I like the site. The main site that is. I would not like it closed because all these years spent on research and resource gathering of the games just to be wasted because there are no signs of an update sounds almost idiotic.
No one can do a continuation of the megaman legends series because it's a deep game with a solid storyline that makes sense in all of it's aspects, is colorful and it was made with love, it's not just a simple "HAY GUISE I FOUND THE ULTIMATE CHIP OF DOOM WICH ALLOWS ME TO PWN MY RIVALS LOLOLOLLOLOLOloo, sdlaskflcavnsl" that are all of the other megaman games. It's not a 'slash and dash' game, is a game that tests your exploration skills and general knowledge of the world, besides of having the first 3D action the megaman series ever had until they made the X series a bunch of GAY characters trying to play the 3D guys.
And although there's still no continuation, fans makes their effort making what they can to keep it alive, like "Launch the Draches", or "Roll's quest for monies!" Those were excellent fan made games and they succeded in making more people lean to discover the truth behing all the crap that has been said about the legends games. Fanworks and their influence is what makes people start to like something, and we know what Capcom does when they see a lot of fans liking something at once: they release continuations. That's why we must have a lot of patience for it to work.
And about the forums, if it was suddenly deleted i wouldn't notice nor care. There are more legends forums and organizations that are more active and cooler than this one, i'm just concerned about the site itself, not the forums. That's all.
EDIT: Heh, looks like the forum's opinions about the matter are almost balanced.

First off, how dare you guys waking me from the dead. I was a perfectly fine lurker until now.
Second, stop getting so emo and whiny. Come back in 10 years and complain if you haven't heard a single thing about Megaman Legends/Rockman Dash within that time frame. You have nothing to complain about. The Dash series in Japan is still alive and known in recent games.
Now, on the forums issue, I lurk these forums everyday for new information on such as the hacking or bug/glitching topics. I'm not interested in the "who is better" or "(insert something not Megaman Legends-related)" topics. I occasionally comment in my beloved subjects. It's quite interesting that it's been a few years since the last game came out and people are still finding little hidden secrets here and there. You can't get that sort of instant new info with just a website. That is just too slow and time consuming. Forums allow anybody to post their recent finds. It's just the way to go.

OH! I thought the thread title was the poll question, so I voted no to the real question "Is Legends-Station worth having anymore?" so ignore that. It should have been yes.

I love your sig so much breakman =((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))((((((((((((()()() Welcome to the club! I'm happy whenever somebody says they love it. If only I was clever 24/7... It looks like nearly everyone who said "no" in the poll actually meant to vote "yes." That's a relief. You guys were starting to scare me...

"Is Legends-Station worth having anymore?"Nah, if Legends 3 isn't coming then we might as well get rid of all the content. It's obvious that nobody here ever cared about those three games of the series anyway, we all only got into Legends because we wanted the thrill of waiting around for years and years in anticipation of a game. "Should we pull the plug?"Yes! Everyone, please vote to pull the plug so that the site will magically disappear off of the web. Democracy rules, we have the power! </sarcasm and laughter> Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but the concept of this topic cracks me up. Even if Legends 3 never comes, that's somehow a reason to take away the greatest collection of Legends info and media on the web, and dump all the hard work poured into it over the last 5+ years down the toilet? What's more, where in the world did anyone get the impression that it's "all circling around the eventual release of Legends 3"? Legends Station's goal was to be a complete coverage site in honor of the series; It's the site I was looking for back at the end of 2001 and couldn't find. When MMLS opened, people were already complaining that the series wasn't getting any new games, but that didn't stop me from making the site. Legends 3 would be great someday and though I've been hopeful for its arrival, it's never been something that's fueled or inspired the creation of Legends Station. The actual poll question is even better! I own, made, and put together 95% of the main site myself. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that gives me exclusive say on whenever/if ever the proverbial plug is to be pulled. So... either there shouldn't have been a poll, or it should have asked "Should fab pull the plug?" I'll have you know you made my day with that one. *tosses brownie points to Green* I can understand that interest in the main site will continue to wane with the passing of time, but that doesn't change the fact that the forums are a part of that site, rather than the site being some side dish that goes with the forums. So many people seem to forget that. Anybody can start up a message board/forum. The main site is what gives this place a firm backbone, and is what attracted so many people here in the first place, many of whom in turn made this forum the great place that it is. Says I.

I voted "No" and should have said "Yes" as well.
And there's nothing I can say right now that's already been put into the open.

Since voting in the pole seems to beget the opposite of what we want, I won't vote in it, but I will say this- Pull the plug on this site? If you pardon my plainspeaking... are you all out of your stark raving minds?! (I always wanted to say that. ) I've been on a few forums these past couple years, and let me tell you folks something: this is one of the best places I've seen- so many interesting people, the unusually large collection of subjects and a great many of the people here are a lot more mature that I've seen in other places. Even if there won't be a MML 3 anytime soon, I like this site. I've never been part of a community that will allow such silly things as finding ways to destroy cars and making pointless, baseless lies about everyone, insult and threaten each other in rhyme, and it would be all in good fun ;D. Yeah, even if there are better places than this, it's the forums I've come to enjoy here, and I Like it that way.

If it was not for Legends Station, I could have forgotten my love for this series.
The extensive archive of screenshots, information and so forth... it feels like a bad waste if it is to be abandoned.
