screwed up by other incredibly non-metal styles. But I guess y'all may have known that by the stuff I posted in the Random Talk about nothing thread.
