I discovered Bob and george recently, and I've fallen in love with it. I managed to read five years in a few weeks. I used to read vg cats, and the writing is clever, but its just so darn vulgar and explicit, too much for my tastes, so now I stick with F@NBOY$, it still has the same clever humour based on video games, and its a lot cleaner. Here's the link: fanboys-online.com/ (I couldn't figure out how to insert the link into the name)

Yeah, those are the ones I usually skip over. There's a good comic hidden in there.

I personally read Ctrl+Alt+Del and The Noob. The Noob is entertaining since the entire webcomic is a long line of stereotypical MMO jokes and specific references.

Has nobody remembered Penny Arcade? One of the best webcomics out there.

For me? Lackadaisy. I found out about it via DeviantArt. It doesn’t have quite the screwball factor of, say, 8-Bit Theater or VG Cats, and it doesn’t update nearly as frequently, but I like the art and the writing. I was also impressed by the panel layout. Not that I’m exactly a connoisseur in the area of comic strips, but it was the first time I saw such a... liberal style. Some of the other ones here look interesting though... I’ll have to check them out when I have the chance.

San: san.pengguo.com/ and Bob and George are my favorites. One is complete and the other is still in progress.

Hm, seems my taste in webcomics has changed over the course of a few years. These days, the only webcomic I actively follow is Brawl in the Family, a (mainly) Nintendo character-based comic. It's mostly a gag comic, but occasionally there are very well-crafted story arcs. Occasionally I check out Darths and Droids,a reimagining of Star Wars if it was some guy's sci-fi Dungeons and Dragon campaign and the movies never existed.

Manly Guys doing Manly Things is my favorite now. Bookmarked. I'll have to check out Darths and droids, sounds interesting.

I regularly read xkcd, CTRL+ALT+DEL and QuestionableContent, myself.. I strongly recommend reading through xkcd, because that comic is a gem; Randall Munroe is a clever, clever dude. CTRL+ALT+DEL hasn't been good in years. I don't even know if the author is writing comics as part of the plot-line any more — every time I read it it's always unrelated filler, and it seems any shred of a plot-line only lasts a few weeks at most. But I keep hoping it will go somewhere one of these days.. QuestionableContent was a phun read, but it's incredibly slow paced, so following in real time now is frustrating. I'd also like to toss out a recommendation for Roomies!/“It's Walky!”. Gotta love a comic that can start as random college humor then randomly change into a big complicated plot about secret government organizations and fighting aliens. It's pretty phun to read, and it's quite long, so it's good for filling several uneventful afternoons. I think all of these have some vulgarity in them at some point, so reader beware.
