I know that the question itself is outrageous and I know that most readers will reply with "NO!!!" just after reading the subject. It's okay if you want to call me lunatic or crazy for this, but I really want someone to prove if this is just a rumor or truth.
So, I guess at least six years ago, when my PSOne was still functioning and we were still struggling with dial-up, I got into the habit of frequenting Gamefaqs just to read walkthroughs and FAQs of games I play. So as I read the side-quests section of a FAQ or the cheats tab for MML2, I stumbled upon something interesting.
I. The info says that if you talk to the man at the post office at least 100 times (I forgot if you can do this as early as going to the Junk Shop with Roll), he'll get annoyed and give you a part of some sort that will allow Megaman to charge his buster gun. I didn't quite get it when I stumbled upon it and I never found that info again when I want to clarify it. I wasn't able to try this method based on what I can remember (which is pretty much this).
II. A year later, I asked my friend about this and he told me that sometimes in the ruins, when I enter a room which has a different design than the typical (like the room where you fought Bola in Manda Ruins or perhaps the boss rooms), some humanoid reaverbot (like a Guard Joe or something) would drop down from the ceiling and you have to fight it.
When you beat it, it'll leave behind it's buster gun (he didn't say if you had to bring it to Roll first) and that's the part that will allow you to charge your buster (he even said that the shot can get as big as Megaman himself, which is something I knew better than to believe whole-heartedly). The thing didn't show up in all the times I did what he said and I was later on doubting if what he said was true all along.
So those are what I've heard. I know the second is less likely to be true but I'm not ruling it out. Perhaps it was just because I stumbled upon method no. 1 at 6:00 - 7:00 am and my sleepiness (at having just woke up) caused me to hallucinate the whole thing.
But I know I didn't dream about this and I think I'm prepared for what might happen here.
