I see...
Well, I guess we can say that we'd best be nice to you less we get an unwanted title huh? Boy do I feel like I gotta own-up now, lol!

I may be in charge but I'm not a total jerk! I'd only give out a mean custom title on April Fool's, and only if I know you REALLY well.

And here's why jokes aren't my specialty...I didn't mean to upset you Miss Dashe.

Mikéy: It's funny, after I posted noticed your location was 'the lunch table' perhaps that comercial line, or some variant, would be a good one after all? LOL. I have no clue what you mean. I guess I should thank Chiz for inspiring me, if that's what you mean. For the record, I had no idea Dashe couldn't change fAB's title. I thought she was doing that all along. :23: Anyway Guy, anyone marked as a "Station Master" (in other words, the admins) can give out custom titles. It's a profile option only they can see. Gotta love proboards.

It was part of a post last page, I suggest a good option was "give it to Mikey he'll eat anything" and your location, "@ the lunch table", makes the funny.
And Station Masters all get it? Nice to know.

You didn't upset me, Guy. I'd never use a Emotikobun if I were upset.

Well, you never really truly know what a post means, even with emoticons...Safe to say I covered the bases, huh?

Yes, indeed. I like to be pretty up-front with my emotikobun use, just for clarity.

*Sees new Custom Title* Dashe's doing, I presume?
I'm cool with this.

Just a purely random, but rather curious thought... Is it possible to completely remove a Custom-Title from someone who's been given one?

Well why wouldn't it be? Admins can give them out and take them away. It's basically a profile option they're given that normal members can't use/see; like the custom text under your avatar, if you will.

I'm certain that the admins should be able to remove the custom title from someone as easily as they can add it to you, like how they can also edit posts as well.
I must admit that I was curious about the custom title thing before, but the thread here cleared up what I had wanted to know.
I like the fact that we get custom titles after we earn them for doing things and also makes one stand out a bit too.

Well...My reason for asking is, oddly three-fold, and answers you guys in slight:
To Mikey/Reason A - Not all forum hosting places include 'Undo'-style options on everything...I used to run a few places myself(long ago), one allowed title-giving but not removal of titles once they were given. So naturally, I was slightly curious.
To Truner/ Reason B - Really, I can't say why anyone would want to get rid of a title, but maybe they feel it doesn't fit them anymore and haven't yet earned a newer more fitting one. I myself feel this possible thought applies/could apply to a few of us... (I may even be one such, but that is for whomever to decide.)
To Steffie / Reason C - I had figured it, if applied to this forum, would be like a Post-edit system, only profile-centric...as you pointed out. But it, overall, was a question that hadn't yet been covered in-thread.

Ah, I don't have one...yet. Maybe I'd have one by now if I would actually post somewhere other than the RP and forum game sections. Dream's is funny.
