Yeah, I'd definitely say the difference is like walking into White House, Black Market and walking into Wal-Mart at this point. >_< If any of us do have ideas here, it'd be best to polish them until they're gleaming and then take them over, just for credibility's sake. Since a bunch of people have links to their websites in their sigs, I put links to LS and the forums in mine. I usually just browse around there to stay on top of things and post when I feel like I've got a point to make, while making Legends Station look good doing it...oddly enough there are a couple of non-LS regulars over there who've fallen into the habit of calling me 'Miss Dashe' there. I mean, it's no different than having divorced parents. If you really wanna go over there and represent Legends Station, be tactful about it. fab actually made a nice sig to use if you want to help out (I've just got a site logo and forum link myself since my personality's gaudier than that car Glyde drove in AimMan's amazing '06 fanfic.) Their sigs use the same bbcode as we do, so you can use that image to link directly to LS. So far 20 and Arne and I haven't been modded for site banners in our sigs, so I assume it's alright...

Personally, I like the idea of this forum getting the digest end of the discussion. Wading through a billion posts per hour looking for something poignant amidst a sea of thoughtless and redundant comments is not my thing. I go to Capcom Unity to skim through the blog entries and that's about it, I won't be joining in on the discussion over there. Sure I like the idea of having my voice as a fan heard in the development process, but I'm confident there are enough users over there with my voice already. They don't need one more. Meanwhile, as long as all the important stuff is posted here, I can read and respond as necessary and still get on with my day. So I say keep the majority of the traffic over there. Pretty much how I feel about the Development Room too, there's just so many ideas that I don't agree with, that are pretty small details that I don't care about, some things that even go against what Legends stands for or are outright just fans of the other MM series asking for stuff from their favorite series to appear in Legends, I'd rather lurk around here (like I've been doing for years), most of the stuff worth listening to is here since it's been properly discussed and thought about for years.

I also think that the reason between quality between the discussion here and there is because of the amount of people participating. There's just too many there, it's too big of a crowd.
Too many chefs spoil the soup.

Dude--that's exactly why I joined this forum.
Let me make the motivations clear: I love designing games, and it would be criminal for the devs to just pick ideas left-and-right at random. While they're smart enough not to do that, we all want a similar set of mechanics and features implemented for the new game, and as such I really want to make a design document for the new game. Arne's document was fantastic, given making those are his work-play, and the Station can make its own version.
Although, I have to admit, you guys are too funny for me to leave.

Aw, thanks. We try. Or...at least I try. Can't quite speak for the rest of the lot. >_> <_<
I know I've got a knack for picking out grammar problems and funny stories. And I definitely know the Bonne family upside-down and inside-out. XD

Seriously, if you have an idea, make a thread for it and we'll help bring out the best in it till it's shining with professionalism! Do you mean here or at the Devroom's forum? If you mean the Devroom's forum, then I made this thread discussing if Trigger should be referred to as "MegaMan" or "Mega" in Legends 3 if anyone's interested.

I mean post it here. If you post it there, there's a good chance it'll get lost, and the last thing you'll have is a bunch of people trying to help you make it better. :-\
