tominator: Check this: marco.kaywa.com/work/color-matters.htmlAs it says: "as long as the light color stays clearer than the dark one, and there is enough contrast between the two" this could work. I get this QR using KAYWA´s QR code generator qrcode.kaywa.com/@ Raijin: Guess what? This site also count with a downloadable QR reader for phones reader.kaywa.com/en but it looks like it can be a lot of trouble searching compatibility and installing on the phone. (i hope 3ds count with this service too)

They're really popular in NYC already. They're on buildings and billboards so if you see a product you like you can learn more about it right away instead of waiting until you get home and forgetting (probably the most exploitable and realistic use) As for colors and overlays, you can go a step further and make graphical modifications! QR codes are so compact that the data can be (and is) redundant within the code. If chunks of it are obscured, the reader is still able to get the whole message from the rest of it. Here are some examples where entire portions are replaced with images. These codes aren't specially formulated, you can take any code and put an image on it like this and it will still work. Pretty much, you just need to make sure you don't screw with the four orientation squares or cover up more than 1/4 of it.

Sybillian&Qwertman That's pretty cool I wonder what else could be done "customizing" these QR codes. I actually found another QR code generator here: www.racoindustries.com/barcodegenerator/2d/qr-code.aspxIt allows for more customization of the QR code. In this case I was able to select type H error correction which is able to restore ~30% of the code (which would be more desirable for recolors or other editing). This is great since the MMLS address is rather small and again if me mess us some of the code in any recolors or other customizations it will be less of a problem. So here's the blank Legends Station QR code with type H correction: And some simple recolors I did:
