I just noticed the owner of the Junk Shop went back through the ruins between the shopping center and clozer woods, a while after his first attempt in the beginning of the game. (I just opened the main gate, he could have done this erlier though)

Ah, I just thought of something I didn't notice: I didn't realize that many of those similarly dressed citizens of Kattelox were actually the same person moving around the island. I mean, I knew some of them were, but this past play-through I realized that most of them were.
Actually... I'm not sure I didn't realize that the first time, but it kind of was a surprise to me when it dawned on me this last play-through, so I'm pretty sure I didn't... #scatterbrain

I was watching a play through of MML2 and they kicked the can in the trash! I can't believe I never tried that in MML2!

I used to spend hours kicking cans into the two trashcans is Yosyonke, and the bakery in the shopping center when I was younger.

I was playing the japanese version of MML2 (no questions please) and I got surprised that the mayor's quiz has only 10 questions, instead of the 100 in the US version! the questions must be really hard of course, well, they're hard for me because I... well, don't speak japanese, I mean, I can read and understand katakana and hiragana but heck! I can't answer what those kanji means!
Oh and Yai's questions consist basically in answering "correct" or "wrong" and some questions are something related to the flutter and the dropship.

I was playing the japanese version of MML2 (no questions please) and I got surprised that the mayor's quiz has only 10 questions, instead of the 100 in the US version! You have forgotten much, my friend. The Mayor's quiz is 10 questions at first, in both the English and Japanese games. After you beat her 10 question quiz, you get the opportunity to take the 100 question quiz. Unfortunately for you, and for other non-Japanese-speaking persons like myself, the questions selected for the 10 question Mayor quiz are taken from the 100 questions she has for the bigger quiz. So if you're going to be relying on random luck, you're going to be guessing for a really long time. I couldn't do it myself. By the time I managed to get past about 7 questions, I went and sought the help of a translator. Once you unlock the 100 question quiz, you'll also unlock the option to pay money for the Z-Saber instead of taking the 100 question quiz. I strongly recommend this course of action, unless you have a very patient translator on-hand. I very much doubt that anyone could pass the 100 question quiz by random luck. (In any case, the amount of time it would take to win by random luck is considerably greater than the time it takes to raise 2 million zenny.) Another fun fact: If you're playing the PSP port by any chance, some of the questions in the Mayor's quiz were new. There was a question about the size of a UMD disc (I think), and a question about some characters in Rockman X8. There may have been others, but I just happened to be lucky enough to spot the one, and my translator noticed the other..

There are answer keys online somewhere. Back when I first played through MML2 I tried writing down all the questions and answers as I got them correct, gave up after about a day or two and used google.

IIRC, the mayor charges you 100 zenny to take her 10 question quiz. Of course, there's a girl on the village that asks for 250 zenny as donation, so she gets to re-build the village faster than the mayor.
About the 2 million, I didn't have it in me to sell my refractors and other things (even though they aren't lost forever after selling). I went and embarked on a world tour of the game's ruins. For quick fixes, I highly suggest the bottom floor of Calinca ruins (on the dark and snowy area), just destroy that giant reaverbot first. Or the King Miroc method.

Don't forget about the Engurbot trick. All you need is a Vacuum Arm with infinite energy + above-average range, and a flame shield. Then you can grind* Zenny till you reach the 10 million [-1] cap** and say "Screw tests, I have money!", grab the Zetsabre, and just leave, still having a solid 8 million [-1] Zenny. Comes in handy if you aren't willing to put forth so much effort into your Zenny grinding and don't mind having an insanely long finish time. *Best done with a hallway Engurbot so you don't get stuck, since in rooms like these the Fire Horokkos have been known to glitch through walls, and the rooms can't be exited unless every enemy is destroyed.
**Intended to be done overnight, by weighing down your special weapon button.

Y'know what I just noticed? I just noticed that deek, blayze, and sketchman were all addressing Legends 2. Pitch and Striker were talking about DASH2, where everything is in Japanese. There's no solid quiz guide for DASH2 in existence yet*. Truner did start something to act as a bit of a guide, but it's unfinished, and it'll still take you at least twice as long than it would if the questions were in English, provided you have zilch knowledge of reading Japanese. But yeah. Hopefully that'll clear up any confusion and/or derailing. I'll admit that even I was a little absorbed with making my post that I missed what the original topic was about. :09: *If I'm wrong, feel free to show me.

I noticed that it is possible to get near some reaverbots without hurting you, for example try walking slowly to a gorubeshu, he'll start firing at you, moving from left to right, get a bit more close and he will point at you, but the flames won't reach you. Same with sharukurusu, run in circles to the right at a reasonable distance, he will try to attack you with his right claw but it's hopeless, stop and he will attack you endlessly but again, his claw can't reach megaman.

During a recent replay of MML2, I noticed something interesting during the Appo and Dah scenario on Calbania. When you're attacking the outside of Glyde's base, Appo and Dah will occasionally use slingshots to hit the Glyde mechs. Not sure how much damage they do, but I found it neat that the twins actually fight back as I thought they were just running around like idiots.
