Perhaps I shall conceive a Flash movie about this.

drawing some very inspirational art If artie allowed us we could use those reaverbot sketches of is. He's rarely around though. His sketches though kick butt! ;D

I was wondering if we could get his help. If Arne reworked his current pitch a bit, it would really help DASH 3 stick out, especially if it was supported with a variety of art from different people in addition to what's already there. I think the Legends fan community in general will need to work together to have any chance against other games.

Reaverbot sketches? Where are those? I've started getting into building computers and I thought it would be awesome to name them after reaverbots.
Mine is Sharukurusu (I'm using AimMan's Invisible Sharukurusu sketch as my user icon) But aside from his invisible sharukurusu I couldn't find any good reaverbot sketches to use as user icons on any others.

Reading the article; I am quite curious about how likely Legends 3 would see the light of day. I am a bit disappointed about the one game with the most vocal fans/ most interesting ideas would have a greater chance of being made. Legends 3 alone is a long-awaited sequel to the Legends franchise; but so is the other games in their perspective series as well. Well, ladies and gentlemen, let's get those creative juices flowing and make our voices loud and clear

I swear, the longer Inafune runs around dodging Legends 3 questions, the more and more I feel like I should be locked up in a mental institution for even considering the remote possibility that we're going to get our game. And even moreso, for considering that even if they did, they'd put enough effort in it to do the title justice.
Has anyone managed to contact Artie yet on helping the cause?

Why does everyone keep calling him "Artie"? He goes by Arne, and he's already shown a lack of interest in helping the cause, saying Inticreates proposed this to Inafune already with (possibly) way more than what he's done.
It's not a question of convincing them a sequel would be a good idea, it's a question of convincing them a loooooot of money is coming their way.
Business is business, especially with corporate whores like Inafune. Let's try and be realistic.

At this rate, If someone had a kid when Mega Man Legends 2 was released, that kid's probably going to wind up turning twenty before Legends 3 came out. Everyone else was doing it and it seemed like a good idea at the time? In all seriousness though, if they're giving us a chance, even a remote one, and we don't take it, we have even less of a chance at getting this game than we would've had if we did get our butts into gear and at least genuinely make ourselves known other than bludgeoning Inafune with fifty-some odd posts from half-literate teenagers and twentysomethings begging him 2 mak us MML3 plz. Part of the reason that nothing's actually happening, whether any of you even want to realize it or not, is that the whole lot of us are @#$%ing jaded as anything from being metaphorically punched in the gut with each new Mega Man franchise that pops out of Crapcom's arse, myself included. I am by no stretch of the mind even capable of calling myself a gamer anymore because so much of the video game mainstream just doesn't appeal to me. And this game, out of every disc and cartridge in my repertoire, still does, even after I beat it. Even after I 100%'d it. On Hard Mode. A game with this much charm and personality and life to it just doesn't happen every day, especially in an industry that's so dependent on ensuring high sales by appealing to a very specific market again and again and again. It would only make sense that the genuinely awesome game should get the recognition it deserves, for being different in a time when so much hinges on how much money a game is expected to get in return before it even hits the shelves. The last time a Mega Man Legends game was released I was twelve, and now I'm twenty-two. I have absolutely nothing in common with what I was like back then except for wanting this game to be created, and that's saying something in itself. Waiting that amount of time for anything is bound to make you a little crazy, and even understanding how businesses work and how sales and money take priority over a hoard of overly-cynical fans, I'd still take any chance that comes my way, no matter how slim it might be or how ridiculous it even sounds. I don't know about the rest of you, but even if we do end up going down in the end I'd rather we go out fighting than sit around and just talk about "maybe trying, sort of, when we feel like it, because all of us know Legends 3 is just going to suck anyway even if we have to wait for it until we're in our thirties."

Well I see someone's been spending a lot of time practicing monologues in Drama Class. But yeah, I agree with you 100% there. The negativity has been weighing heavily on the community for years now. I mean, it's not unexpected at all, what with the 10+ year wait since MML2, but all the negativity has a permeating effect on the fandom, giving it a depressed feeling. I took a look through some old threads the other day, some dating from as far back as 2004. The type of feelings the posts and members seemed to give off then was a much more vibrant, 'fun' feel- it seemed that they genuinely enjoyed being Legends fan back then. I'm not saying that that feeling has entirely disappeared, but the overall feel seems to have become more...well, stagnant now. It's why I think the whole Legends/DASH community should try to do something together, to help heal wounds a bit. Besides, anything we do will be much stronger if we do it as a whole, right?

Wow Dashe that post of yours just inspired me to work on my fangame again, and I also agree 100%.
Also like Blues said, it seems stagnant and no one seems to want to work on anything together around here anymore, besides a few people.
And I also agree that we should all take a chance no matter how small it may be, of getting a sequel.

I'd be happy to get on board anything that might help us get legends 3. I don't really have the spare time to take the initiative by myself but I will help in any way I can if needed. I guess I could work on a 20 page essay on why Legends 3 should be made over a few months (I'm a VERY good, if slow, writer) but I doubt that would have a huge effect.
