Alright, I figured I've had enough time to calm down and make a decent post about how great this is now, but as soon as I sat down and started typing I started getting really excited again. AUGH.
But let me see if I've got this straight: Megaman returned to the 8bit era of gaming, Then Mario got his first console sidescroller in 13 years, Then we get news of a good Sonic game, Robert Pelloni gets his own game company, Kid Icarus is revived, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby Wii is finally getting released, FRIGGIN DUKE NUKEM FOREVER ACTUALLY EXISTS, and now LEGENDS 3!?
THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END.

How did it feel to make that new forum, Dashe? It feels like dreams really do come true. Though it's a lot less Disney-esque than I'd imagined. And I also feel like I ought to make a speech or something.

You should totally make a speech. EDIT: also, gotta say, I guess I picked the perfect time to come browse the forums again, didn't I? Awesome coincidence that just a couple days after I show up, Legends 3 is announced.

Why's everybody hatin' on Nintendo's new handheld? It hasn't even been confirmed that the US price will be 300 yet.

These are awesome times, right? Let's hope they only get awesome-er with this fan feedback process. I generally would of preferred them to keep a lot of the development close to their chest. Too much input from too many different places can cause a schizophrenic product. Also, as the consumers we might have certain changes of heart if we get to see "how the food is made". But I have faith that this process is going to be handled well and that it will actually serve to make the game better.
I too would of preferred a multi-platform console release, simply because I enjoy games most on the couch. But the 3DS news doesn't bother me one bit. Infact I think it's really smart and it shows that Inafune is being relatively responsible even when he's chasing his dreams. MML3 being a colorful game might not of been the best market for the super expensive consoles. Not that it would of been impossible for it to succeed but it fits much better with the 3DS. Let's hope the series grows and branches out and maybe we do get some sort of console installment.
I'm going to try and update the Original Post with general 3DS info.

Why's everybody hatin' on Nintendo's new handheld? It hasn't even been confirmed that the US price will be 300 yet. It's 250,000 Yen in Japan, same as the Wii at launch. The Wii launched in the US for $250, the 3DS will be $250 here as well even tho Nintendo hasn't said. Throw in tax and having to buy MML3 itself, and you're looking at over $300. I'm not hating on the system, I just really wanted a console game, especially after 10 years. This needed to be on a grand 42" TV screen, not a 4" handheld screen.

Beggars can't be choosers. Sure, I'd rather have it on consoles, but it's a huge risk development wise for Capcom as the sales for the first 2 weren't that amazing.

You know, I knew you were going to end up making a Legends 3 forum, but it still surprised me to see it. Hah It feels like dreams really do come true. Though it's a lot less Disney-esque than I'd imagined. And I also feel like I ought to make a speech or something. I totally think you should make a speech. I totally expected you to make a speech. Like, right when you got here this morning. o__o Speech! Speech!

OK. Updated the OP with some random info. If anyone can think of anything else, write it and I'll just copy paste it. Oh I should probably put a picture up... right?

I'm really proud of most of you guys for supporting the choice of system. Brofist. Well, I for one want to ask that there's no fanservice (of the perverted variety) at all, no jiggle physics, skimpy outfits How about no fun, while you're at it? But let me see if I've got this straight: Megaman returned to the 8bit era of gaming, Then Mario got his first console sidescroller in 13 years, Then we get news of a good Sonic game, Robert Pelloni gets his own game company, Kid Icarus is revived, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby Wii is finally getting released, FRIGGIN DUKE NUKEM FOREVER ACTUALLY EXISTS, and now LEGENDS 3!? www.daemonsmovies.com/2010/09/27/bill-ted-3/www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/And I also feel like I ought to make a speech or something. If you won't, then maybe I will. Be sure to listen to some fitting music. Ladies and gentlemen… or, rather, friends… nay, brothers and sisters… today marks the end of our fantastic, ten-year journey. We've been through so much, through good times and bad, and we stuck together the whole way. For that reason, and that reason only, we have braved the battlefields and emerged victorious. Our days of fighting for our sequel may be over, but we must now fight to protect it. The machine we've fought for so long is now working in our favor, and we must work together to support it. Should we fail to do that, our efforts until now will have been for nothing, and we will find ourselves in another struggle that could last another ten years, even longer, or even forever. We must all try our hardest to support Keiji Inafune and his team, but try to succeed where they fail. This truly has been our year, and so shall the next, and the next after that. The future is up to us. If we stick together, and always put each other before ourselves, we may never see an end to our halcyon days. Be safe, be happy, and be hyped.

Wow. I'm blown away. I haven't been waiting 10 years like most people, but legends is was and forever shall be my favorite game series. I've always liked nintendo handhelds and now they come out with one with close to wii graphics, and it has Megaman Legends 3. BattleNetwork had atleast 10 games on the gba so we might even see a legends 4. This is the best Megaman news in YEARS and I'm very proud to be a legends fan. Good things come to those who wait.

I actually stayed up 'til 3am reading all of these posts, soaking it in, and announcing it to other forums. As a result, I woke up late, and am currently late for class. But I don't care.
I shall celebrate by marching to school drinking glorious cream soda like ravenf6, going through a playthrough of RockMan DASH 1 and 2 on my PSP, and playing RockMan DASH music all day on my iPod. All of you should too! (Especially the buying RockMan DASH 1 and 2 for PSP part!) It's a good time to be a Legends fan (and a gamer in general considering a lot my other favorite games are coming out next year).

HOW DID I MISS THIS WHEN IT HAPPENNED!?!?!?!? Ok, now I'm DEFINITELY making a rockman suit for halloween, not just maybe. EUPHORIA! I am also disappointed at the system choice, I would have loved to play this on my 50 inch tv. But I am a true fan. I will get whatever system is necessary.
It would be so awesome to have a RL release party. Probably not much of an option though :\
