Am I the only one who thinks this is a very bad game? I played through the beginning and the bank robbery but that was it. It wasn't anything I expected it to be. I give it a 3/10 because the music makes me want to never hear anything ever again, the graphics are terrible (even MegaMan Legends had better graphics), and the story is terrible. Why would anyone make such a horrible story. My suggestion is to research this game before you go out and buy it. This is one of those games that are better off destroyed. Bad idea. Bad game. I have read a couple people on here saying how good it is. Let me put it this way. It is as good as Quest 64. It is as good as the remake of Conker's Bad Fur Day. It is as good as the E.T. games. I hope you get the picture here. If you don't know those games than look them up. Enough said.

I take the impression that you're just here to troll the game. Disliking a game is one thing, but outright trolling it? Not a good 'review' at all, man.
And saying that it's just as bad as the E.T game is lol.

I think I can see where you're going with this. MoTB is definitely far different than Legends 1 and 2, it's got its own little thing going on with the Gustaff, Finkel, and Gustaff Tank. As well as Servbot upkeep. It's far more of a "strategy" and "what's missing?" game than a downright "jump straight in and blast everything!" game, if you get what I mean. I played like my aberrant self and plowed through the entire storyline without ever so much as laying a finger on the harbor missions or training servbots, and after watching a certain playthrough of the thing, I realized I missed a whole lot of stuff that would have made the gameplay a lot easier. There's many different ways to play through MoTB, and it's time consuming, but it's by no means, a bad game.

I'm not here to troll the game. I just thought it was a terrible game. If you compare this to Legends 1 then you can definitely tell that it got worse. It's just that I am getting very mad about this whole series. Legends 1 was great. It was perfect. Legends 2 was still pretty good but it dropped a little. This is just a disaster. I just hope Legends 3 will be much better. For 11 years it better be mind blowing.

Because I tend to find that when people hype too much, comes more disappointment. I think that's why Zelda: Twilight Princess is so "hated" in the fandom. In fact, I think the hype is already starting to disappoint people. You're setting your expectations WAY too high. But really, claiming that it should be destroyed or that it is comparable to E.T. is 'trolling' to me.

Admittedly, it's very different. The story-telling is akin to a visual novel game -- common in Japan, and very rarely came to the US until games like Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton got popular. Gameplay is varied, so it doesn't get stale as you play. I played the game very differently as a kid, as in I did all of the missions without spending much time on my Servbots and now as an adult and replaying it, I'm taking my time in the game training my Servbots and wiping the floor with the bosses XD. I sometimes get fun out of setting some silly goal in the game, like getting through the game spending as little zenny as possible or maxing out all of the Servbot stats.
Also, don't destroy it. It's hard to find a good copy of that game nowadays.

Seriously, I've never even touched a copy of MoTB. I've played it, but never managed to actually have it.
I have to agree with what other people are saying; even if there are some more Legendsy-action mission to do, it's a very different kind of game. S'all about strategy, and the way the story is told is pretty interesting.
Maybe it seems like it's cutting corners, but that's only if you try to compare it to the MML games proper; they are not the same thing, so this doesn't work.
Doesn't mean you have to like it. I don't even like it much (not a fan of strategy games)... but I haven't really given it a fair chance, in my mind.
Also, the music is amazing, what are you even talking about? Nakkai desert has always been my favorite piece of Legends music and it's not even from the games I've beaten.

Although I don't agree with you, I get the feeling of disliking a game everyone else likes. Personally, Super Mario Kart is one of the worst video games I have ever played. I enjoyed playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 more. And yet, I have yet to meet one other person in this world who hates it as much as I do.
Ugh, Super Mario Kart.:15: Just, please don't destroy the game. Destroy something else... (Coughcoughsupercoughmariocoughcoughkartcough)

LOL.
I don't hate Super Mario Kart, but I'd almost have to agree with you there. I decided to revisit that a few years back when I got tired of Mario Kart DS (wanna talk about lame?), and I was shocked at how much harder it was to control. It really made things difficult. They sure have improved the controls for those games over the years. I finished it, but it wasn't easy. Actually it was easy; it just wasn't as easy as Mario Kart DS. :37:
What section are we in? Oh my, that was off topic. Let's see . . .
Hey, darklink99, if you're going to go about destroying copies of Misadventures, could you spare one and send it my way? Those are awful hard to find these days. Awful hard to find without paying a small fortune, anyway.

You can hardly call a game "bad", let alone review it if you haven't even played through at least 3/4 of the game. And it's always a matter of preference whether someone likes a game or not. That's why I never pay attention to the scores of game reviews and those game of the year awards because it's always a matter of preference of those reviewing the games. Anyway, while I certainly didn't like Misadventures as much as the main Legends games, I felt that it still was very much worth playing. You get a back-story of the Bonnes, as well as a look at how they live when they're not out raiding stuff. Plus, I thought managing Servbots was a lot of fun! ;D

I'm not here to troll the game. That may be so, but your lack of justification of your opinions say otherwise.

I'm not going to try and convince you to like the game or anything, but if you really hate it that much and have a copy, try to resell it for a profit. There are people out there who would go to ridiculous lengths to get it just because it's Legends at all. Having a copy of it and getting it for the original MSRP or less is like buying stock in Google back when everyone was still using Yahoo and AOL. Try and beat a rerelease to the punch when reselling, because if MoTB were to appear on 3DS or PSN or something the value of the actual discs will probably go down quite a bit.
You may think it's worse than E.T., but E.T. won't net you over a hundred dollars for a used copy.

I enjoyed what I did play, but the emulator always gave me problems. Which one are you using? MoTB is naturally buggy on any given emulator.
