I would suggest to put some color hue on that status screen so you can read it better. Kepp on keeping on brotha, we'll play it when it's done. It's probably the nicest looking fan game I've seen, you've done a great job with those models.

Hmm... shifting characters eh? Are you making idle animations for them? Because it would be very funny seeing Yuna yawning or Sera being all tough XD
Also... two characters hmm... CO-OP MODE? Nah just yelling random words... XD
What there is else to say... 3-combos are always nice, and... that's about it.... yeah. You leave me out of words.

Here are some shots of the lock-on in action: And here´s the status screen, I just changed the alpha to make it completely black. Does it look nice? or should I try with another color? @mega Tuga: When Yuna is in "rest mode" she looks around and then sits, I modified the animation a bit, and she can now yawn. What do you think about the lock-on cursor? is it nice or should I change the design? I´m listening people. ;D

I dig. The only thing that really bothers me (just by the slightest bit) is that the lock-on cursor's color is similar to the floor and background. That doesn't make the cursor unnoticeable; it's still big enough to distinguish. You could try a different color if you think you ought to, but the blending isn't noticeable enough to be a problem. The design itself is awesome. I have no real problems with the status screen coloring. Black's fine. Yuna's hair whip is looking good, by the way.

The color doesn't really matter, just so it's dark enough to see the text well. Also hair whipping? Awesome. I really like those buster shots and the lock-on. The buster shot remind me of what a certain gun fires in Vigilante 8.

Yay I made a (somewhat) useful suggestion!
Also I agree, the lock-on is perfectly fine, but you might just change for a color you will not use much.. like... yellow? I don't see many yellow in ruins... anyway ... but yellow doesn't look as cool.
But yeah, everything else is awesome.

Nothing new really except my signature. -I can tell that I´ve almost completed the characters moves, each special move which I call "Skill" in-game can be level-ed up to at least four levels. -"Training area" finished: the introductory ruin to explain the controls and such. There will be various type of maps, so I decided to "arrange" them on groups as follows: *"Social area" On this type of map can be found many NPC´s that will help you by giving you tips, and some will need help on sub-quests. (I´m planning some very special NPCs) Shops can be found here to buy items and upgrade your girls´s stats, no reaverbot encounters. *"Ruin" There are multiple reaverbot encounters as well as treasure chests, something important here is to take care of both girls (if one of them dies is game over) you must guide both girls to the elevator/exit to leave the area. *"Battle ground" Open field with reaverbots moving on the surface, all of them can respawn. This type of field is perfect to collect tons of Zenny needed to upgrade stats or buy items, however the difficulty will be higher. I think that´s all for the moment, I´ll try to post something more frecuently. EDIT: I´m seriously planning on writing in credits: "all the credit would be for capcom if they weren´t killed this series"

About the credit idea: No, that qualifies as hateful to many people. so that might not be a wise idea.
Just place credit were it is due, if you did all the work, then the credit is yours. Also credit the testers and vocalists as well.

I really like the 3D models of both Sera and Yuna. While in the style of the Legends series, they are definitely more polished.
As for the cursor, my only gripe would be the fact that it's almost the same colour as the background. While one can notice it in the screenshot, I think it might not be as obvious if we were to see the game in action; like having to fight a couple of reaverbots that move around too much.
Other than that, great job. Glad that it's still in-production.

Thanks for you comments, I made some upgrades since my last post, however I still have some little troubles, for example when there were more than one reaverbot every one would show a lock-on cursor, so I'll end up seeing two or three cursors at the same time, It's still noticeable which one was really locked on since the screen and the characters face in that direction, It's a glitch at the moment, but I found it pretty cool.
About its color, only the first ruin will be that color, in other areas I believe the cursor will be clearly visible.
And last, I upgraded my Blender from 2.49 to 2.50, it seems they decided to completely change the interface, hotkeys and the python API(?) so my current scripts aren't recognized by this version. The game is still playable but some things like the lock on cursor don't work anymore, I'm kind of happy that I didn't heavily programmed everthing with python, but that same script was used to make the player and camera face to the reaverbots and vice versa and the refractors to follow the player, maybe the cursor itself isn't working anymore, so there are some things that I need to reprogram. The new version of Blender is really cool so I don't think I should turn back to the previous version at least I can't solve this trouble.

I got two updates, one good and one bad, I'll tell you the bad first: I couldn't get to fix my scripts for blender 2.5 so I decided to go back with 2.49 so I installed it again, unfortunately, I saved some of my files using 2.5, when I tried to open them in 2.49 an error occurred and important information, such as animations went lost.
Good update: I learned from previous mistakes, and I saved some back ups of every file (I saved one on winrar on my documents, and the other is in my mp4 player, in case my computer gets formatted) so i'm back in the game, but I have to fix or re-do some stuff because that back up wasn't very recent.
As I stated before, I'm simplifying many things in order to make them work, once I get that thing to work I'll modify it later. Thanks for reading.
