I find it amazing how you can redesign the heroines in your own style and add in your own personal touches while keeping what already makes them original. The colours you use are perfect, and I love the poses your characters make, they're so expressive! I can't wait to see more of your stuff!

To rust or not to rust... Really, if the Reaverbots are ancient, they might have to be pretty durable. On the other hand, they might just replace parts every few decades or so. I felt that the hands on the hanmuru made it too human and centaur'y. Clubs are more fun and alien. However, in this case I needed the hands to create that threatening feel. She got away safely btw.

The Capcom people DID see it. They singled him out. The Japanese blog even posted his pics right on the page. That's why Arne's practically already on their payroll. If he keeps drawing (and it looks like no force on earth can stop him), it's only a matter of time before Reaverbot Legends is an actual game.

Ah, gotcha.
These are cool, but I really prefer the crude sloppily made designs of '97. Your human characters are too sexy for Legends. I wouldn't know they were even Legends characters unless I was told so.
Reaverbot Legends would make an awesome spinoff, though. I would totally throw wads of cash at you for that.

Thanks! Seems like Komaki's entry might win.

Y'know, if anything comes from those redesigns catching Capcom's eye, it could be they change their mind about the spotter thing and make her the digger of the team instead. The mysterious angry guy she's grouped with can be the spotter instead. Now picture some stereotypical hotheaded anime male rival archetype being relegated to sitting in the ship giving misleading directions to Batty there.

Brilliant shot of Komaki's design. :18: Komaki's official design was already my favorite, but you've made it just that much more awesome. (This is the sort of thing I'm hoping to see from Capcom one of these days. )

Arne: Those boots just scream Mega Man! They look so fitting. I guess you've been taking a look at the designs of ZX characters too?

Yeah, I really liked the Zero/ZX art when those games came out. I guess I unconsciously might have gone in that direction. It felt pretty arbitrary though. I have a feeling I'm gonna hate this drawing when I wake up tomorrow. It's my first attempt at emulating the MML style, and I don't really know what I'm doing here:
