Bwahaha, the Sonic fans rise!
Actually, I've almost completely left the Sonic fandom in my pursuit of the Legends fandom. I still play the games and check out the SSMB once in a while, but the only thing I really like about the Sonic series anymore is it's normally awesome music; Crush 40 got me into music as a child, and I've been a metal head ever since.

Rimblemenji getting pwned!
Just uploaded this, so I figured I'd post it here; it's a pretty good example of how to fight him in general. What makes this even more ironic is my choice of music (relates to Sonic fans).
If I remember correctly, there were some anti-ice shoes in MML2, right? That would be good in a fight against him. Cleated Shoes are the ones I think you're talking about, and yesm they are a necessity. The last thing you want is to have a lack of traction while trying to fight a boss.
(I love your namings of the attacks btw Buster Cannon) Thanks! Most attacks in the game have no official name, so I just try to spice things up a bit by adding my own.

That Video Was awesome! I almost fell out of my seat laughing due to your choice of music! Do the others have music set to them too?

The reason I chose that track was because the Rimblemenji fight reminds me of the Biolizard fight; you're constantly moving, you're fighting a really creepy enemy, not to mention the both of them taking place in a rather dank environment. Glad you enjoyed it, though! ;D

Just a side note, why is it that almost every video game series has some large ball of gel for an enemy? - MML2: Rimblemenji
- Advance Wars Dual Strike: Oozium
- Kirby 64: Those blue liquid enemies on Neo or Ripple Star
- Sonic Adventure: Chaos
But Yes, Rimblemenji tops them all. When I was younger I spent long periods of time searching for pictures of it (calling it Megaman Legends 2 Fourth Ruin boss, I didnt know it as Rimblemenji) Don't forget Mega ManX1's Thunder Slimer

Don't forget Mega ManX1's Thunder Slimer Oh yeah, that's likely where they got the idea from MMX1 EDIT: *to self more than anyone here* Ha, so that's how you change the font!

Don't forget Mega ManX1's Thunder Slimer I completely forgot about that thing; it more closely resemble Rimblemenji than any other boss in the series. Of course, Rimblemenji doesn't shoot lightning, but their movement is very similar.

This is a crazy bump, I'm sure, but while I was cleaning I found a bit I wrote in 2001 about Rimblemenji and its attack strategies with illustrations, and thought you all would find it amusing. Especially Buster Cannon since I analyzed that boss before Boss Analysis was even a thing.
I got stuck at the Calinca Ruins boss. That thing is creepy! It looks like this: Yeah, my handwriting was so bad when I was a kid that I typed over it to ensure maximum legibility! That's it. It's very, very fast, despite being a big glob with a floaty head-ball inside it. It's attacks are when it makes itself real tall while standing in the middle of the room, then smooshing itself down like a pancake. Another is when it goes to the middle again, stays there while green platforms appear, and you have to jump onto a platform while it jolts the floor and fact: those platforms are icy. And slippery. And if you're on the floor, you go numb. Paralyzed. And your energy drains. Mega Man doesn't like the cold. Where I got myself killed was when the glob's head turned all red and it became invincible until it pancaked itself. You had to shoot the head while the body was flat. It looked like a fried, sunny side up egg. Except more dangerous, I think I'm probably gonna have nightmares about that boss... I found out something good about the weird jello boss, though. When you use your homing missiles against it, you can shoot at it while it's invincible, and when that platform thing happens, you stay on the low ones, as close as you can to the boss. It will shoot gobs of jello-stuff at you and quickly regain some (not all) health. It freaks my best friend out too. It's hard to beat, that's what freaks me out now. When I finally beat it I didn't get hit even once!
...I guess I'd call that a 3 out of 10 for making me think I would get nightmares about it and freaking out my best friend.

But anyway, I never liked Rimblemenji.... it seemed very cliche to me even as a child. "Oooh its a big blob! I bet it flattens out to hit just about everything in the arena! oooh!" and such mockery went through my mind. However, it IS following in the tradition of the classic series [colored] Demon enemies.

@ Dashe Oh wow, that's actually pretty well-written. We could have tag-teamed the reviews had I known you were so good at this. Where I got myself killed was when the glob's head turned all red and it became invincible until it pancaked itself. You had to shoot the head while the body was flat. It looked like a fried, sunny side up egg. This part had me rolling! It also ensured that I'll never look at my bacon & eggs the same way again.

Yeah, I really wish I'd written about the other bosses too, especially since I didn't know any of their names back then except Blitzkrieg. The whole thing reminds me of that one set of really weird sub-gate entries in TLT. Rimblemenji was just special like that.
