I signed up this morning and voted on a few side issues regarding how the votes should be handled. As for what those rubes saying we need to shut up, those kind of 'suggestions' should have no place in the box. Even the Exe/starforce fans have a right to put in the suggestions they have to add (not that I'd personally want them to succeed, mind you). I'll see what else can be tossed in the pot as far as subjects go... though the idea of a Yellow-Devil inspired reaverbot boss holds a lot of appeal, to me.

and knocked down a couple X9 ones while I was at it. Oh wow, I actually want that one! but,(sobs)I want X9 too!!!. WAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! I hated X5 for its poor quality and numerous other disappointing factors. It was crappy because Inafune left it up to other people to finish off the series so that he could focus on starting the Zero series. Terrible as it is, I at least value that it was supposed to be the end of the series. X6 and beyond were never supposed to exist in the first place, so I dislike them out of out principle, though from what I've seen of others playing them (I avoid them myself) they look like they continued making them with horrendous X5 standards.[/strong opinions] All that aside, my feeling is that if Capcom sees any decent support for a cheaper, easier to make and likely to be more popular Mega Man game (talking about X9 here), it's only going to hinder the potential for more Legends. Therefore I say, even people who want more games from the other series, if they're Legends fans, ought to consider voting down things they want just for the sake of helping Legends out. History has shown us that Legends needs that level of help to have a shot at a sequel. The other series apparently don't.

I keep going back and voting for Legends...right now it's at a pretty close second behind Resident Evil: Outbreak. I've got that same gut feeling that fab's got, too...as if Legends 3 is the last thing in the world Capcom wants to invest in. Gotta love that paranoia settling in for the long haul.

It seems like a lot of people's suggestions are basically “Tell those friggin’ Legends fans to shut up already.” That's depressing. They can go to hell.

Let's see how far we can push their buttons with that, shall we? I've been going through a few pages of this SB, and found a few interesting suggestions. Among one of them, a sequel to the Misadventures of Tron Bonne. There's also one of re-releasing the aforementioned and other two Legends games. I think releasing them in a compilation would be a good start, but that's just me. @okeidragon: :)My thoughts exactly. Although I should have mentioned earlier that those anti-Legend buffoons post suggestions like a group of dairy farmers.

How exactly do we know they are anti-legends? or have I missed something by not checking since this weekend?

I had signed up last month and had voted for all the Legends suggestions. Oh, and one for ZX 3. I dunno if it's just me, but I seem to be unable to vote. It says that I must be logged in to vote, but I was : . @cleveland Rock I saw a bunch of those while I was flipping through the pages. It seems like a lot of people's suggestions are basically “Tell those friggin’ Legends fans to shut up already.” That's depressing. I had noticed that too. It ruffled my feathers up. But, I bet these same people would start a war against CAPCOM if they had to wait just as long as we had.

@steffie: Meatheads, meatheads, everywhere! While I'm inclined to agree that we aren't the only ones who have desires to see certain games resurface (I'd love to see another Gargoyle's Quest/Demon's Crest game, personally), there was no need for slander like that. You guys aren't going to believe this, but a legends suggestion I made has crawled its way up to the 2nd page!! (ruins idea, mostly) Wow... Back to the subject of those ant-legends buffoons, their suggestions and verbal skills are as repulsive as monkeys dressed in negligees! Time to go back, methinks..

Anyway do not judge games you never played, Mega Man X8 is very good, and Mega Man X7 is decent too(red fight sucked.)

Any interest in the series seems to spark from nostalgia or some mild curiosity made from throwing in an obscure iteration of Megaman no one recognized into Tats x Cap ( Helmetless Megaman or Megaman wth hair seems to be a popular name for fans that aren't privy to the series). I dunno if I'm ready to handle all the hype and gossip and terribly drawn rule34 of Legends that popularity will entail. Up until now I've enjoyed being part of a more quiet and reserved fanbase. Growth is a scary idea when it comes to games. I'm the kind of fan who would willingly vote down Legends because I know what kind of BS Capcom is willing and capable of doing just so they can reach beyond pleasing the series' demographic and keep sales figures high. Ok, so Mega Man Legends could come out first, but Mega Man X9 needs to come out too (in PS2 graphics by the way). Anyway do not judge games you never played, Mega Man X8 is very good, and Mega Man X7 is decent too(red fight sucked.) Why PS2 graphics, might I ask? Did old-skool and current-gen go outta style recently? Is most-recent-gen-before-now the new thing all the kids are about? XD I will judge these games because I have played them personally. X8 was alright. I could have done without the cheesy voice acting, terrible story and obvious change in character design, but minus a few other quirks the game is fantastic. X7 deserves any flack it gets. The game is a mess in every aspect.

Now would be a good time to release that PSP port of MegaMan Legends 1 and 2 Capcom!

Why not? If you're thinking about buying a game do you not read up on it, look at screenshots, check out reviews, etc.? Unless you just mindlessly buy any game because of the series its in, then you "judge" it before playing and determine whether to buy it or not based on your opinion of it (unless you play it at a friend's house, or whatever, but I think I make my point).
I used to feel the same way after seeing what happened to the X and BN series. These days though, I don't care. We deserve our sequel whether it sucks or not. And if it does suck, at least we can all be disappointed and move on.
On the other hand though, I believe that at its core Legends is something truly awesome and special. As such I feel this series and any future games in it have a higher immunity to suckage no matter what Capcom may do to try and mess it up.

The keyword you're looking for is suggestion, not vote. You need to be registered I think. Just click the "Create Suggestion" button and go from there.
