The new format of the Main Gate is wonderful...but there's something I noticed - there's no direct link back to the main Legends Station website...I would have thought there would be one, but the only way you can get from The Main Gate > Legends Station via links, it going into the forums, then scrolling to the bottom and clicking the "Legends Station" affiliate button... You think at the bottom of the page on The Main Gate a link could be put directing people back to the main site?

I seem to remember that there has never been a link back button. (Could be wrong, though.) Much in the same way TMG updates aren't announced on the MMLS main page, I believe fab is keeping the site pretty well separated as its own thing.
But I am curious as to whether that's intentional or not.

On The Main Gate's home page, beneath its name, it says "Sub-site to Mega Man Legends Station" or something like that. You can click on that to get to MMLS, but yeah, otherwise I usually try to keep The Main Gate self-sufficient.

Attention Everyone!
The Main Gate has undergone some major changes as of today. Design:The site has been completely redesigned graphically to give it a refreshed look and reflect a new era in its lifetime. Visit the home page to see it. Concept:The old concept of having a number of staff-run, community-driven sub-sites is no more. The Main Gate now revolves around three solo sub-sites* which I will work on whenever, if ever I feel like it. This is now a no-obligation site. For more info, see the message on the home page and read here as well. Gone:In addition to the abandonment of the site's original concept, two inactive sub-sites have been removed, Launch The Draches and Mega Man Legends EXpansion. Pages pertaining to staff, affiliation, and old goals have also been removed. New:In addition to the new look and concept The Main Gate has added a new sub-site, Sky Pirate Arcade! A history of sorts has also been added to the lower part of this page. So there you have it. Although it is now a no-obligation site, I still hope very much to keep it active, much more so than it has been for a good while. * As a last hold out, Sky Pirate Arcade does accept community submissions, but I am neither optimistic about them nor counting on them coming in to be a major portion of the site.

Ah ha! Not bad news to come back to after a week without a computer. ‘Twas a pleasant surprise. It does sadden me that the original conception of the site as being a community-driven outlet for new Legends fan material has been scrapped. I always thought it sounded kind of promising... But time moves on, I suppose. In any case, it was an understandable move, in my opinion. I haven’t had a chance to play Kobun Cards or any of the demos yet, but I’ve read through all the new pages. I kind of wonder how the Kattelox Kiosk would have worked out, but I do like the whole arcade scheme. I’m also glad that you allow fan submissions. Reading through the site actually inspired me to the point where I went stalking around the room pondering possible game ideas for a bit. Admittedly, I’ll probably never get the chance to act on any ideas I might come up with, buy still. It’s rare that I get any stalk-inducing inspirations these days. o.o As for other random thoughts... I’m not really one for web design, so I don’t have much of an opinion on the new look. It’s simple, but it works. You’re signature is also lacking something in the way of cheese, but the little Glyde/Teisel pieces you made gave me some amusement. XD Also, I don’t think I’ve ever actually said it, but I’m personally looking forward to a Halcyon Days update. I forgot how much I liked those interactive story things until actually exploring the site again. Anyway, good job overall on the whole revamp. I actually haven’t slept for... eh... *looks at fingers pensively* ... A while, so I might be forgetting to mention something, but I think that covers the gist of what I was thinking.

I was excited to hear something new was coming to the Main Gate, but this isn't really what I was hoping for.. The reworked Main Gate looks nice, but the implications of this new design/approach sadden me. It's too bad things didn't go as well as we would've hoped. Particularly LtD; I was psyched about that when it was new.. I'm not upset or disappointed about these changes, just sad. I want to throw in my two cents on the colors though. I understand their purpose.. but some of the combos just seem a bit "off." What I mean, is, well to put it simply, they make me not want to look at it. Purple and teal just feels weird.. to that end I might suggest flipping the 'hover' and 'link' colors at the top. Dark links on a dark background is a no-no; I know they're still readable, but it's still weird on the eyes. The background-colors in general kind of feel awkward; tweaking the shades might do the trick while maintaining the theme. I try to sound like I know what I'm talking about.. Oooh, but Sky Pirate Arcade is cool. I've got all the games set up on my computer for mild Legends-themed amusement at any convenient time. I hope people come up with stuff for that.. Oooh, but while we've got you here, I have to ask.. any chance of Alternate Trigger 4 in the near to not-so-near-but-still-not-distant future?

A little late here, but thanks for the comments all the same, I do appreciate them. I can understand the sad feeling at the change of direction, but after years it was obvious the old road was leading things nowhere.
Sky Pirate Arcade seems to have been very well received, with plenty of interest in the submissions aspect, even if there haven't been any yet. Mlt, I would love to see what sort of game you might come up with, not merely for the sake of the site, but just to see what what sort of concept and style you might give it.
Halcyon Days is the poor, neglected one of the three, but I didn't scrap it with the arrival of TMGV3, so you can be sure it's still alive, even if it's currently on life support. ^_^;;
With MMLSV4 99% complete and the new Main Gate all rolled out, Alternate Trigger Part 04 now resides in the "High Priority" section of my massive projects list (yes, literally) for the first time in a very long time. So, I think the near to not-so-near-but-still-not-distant future is a safe estimate we can put our hopes in. XD I've actually set a deadline for myself, which I don't intend to reveal publicly for obvious reasons, but I think setting a date for completion will help compel me to keep at it, and I think it's a reasonable goal.
By the way, I've decided that major updates on The Main Gate are too few and far between. As of yesterday, I'm going to be posting more informal style updates regarding the progression of various projects as they unfold, even though I may not have anything to actually show along with said updates. It can't hurt for people to know I completed two Alternate Trigger models in the past two days, right? Gives people reason to believe again.
