Ah, I see. Wait. That means that the Japanese fans are at a different Dev Room than we are, right (that's actually quite logical)? Do they have any plans of having both fanbases exchange ideas as one core group, or something? I wonder. Hah! I was so tempted to bring this up in the comments, but I didn't think they'd appreciate my being a grammar nazi. It's like nobody proofreads things these days, even when they post them on the internet for thousands of people to read... You shouldn't be. I'm very grateful when someone corrects me on grammar (or spelling, for that matter), I never understood why so many people hate being corrected on that subject (I guess they're descriptivists, very devoted descriptivists), lol.

Right, the Japanese poll was conducted on some other website somewhere. Regarding correspondence between the Japanese community and the Capcom Unity devroom/etc, there is that MegaMan Legends 3 Developer Room Community Liaison position they're hiring for. We have yet to see what's going to come of that. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a single person on this board that can apply, because the position requires you to be fluent in Japanese. Ah well.

When people say that Inafune's design (Inafune's specifically, everyone else looked more Battle Network-esque in my opinion) looks like Roll, I kind of have to agree with them. You see, she resembles a very different Roll.Fixed it for you. By the way, I think I know why Japan had three times the votes. No registration. Not that I could see anyway. It looked like Japanese fans were free to stop in at the site and vote right off the bat. Over here we were forced to sign up to Capcom Unity's site, a process that many fans probably thought was more trouble than it was worth. Also, the talk about the "DevRoom opening soon", I think is unique to the Japanese site as well. There's no forum on the Japanese site at the moment, they've been doing all their communication with the fans through the blog post comments. From the way they're describing the DevRoom that's about to open, it sounds like it's just going to be a more organized board like what the english Unity site has had from the beginning. So there'll probably be no changes on our side.

Thanks for that. Updated the original post. And yeah, the Japanese website didn't require registration. I was linked to it when the poll was first announced; you just clicked on the one you wanted, typed out a comment, and that was it. Ever-so-slightly more convenient.

Awesome. I voted for her.
What can I say... its a very original design.. I especially like her arms and legs.
I saw several people saying "Pokemon got here" gee... its hard to show something completely original to everyone like! Well I like it.

Why the heck does she remind me of Sonia/Misora from Megaman starforce?

^She was drawn by one of the artists that designed characters for the Star Force series.

I'm happy to hear that Komaki's design had won; as I liked that design a lot and I had voted for it. I'm happy to hear that they'll be tweaking the design to be more suitable for the Legends series.
Hmm, I wonder what would happen to the designs? They look like they could be interesting NPCs.

Well, hey, a winner! (not that it's been up for like years... 0_o ) I was hoping for Suetsugu to win, but honestly Komaki's design is a lot better than some of the others. Well, congratulations Komaki-San; now bring on the DASH-ification!

I must conform with the majority for this one. I liked this design a little bit better then the rest of them. All of the designs look like they were ripped from the Battle Network/Star Force series.
Lucky, they are redesign them to give a more legends "feel" to them.
