Hiya. It's always called a Horokko. “Zakobon” is a pet name given to a specific one found in DASH 1. EDIT: Apparently, I missed something. Horokko(Zakobon) - At first it seemed like "Zakobon" was just a misinterpretation of in-game text. You know in the Legends1 Junk Store there's a stuffed one of these Reaverbots on display in the shop? Zakobon is just the name the owners of the Junk Store give it in the Japanese version, which is changed to "Rover" in the english version. In other words "Zakobon" doesn't refer to the enemy in general, it's just the specific one in the Junk Shop. However, the glossary also mentions Zakobon was going to be the enemy's name in the development stages, and that the rejected name just survives through the Junk Store reference. No clues on meaning of "Horokko", but "Zako" means "small fry" in Japanese, and a lot of the Japanese sites I've seen have put the smaller Reaverbots in a category marked by that word. raijin was cool.. I wonder what ever happened to him.

I've died to fire and ice Horrokos before, but never to a normal one or regular Zakobon in MML1. I might have died to the fire ball shooting ones but I can't remember. MML2 was definitely harder, but you should have added Misadventures' to the poll. That, in my opinion was challenging on so many different levels, given the amount of variety in the game. Choose your pick. Either is apparently fine, read edit.

Yeaaahr.. sorry about that. If you died to a Horokko, you died to a Zakobon and vice versa; that much hasn't changed. The name is just slightly more official than I thought. EDIT: B-R-E-T, if you like that, check out the topic. Lots of fun stuff in there.

What you got killed by does not count as a zabokan, this name refers to a very weak version of the horokko found in MML1. The ice horokkos are much tougher and that room is yet another reason that MML2 is indisputably harder. By the way I have been killed once by a zabokan after getting all of my shield knocked away the first time I "discovered " the Hanmuru Doll. I've also been killed a couple times in MML1 by the Fire Horokkos by jet skating by as they shot around corners.

Although, the "Glued-to-floor-effect" of Lock-On in the first one makes it harder to use some of the weapons, although that can be argued as the fact that Legends1 was the first one, so it wouldn't have all the features of the second one. Personally, I've blown through about a third of the game in one afternoon's worth, although i do skip alot of upgrades
