Hello Legends fans! I have long been a fan of the series and have recently decided to make an attempt to partially/fully recreate at least the first Megaman Legends Game in LittleBigPlanet! For anyone who doesn't know, LittleBigPlanet is a great game in which users have the option to create their own advanced levels for others to play. For more info about the game head here - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LittleBigPlanetAnyways, the reason I've come here to tell you this is that I need YOUR HELP! In order to make this project the best it can be, I need any ideas and suggestions you guys can think of! Also, it would be greatly appreciated if one or more of you could provide pictures of some of the major enemies, bosses and locations in MML so I can recreate it to it's fullest! This project is just going underway, and is far from complete, so it will be awhile before it is done. If you want to contact me personally, you can shoot me an email at "hoganster@hotmail.com" and I will get back to you ASAP. Also, if anyone has a PSN account, I will gladly accept friend requests of those wishing to help. (My PSN ID is Smokeeye123). I will be giving you guys updates frequently VIA the forums, so keep an eye out for any new developments. (^_^)b Topic edited by EC - 2009-08-15

Hey I'll send you a PSN friend invite. I tried to recreate the first episode of Trigun and it didn't turn out how I'd hoped so I can sympathize. I'd love to help you out any way I can. Have you seen the Tutorial videos for the switches and stuff? Watch it here I wish I knew this stuff when I made my level. Pretty simple solution to hard problems I had.

Hey thanks, Darfox8 I'll be sure to watch those videos when I get the chance. I am fairly familiar with the switches and their purposes. But, I'd still surely need practice in creating elaborate machines or bosses. I'm still planning how to setup everything. It stinks that they have not patched in online creation...If/when they do, I would love to have some guys from the forums help me construct the level(s) directly.

So are you doing one big level that sums up the whole game or a bunch of levels that copy the game more closely? Because if your doing multiple levels you can spread out the duty with other creators. Kinda like Neogaf did with Little Big Contra.

So are you doing one big level that sums up the whole game or a bunch of levels that copy the game more closely? Because if your doing multiple levels you can spread out the duty with other creators. Kinda like Neogaf did with Little Big Contra. Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile...I went camping for the week, so no work was done. Anyways, I was planning to do a bunch of levels to more accurately model the game(s). Most likely one/two major bosses a level. Right now, I'm just creating objects, enemies, and even some early boss prototypes to place in later levels. As for other people doing levels, I'm definitely up for that. Although, I'm not sure what exact place in the series I'm going to create a level for yet, and I want to make sure any other levels don't duplicate each other. Hopefully before the summer is over, they release online creation so some of us can cooperatively work on it. Anyways, I'll go take some pictures of the stuff I've made... I'm not exactly sure how to post pictures on this site, but I will figure it out...Expect some tonight! =D

UPDATE
Hey Guys/Gals, just a quick update on the progress of the Project. I've created Prototypes of some of the machines/bosses that will be in the levels. Keep in mind all of the things shown are far from done. The only thing not shown that I have done are the Blumebears. I would deeply appreciate any suggestions and comments you have about the progress so far. P.S, sorry about the bad quality. Thanks! Drache PrototypeBon Bonne Prototype Balcon Gelede Prototype

Beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing a Gesselschaft! I've seen someone do a giant flying dragon in LBP so I'm sure you can put together a giant flying Gesselschaft.
What about the levels? Would they resemble Kattelox areas?

Would they resemble Kattelox areas?Yup, hopefully the background scenery will look identical to the ones in-game. I just have to closely replicate it by building it in create mode. As for the character models, i was thinking of taking Pictures of them with a Playstation Eye and pasting them into the levels during the necessary parts...I would of course have to buy a playstation eye first though... And about the Gesselschaft, yup I'm definitely planning on creating it and having it be a giant boss battle...(Fokkerwolf and Draches included), however, next on the "To do list" is the Marlwolf and Flutter. Whenever I create a few more things, I will post them up for you guys to see and give feedback on. Hopefully when the first level is done, I can have someone videotape it and post it on youtube for everyone to see. ;D

Kattelox Hospital nurses? Nope, even Better! UPDATE!!!Scrap Ship from MML... Foo-Roo, Jacko and Nest (Behind the scenes mode)...Don't ask about the random mouth on the Nest, it has a purpose... The FlutterKTOX TV Ship (with a random pile of Mirocs to the left of it)And Finally... The Gesellschaft!I apologize for the craptacular quality of some of the images, but I hope you can get the general gist of things. Hopefully when the level is complete I can just take a video and upload it to youtube for everyone to experience in its entirety. Expect the next update by the weekend in which, will most likely include a Karunuma Bash Reaverbot, Megaman/Roll's ship + car, a Zakobon, and many other things. P.S, if you happen to stumble upon a perfect side view of major reaverbots/characters/machines in the game please message me about it. I've basically been only building the things that I can find "2D ish pictures of. Thanks! - Smoke

That is just awesome. Great job, buddy.
Too bad I don't have a PS3, but I will spread word about this level if you finish it.
Keep up the cool work.

O_____O That looks pretty freaking cool. Awesome work so far. (Do Yuna?) Unfortunately I too belong to the “I can't ever play this because I don't own a PS3” Club. Still, very nifty.
