Wow, it's already my third year here! I joined on Mar 16, 2005 at 10:35am. I joined in my freshman year of high school. I rarely post now days. If anything, they aren't Legends related! How shameful. Well, I guess that's because whatever I know, everyone else knows a little more.

Well, congrats, RockMan. Remember me? Yeah, I joined back before I was even IN high school. I think I was still in eighth or ninth grade!
Yeah, I've gotten to the point where I rarely post, too. MMLS still has a place in my heart, though. I think it's starting to gain the same nostalgia factor as the actual games have.

'Course I remember you Anti-Jump Springs! How could I forget your Blumebear obsession and all of your witty posts? Looks like you've first joined three years ago as well. You know, I have a feeling that I'll be hanging around this forum until I die! Or at least until this forum's death (That better not happen. >_> . I mean, I check this place nearly everyday, so this site has been encoded into my long term memory, and one of my favorite relaxing pastimes is posting on forums. ;D

That time of year already? Yes it is: Today commemorates my 2nd year joining this forum. MMLS is one of those places I'll look back on with many a good memories: Discussing what the heck's up with Elysium, joining Rage's 'Militia', trading cutting insults with Four in my own insult sword fighting thread, and testing my skills in the recent Brawl thread with Mlt, Jorsh, and the others. I like it here, indeed I do. Here's to hoping the next few years will bring memories just as good, if not, better.

Wow. I'm currently starting on Year 4. And in Harry Potter terms, that puts me at a little over halfway done! XD In MMLS terms, that means next year is going to be my five-year anniversary here!

Hm. Well, I might as well join in. I joined the same year that Rockman and AJS joined (I'm younger than Rockman but older than AJS, lol), and this August will be my 3rd year anniversary. I'm particularly fond of Legends Station since it's the first forums board I ever joined, and I'm glad I chose this one. I was pretty silent at the beginning, I even ignored a welcoming posts in the introduction thread (sorry about that, Green ), although that was unintentional, and I even stopped coming for a few months, but after I started to get the hang of things, I became a more frequent poster. I haven't really posted much as of recently, this is due to a few factors (most noticeably the loss of an Internet connection on my family computer and work at school), but I still check the place fervently. I hope to be making several fond memories here as well.

Ah yes. I actually learned more posting skills here, such as not SPAMming and instead making my posts as meaningful as I can. I also learned more typing and forum code ({url}{/url}, etc.) skills. Speaking of the Militia, what happened to it? That is one of my favorite memories about this place.

See? See? The forum rules do help people become better posters! [/endshamelessselfadvertisement] Some chump named Dashe forgot to make a map of the fifth floor of Coke Sun 3 Oz only knows how long ago. If you bug her about it she'll probably do something like curse her homework.

I want to join, too! xD I can't believe that I'm also on my fourth year at MMLS. I joined February of 2004...that was so long ago, but I still visit everyday >=D I've never posted much around here compared to everyone else. I like to keep to myself most of the time, even after being here for so long. Huh. Except I would always post in the caption contest back in the day...now that is my favourite memory of this place. Good times.

Bah, speaking of caption contest, sorry it...died. I'm thinking of reviving it, but doing the MMLS and MMLU parts separately, because, frankly, I get a maximum of three captions over there.

Yeah, I believe June something-ith 2004. I want to say the sixth. I'm Pitch. You can't be here and not see one of my posts somewhere. How come you changed users? Is there like a post limit?

It's complicated..
A bit of history... : it had to do with my reaction to a (melo)dramatic topic quoting a conversation between myself and another member involving an exaggeration regarding certain boards on these forums and the amount of activity therein(and its effect on the overall status of the forums), and the way people responded to said topic before I'd even had time to pop in for the day. It was terrible error in judgment on my part that I can only justify by saying "Well, you kind of had to be there..," and it ended with my deleting my account and leaving the forums. The new account (this one) was created two months afterward, after certain emotions had settled, and I stayed here incognito for about a month or so before I revealed my identity to everybody again.
Back then I didn't quite realize that I could re-open my old account by simply recreating it, so I stayed in this account, and eventually set the display name back to normal. After yet another, more serious departure during which I completely abandoned my old user handle("Pitch") and adopted this new one, I eventually returned, semicognito under this username, hoping to spare everyone the drama involved in a return topic. (by the time people figured out it was me, I'd already been back a while, so they shrugged, and went on with their lives ) For the sake of accuracy, this account was not deleted then, and I resumed posting in this account afterward, however, I did delete and recreate this account to adjust otherwise unadjustable profile info at some point.
Ah.. internet drama.
Am I at 4 years now? I can't remember..I think so. I dunno how to figure it what with all the time I've been "gone." Ah well.

I just now noticed I've been here a year now, and it's been a lot of fun even though I don't post that often, I enjoy reading all the topics here, and finding out new things about legends, not to mention the nice members here, I've actually made a habit out of checking the forums everyday.

Let's see here, I joined these forums in November 2004, which means I'll hit the 4-year mark in a couple of months.
I actually dissapeared for quite a while, and came back recently, a couple months ago actually. I'm not exactly sure why I did in the first place, it might of had something to do with the place changing around a lot. It was probably around 2006, although I made a few posts here and there. Anyway, I did miss quite a bit, I didn't even notice Dashe was the admin until maybe a couple days afterward.
I'd probably say my best memories of this place are the Caption Contest, the String Story (wonder why that died, that was fun), the people, and pretty much everything else. This is pretty much my all around favorite forum.

It's been 4 years since I first joined the Legends Station forums..... it's hard not think of a comment without thinking how that makes one feel old... So much has happened this past year: I get my Associate's degree in History, started an artwork thread, and opened up a bit to few of the members here (there's more, but I can't think of much at the moment)..... It's pretty humbling when I think back on how different things were in the beginning- I was so quiet and reserved.... There's quite a few things on the horizon for me. But as I reflect on this moment, I still think back fondly on those times. I really like it here, and the people are so good, I hope I'm lucky to enough to enjoy more years at the LS forums, so there isn't much more I can say except: 8-)Cheers to you all! *toasts with a cappuccino*
