Thank you very much for the video, Rockman Striker. I enjoyed watching the gameplay for the alpha version.

You take requests?! I never knew! How about a new demo within the next year? Kidding, kidding. One thing had me wondering though. Was the game lagging because you were recording it, or was the game actually doing that, and you've (hopefully) fixed it? You make it sound as if it's the recording causing the lag, but I can't quite tell. Oh yeah, and level design. How's that going? How many do you have?

My computer can handle very good what I have at the moment, the animations are very fluid, it only lags sometimes when the machine is very busy or something, that's why the video is laggy, because of the recording, except the game crashes almost always for me, but i'm sure it's because of my video card don't worry.
I PMed some members to test the alpha version because I wasn't sure of the PC specifications required to play it, it happened that I was the one with the worse PC ^_^; one of the members could play it perfectly, except he didn't had any sound, no idea what was the reason. None of the other members experienced any crash or abnormality while playing.
About level design, I have planned 4 different areas for the first episode: 1) Tutorial ruin, similar to the tutorial in MML2 2) "Social area" (that's how I call it) some kind of town where the NPC's and shops are, there will be an important mission in this area, and many sub-quests, this area will be the place where the player should spend more time. 3) "Battleground area" it's a big area where the reaverbots will respawn "like hell" on this area the player can zenny farm faster in order to buy more upgrades and items, but the difficulty will be higher than normal. 4) "Ruin" the final ruin of the first episode, a lot harder than the tutorial ruin and with a final boss.
I'm currently working on improving the gameplay, physics, animations and such, I've already completed the tutorial ruin, but I won't start modelling the other areas yet, until I'm happy with the gameplay.
Speaking of that...

When I started this project, I planned in giving it a slightly different feeling from MML, then I added a melee function, very rustic and simple at that moment. Some time later, MML3 was announced, and when I read that it would feature a character that would use melee attacks I felt like if Capcom had stolen my idea, to be honest. (it's not a very innovative idea either now that I think about it) But watching those gameplay videos of how they implemented that function on their game helped me to improve my own melee feature even more. I love how those reaverbots fly away when Sera punch them, it's very fun to me, and I hope you think the same once you try it.

It wasn't mentioned before Truner, actually, some of the menus are just placeholders right now, I will design better looking ones in the future.
The lifebars switch places when selecting the other girl, the "inactive" girl's lifebar is always the smallest, I think there's no need to shade it, I found it clearly distinguishable, but I think it's a matter of personal preferences. As a plus, those circles on which the symbols are, are radars, they will flash when a reaverbot is near to one of the girls,
The textures are saved as .png with a very good quality. I temporally lowered the texture quality in Blender before taking that shot (I forgot to set a good quality to take it) because of my crappy computer as I mentioned before. The in game textures would look fine, with a decent quality, check the other pictures to compare the quality change.

Hello, umm... how you been guys? I was going to show you a couple of screenshots today but, I found that my CPU died, no idea what happened. Remember what I said about saving back-up files? forget it, I hadn't saved any the last two weeks, I still have my files, but a bit outdated so it's not a very big problem after all. I'll just let my CPU in the hands of my neighborhood hoping that he can fix it and save my current progress. Have a nice day!

Phew!... fortunately all my files are intact, I'm already creating 2 backup files just in case something ridiculous happen next. (I've lived long enough to experience many ridiculous obstacles in my way, and I'm only 19 years old!) Any way, here's the shot I've promised: Guess what's this...

That screenshot is awesome. The room looks almost Egyptian. I could see Yuna doing that spinning hair attack into that pile of Zakobons.

COmbos... combos.. COMBOS?
... ERm.. I dunno what to say erm... it's going to be hard to make a large Combo in this kind of game... I guess.
Can I suggest something? that huge CHAIN message made me remember something.. what about setting a specific place (let's say upper right corner that is always blank) for when a message shows up?
By message I mean minor stuff like that Combo, found items and objective.. you know.. fading in and fading out somewhere. I was about to say it should be above the character but I don't like that, on a corner of the screen sounds better.

Wow, those models look pretty damn sweet! My only gripe however, is with the textures, they look kinda low-res. Overall it's awesome work, Striker! I hope to see more screenshots soon.

This is so far so sick. God, I wish I knew what you are doing so that I could help you with the programming stuffs. Bleh, I guess I can critique on the aesthetics for now.
