Everyone loves the minions

You know what I'm talking about right?

yes our dear Servbots/Kobuns. As you may know "kobun" may mean "minion" or "underling". Now Maybe this topic shouldn't be in the Legends section but I was wondering...

Becasue of that movie "Despicable Me" (which I don't plan to watch), I was wondering how many stuff has those lil' minions who look all the same, yet they are very different.

Want an example?

In "Bomberman Jetters" Anime and games, tehre's this group of bandits (much similar to the ones we know right?) called Higehige-dan. The main people involved are the leader Bagura, the commander Mujou (seen in the picture) and Thousands of little robots that apaprently have no name but are named as numbers... now where have we seen this before? :04:


So, that's only an example, you guys know any more groups of minions with similar caracteristics?

I wouldn't really call them 'minions' per say, but the Tachikomas from Ghost in the Shell kind of act like the Kobuns at times. They also have that habit of getting into trouble as well. ;D

Indeed, the kobuns do get into trouble, but curses if you can't help but like those little guys...

Man I loved the Hige Hige minions, even though they were royally stupid back in Bomberman Tournament, always stopping to do their salutes at the worst times possible, only to get bombed in the face...

And I think the game only ever had one Bandit that was capable of attacking you.

But yes, I do really like Bomberman. But it may be no more after what happened to Hudson...

And yes, they are pretty much useless. I saw the whole anime recently and didn't found any better use for them

This is not the first parallel we've seen between MML and Zach and Wiki. I wonder if that game was just Capcom using MML as a formula in traditional Cash Cow fashion.

It wouldn't surprise me. Zack has Tron's hair, Rose has Tron's personality (and pirating job, and huge airship, and apparently infinite minions), Wiki looks like a gold version of Data...
