They'll be fine, Loken. After all, they're highly expendable. I personally view anybody with a Mandomantal rank to be one of those Newbies, so it's no huge loss.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't GreenPow one of those unregistered newbies? Lol

....Curse you and your attention to detail, Music! *Shakes fist*I honestly have no idea where I stand as an unregistered member. I'm assuming that unregistered people have a wild-card value to them, as they cannot be tracked by the normally-implanted chip.

If what I remember from one of Dashe's previous posts was that most of the city buildings main functions acted on the member's registration chips. But then again, that brings up a very important question. If GreenPow is not a registered member, would that make the banhammer useless on him? He's working within the outside of city limitations.

I just remembered that rule about the buildings while writing up my last RP post. You do raise a good point about the limitations of Dashe's banhammer. However, I'm pretty sure that it's petrifying blows are just as effective against me as any normal member. The banhammer is supposed to reflect Dashe's ability of IP banning, so, regardless of whether I'm a member or not, it'll still turn my ass to stone. Edit: And I'm not going to test that theory, so don't try to give me ideas.

Yeah, I compared the post times of both my reply and your RP post and it was within the same minute, lol. It's just an interesting little question that could potentially be another banhammer's weakness.

Yeah, the banhammer won't do much on Greenpow. It doesn't make sense to IP ban in MMLS City, since an MMLS City IP would probably be similar for everyone in the city limits. Unfortuantely, it can still kill you if I get mad enough at you, so yeah, I wouldn't test my patience on this one because I'm currently running on empty in this game. It does work on anything that was created in MMLS City, though. Like the Seeteufel and Bowen's front door. Also works on lesser Reaverbots, as long as they're not bosses.

I don't usually post in this discussion, but I thought I might so I can give a little explanation to the Harbinger Shot weapon Fatman used. That way, once you know how it works, it won't seem so overpowered.
The Harbinger Shot is based on the Harbinger weapon from Ratchet: Deadlocked. Like the Harbinger, it fires out several holographic 'painter targets' that cover the field, and not less than a couple seconds later the targets--and any enemies within their bounds or near them--get bombarded by ion cannon blasts from above. The Harbinger's a powerful weapon, but there are several drawbacks to it: It's only got a (possible) maximum of thirteen rounds of ammo, and you can't pick up the ammo for it on the field. You have to go back to a vendor in-game to buy the ammo, and the ammo costs a ridiculous amount of Bolts.
The Harbinger Shot, by comparison, has the same drawbacks. Fatman was only able to register the weapon under the condition that he severely limit the ammo capacity of the weapon to a single round, and he also voluntarily signed a waiver forcing him to pay 5,000 Zenny every time he fires the weapon, otherwise the weapon is deemed illegal in the city grounds.
So, there you go. It's an excellent crowd-clearing weapon, but it costs Fatman too much time and money to use it more than once, so it's relegated--as it was in the RP just now--to a desperation weapon.

A normal member gets hit by the banhammer, they get turned to stone. GreenPow gets hit by the banhammer, he gets broken bones and internal bleeding.

Well, you are essentially being walloped with a hammer. As far as I know, those results are typical for people who get whacked with a giant hammer by someone who's actually trying.

Before I get called out on this, I'm going to explain a possible plot-hole.
I had to open the door of the janitors' closet to enter, right? Since I haven't registered, I'd normally be unable to access doors inside the city. My explanation?
The door was slightly ajar. I repeat. The door was slightly ajar!

I'll go make sure I leave it slightly ajar! Thanks for the heads up.

I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for not posting sooner. Not only has work been pretty time-consuming for me, keeping me from continuing the arrangement with Dashe and Loken, but I also got hit by a bad case of writer's block I've only just recently broken through, not to mention needing to replace my old computer keyboard so I can actually continue writing (have you ever tried to use a laptop with no spacebar? You actually DO need it, and pressing a tiny little button to input the spacebar signal is no fun). But I'm back, and will try to post a bit more frequently.

*Slams table*That's not good enough! Orlando Bloom voices aside, don't worry about getting writer's block - it can happen to the best of us. Keyboard issues are another problem altogether. One time, I messed up one of my older models so badly, that whenever I pressed a key, it would input both the letter/number I wanted, but also a random key adjacent to it. Annoying for typing, and freakin' suicide for asterisk'd passwords. Oh, and welcome back to the fray!
