Two topics created in one day..... geeze, I feel like such a SPAMmer... >_<
This is a discussion to help people who are developing fancharacters, or just to help people to improve their already exsisting characters.
It could also help others begin to create characters, maybe inspire some? I dunno.
There's no specific format to follow.... just do whatever you want.
Oh, and please put what sort of thing you're trying to improve about your character(s), as an extra measure to prevent flame-wars.
Okay.... the real reason behind this topic? I like reading about fancharacters...... T3T
and.... I'll post mine later, because I'd like to see if other people are gonna participate first.#nosmileys

All right, this isn't a new character, but...
Prince Gary
Species: Human Age: 18 Hair: Black Eyes: Blue Height: 5'10" Job: Prince of Garrdan Island, occasional Digging Likes: Tron Bonne, Aquamarine Hates: MegaMan Trigger, Not getting his own way, Teisel Bonne, Bon Bonne, MegaMan Juno Hobbies: Reaverbot repair (see "Guelly"), wedding planner Bio: After a failed kidnap attempt, the point of which being marriage to Tron, Gary decided to get his revenge on MegaMan Trigger, but was unable. Fortunately, his aunt, Alaine Garrdan, took care of things for him.
Quackard
Species: Birdbot Model ZG-32 Age: Eighteen Months Hair: None (does have a few feathers) Eyes: Beady and Black Job: Technically none Likes: Roll, money Hates: When Dantz is an idiot (which is most of the time, alas), Conscience Chip Hobbies: gambling (but rarely wins) Bio: After a failed attack on the Flutter, a Birdbot was repaired and re-programmed by Roll Casket. Re-named "Quackard," he is the penultimate achievement in Birdbot technology...at least, he thinks so. However, aside from a particular fondness for Roll, hamburgers, and something less of a penchant for thievery, little has changed in his basic personality. His Conscience Chip acts up when he needs to make a moral decision (which tends to be at the least convenient of times!).

Quakard is awesome, man.... n.n
Here's the first of mine that I'll put up (I actually have 4 now... o.o):
Name: Cerberus (you'll see why) Age: Appears to be around 15-17 Gender: Male Eye color: gray Hair color: black
Long ago, Cerberus was a huge, 3-headed dog Reaverbot who guarded a huge gate in Elysium. However, he was exiled for a crime he didn't know he committed. ((he thought he was helping his friends)).
In the end, he was forced into a human body and sent to Terra to serve his exile....
His Reaverbot form was locked away, and he searches Terra for it, oblivious to the fact that it was locked inside him.
I'll add more characters later, and Cerberus will make more and more sense.... #nosmileys

Well, this is and exerpt from MegaMan Dark Days, an RP I did a long time ago. My character is obviously Fenril, BTW.
I created that when we first started. Then I revealed lots of info about his past later on in Dark Days. This next part is just pasted from Dark Days.
MegaMan: Right. But before we go on, can you tell me more about who you are? I have some doubts about you, even though you've helped me many times. Why exactly are you helping me? Fenril: Well...maybe. *Fenril looks around, and starts thinking to see if everyone else is out of earshot. He then started in a whisper.* Fenril: Very well, I will. Approximately 5000 years ago, I was living on a planet named Gaea. MegaMan: What?! You're 5000 years old and from another planet?!
Fenril: Yes, now I ask that you don't interrupt or I'll never finish my story. Anyways, my god, Peleor, had come to me and asked me to find a woman to be his wife. "She should be beautiful, dependable, and shall always love me," he said. Thus, he entrusted me to find such a woman. For an entire year I had searched, almost losing hope. Then I found a woman named Ifalna. She was everything Peleor had asked of me to find for him, and I called out, "Peleor! I have found the perfect match!" Peleor came down from the heavens and very well agreed with my decision. He was so pleased with me that he asked me to name my price.
"Whatever you want, it will be yours," he said. I pondered the question for ten minutes. Then I came up with a conclusion. "I wish for some ambrosia, my Lord. Please let me have some and grant me eternal life." Peleor had been struck by me courage, but did not back down on his word. And so, I have been living for the last 5000 years. For the first 4,500 years, I had trained my body and my mind. I had become skilled in many arts, including combat, science, and technology. With such great knowledge and power at my command, I could do just about anything. So then, I created my three most valuable possessions. My first possession is the armor that I am now wearing. It is of the finest technology in the universe. Even my own, most powerful skills and magic cannot penetrate it. My second possession is this, my Beam Morph Weapon (also called the BMW). It can morph into any weapon in any shape that I can imagine. The third is my spacecraft, which I can travel all around the universe in. It can move at 9 times the speed of sound and runs off of Elerium-115. The Elysium is an incredibly efficient element which provides tremendous amounts of power with just a small amount of mineral. Right now, my space ship, called the Nova Flare, is hidden inside my armor. I can push a button on the side of the ship and it turns into a hand-held capsule which I can carry with me anywhere I go.
MegaMan: Wow, that's quite a story. So what have you been doing for the last 500 years? *Fenril now pauses to check if anyone is nearby. He detects no one, so he continues.* Fenril: With my Nova Flare, I have been traveling around the universe to see if anyone has achieved greater power than mine. I have searched endlessly, but have found no one. My latest stop has been this planet, Terra. I have heard stories about your exploits, MegaMan, and decided that you were worth looking into.
***
I'll cut it off there. Parts after that flowed into the main story of Dark Days. I'll give even more ifno on the next post.
BMW Background The BMW looks kinda like Zero's sword (MMX series) when not in use. It has a hole in both the top and bottom, though, because depending on the weapon, the weapon can come out of both ends (ex. staff, double sword, spear, etc.) The BMW is obviously of the highest level of technology, combining machine and magic. The machine part emits a beam from one or both ends, and magic shapes the weapon to whatever Fenril thinks of (otherwise, if Fenril doesn't use his magic to shape the weapon, light beams will come out and not form any shape.)
Nova Flare Info The Nova Flare is an all-purpose space vehicle. It is shaped like something out of F-Zero (hover capabilities, BIG jets in the back, and a cockpit with a curved roof (which is pitch-black on the outside). It can change its size so the interior can be roomier or smaller. It's smaller than half the size of the Star Trek Enterprise, which is still a pretty good sized ship.
Background: Fenril's Armor Fenril's armor is made of a special alloy between mythril, orichalcum, and meteorite. The mythril makes the armor virtually weightless, just like ordinary clothes. The orichalcum part makes the armor very resistant to outside magical forces, but enhances Fenril's own spell casting abilities. The meteorite portion makes the armor extremely durable to physical attacks. The combination of all three metals creates a perfect defense and produces great results even when the metal is very thin. Fenril's armor's thickness is pretty thin, as to not be bulky and not hinder his movements. But that is just the outer shell of the armor. Underneath the shell is a computer system, which mostly keeps his body temperature at its normal temperature. There are parts of the armor places in certain points that react to commands from his mind. For instance, Fenril can think of making wings on his back, and his armor will make wings. The wings, in this case, fold out like a beetle's wings, except that the actual wing part is missing. Instead, there are jets on the half-spherical beetle-like wings. These jets allow Fenril to travel at supersonic speeds, but he rarely uses them unless he is traveling great distances while his Nova Flare is in its capsule form.
Another neat feature on his armor is the soles of his feet. Fenril is naturally a stealthy person, so the soles have hover jets. These don't have enough power to make him fly, but instead, they make it so his footsteps make no sound. Fenril can fly using his own powers, though, so the lack of power is made up for by his own abilities. They also provide a cushion for his feet so he can walk for miles without feeling pain in his feet.
The last feature of his armor is his helmet. The helmet, as you know, has a visor that covers most of Fenril's face. This is actually a special monitor and Fenril can give it various commands. Such commands are the weakness searches, body heat scans, DNA blueprints, and being able to see in the dark. Some commands work automatically. Such abilities are scanning everyone he meets to get a personal profile and being able to tell when someone is behind him. When Fenril enters the Nova Flare, these profiles are automatically stored in the main computer's database. Fenril's helmet can store 100 profiles at one time and 10 DNA blueprints.

Well, here are some old characters I thought up several years ago. I’ve adapted them for the Legends universe. They may be average, but I created them back in my early days and I’ve kept them ever since. I’ve adapted them for many a story idea. There is one more, but my space is limited. ______________________ ArtimusSpecies: Human Age: 53 Sex: Male Hair: Blonde Eyes: Blue Height: 6'1" Job: Spotter, airship designer Likes: airships, old fashioned melee weaponry, and the study of ancient technology. Hates: Busters, uneducated people, and hot climates Hobbies: Designing airships, exploring, and collecting ancient technology. Dream: To unravel the ancients’ knowledge and get the Sky Clad 2 to work. Bio An old friend of Barrel and Bleucher. The three of them used to be an expert team of diggers. Bleucher and Barrel did most of the digging as Artimus’ dislike of busters and armor led to several near-death experiences for the trio. He served as the spotter and did maintenance on their weaponry. As of recent, he spends most of his time salvaging what he can from the ruins so that he can study it. He used some of his salvaged parts to construct Bleucher’s Sulpher-Bottom, and he hopes to be able to use the parts to make a flying fortress of sorts, which was his childhood dream. He came close to fulfilling his dream when he built the second Sky Clad, but unfortunately he doesn't have enough refractors to keep the airship running for long periods of time. He still works as a spotter for his new partner, Atla. He does occasionally go on digs. During these digs he wears a special coat of sorts that he made using ancient technology, a sword he combined with photon technology, and, although he dislikes guns, he does carry his trusty pistol, the varista, that Atla gave him. His armor uses nano technology to make the thin cloth as durable as armor, but it is only a prototype and it can only handle so much punishment before it tears like simple cloth. Overall, the coat is weaker than average armor, but it is more resistant to plasma based weaponry and plasma energy (fire and lightning). The sword is powerful, but its power source is unstable and often dies at the worst times. Upon Bleucher’s request, he has been researching how to make an airship able to make it to space and back in one piece. He tends to be judgmental of those who he doesn’t know, and has always been at odds with Barrel’s granddaughter, Roll. He also comes across as cold and stuck up to those who don’t know him, but he tends to be friendly and warm towards those who do. He likes to help out when he can, but he has a habit of complaining about the task even if he chose to do it of his own free will. He is only slightly younger than Bleucher, but oddly enough he still appears as youthful as he did in his late 20s and early 30s. My notes on him: First, I know that Artimus is supposed to be spelled Artemis, but after nearly five years of misspelling it I just don’t like it the other way. Besides, since Artemis refers to a goddess it seems more feminine than Artimus. The varista was a handgun from PSO that served as my main weapon during boss battles (I used my G. Assassin’s Arms for the common grunts). I beat both the Episode 1 and Episode two final bosses with it. ____________________________ AtlaSpecies: Human Age: 19 Sex: Female Hair: Blonde Eyes: Blue Height: 5'7" Job: Digger Likes: Artimus, anything red, and refractors Hates: Water Hobbies: Collecting red refractors. Dream: To have a happy family Bio Atla is a strange young girl. She was officially adopted by Artimus around four years ago and is a proficient digger who has been at the root of artimus’ recent good fortune. She has always looked up to Artimus as a mentor, and a father figure. It was her wish that she and her sister were adopted by Artimus, and after two years of living and working for Artimus aboard his airship, the Sky Clad, Artimus finally decided to adopt her and her sister, Leorina, which was about four years ago. She is a fairly good digger, though in her early days she was rather clumsy, enough so that she even managed to break a large refractor, get chased by a horde of zakobans for several days, and fall down an elevator shaft all in one dig. For those days she relied on her younger sister to protect her. Recently, she has been soloing digs and with Artimus’ special armor he made for her she is able to run through a dig in an hour or less. Her armor is a sort experimental all purpose armor. It focuses on offense, but still provides good defense. The armor compliments Atla’s fighting style which focuses on speed. The armor has a rather large battery attached to the back of the armor. The battery can keep the armor charged for about three or four hours and can be recharged with refractors. On her right arm piece is one of Artimus’ experimental busters which has a homing capability. On her left arm is a special machine gun attachment that has four barrels. It has an extremely high rate of fire, and with four barrels it can be devastating, but unfortunately overheats if used too much which can cause severe burns on the hand. The armor’s feet are specially designed to allow swift and easy movement. They hover, but only a few centimeters of the ground. Even so, this cushion of air allows Atla to move as if she were wearing roller-skates, except they are far more maneuverable. Her body is protected by the same nano technology that makes up Artimus’ special coat. Even with this, she still wears her old digger’s armor that Artimus adapted to work with her new armor. She wears the armor over the nano armor which provides a good level of protection, but makes the armor too heavy to use without the hover feet, so if the battery dies she usually has to either drag herself to the surface or try to recharge the battery. The armor also includes a helmet, but Atla tends to avoid using it. She also has a special laser type weapon that can be attached to her machine gun arm, but due to the thin size of the beam it is mainly used to force doors open or for extracting parts from dead reaverbots. Her other special weapon is a small dagger like attachment. It is meant for desperate situations during battles such as when her armor battery dies or when she runs out of ammo. Her armor has one major weakness, water. Although it is flame resistant, it will short-circuit if it comes in contact with water resulting in either an annoying tingle and numbness or a catastrophic explosion, and because of this Atla has developed an extreme fear of water. Most of Atla’s past is unknown. She claims that she and her sister had just been wandering around doing what they could to survive. Artimus found them during a dig. Atla had been badly wounded and Leorina had been knocked unconscious. They’ve followed Artimus ever since he saved them, and were adopted by him at the ages of fifteen (Atla) and fourteen (Leorina). Atla’s personality is rather strange. Around most people she is extremely serious, but around Artimus she acts like an immature child. She is unusually smart, but she hides this fact because she doesn’t want Artimus to know. When she isn’t on a dig she tries to help Artimus with his airship designs. The second Sky Clad was actually co-designed by Atla and is a very impressive ship. It is also known as Sky Clad Island due to its massive size. It’s around the size of a small island and much larger than the Sulpher-Bottom, but due to its size it can't move very fast and hasn't actually been flown yet (except for a few 15 minute test flights). This is why the Sulpher-Bottom is still the largest working ariship, but once they can get enough refractors to power the airship Artimus and Atla hope to make this airship as their own personal floating island. Atla’s most treasured possession is a small bracelet that she says belonged to her mother. The bracelet is what sped up Artimus’ research because it was made of an undiscovered alloy. It is light yet durable, shiny, and resistant to heat. He has found trace amounts of the metal in the ruins and in reaverbots. Atla suggested that they used what they had collected and build the special ship Bleucher had requested they build. Notes: Atla has an interesting origin story, but I’m running out of space, so you can’t hear it (and I doubt you even care). If you want to know what her armor looks like it looks something like the picture in the link below. I based it off that, but made several minor changes. Mine has full body armor, more weapons, a backpack where the big can like thing is and a battery beneath that, and she doesn’t have the tail like thing and a cat eared helmet. Also, my version has long hair and, most importantly, wears pants (the person in the picture is wearing stuff, but Atla is a much more modest kind of girl). pantransit.reptiles.org/images/2001-07-22/kou1_01.jpg

Well, this character's still a bit sketchy, but may turn up in a fanfic. . .
Adriana Everwinter
Species: Human Age: 17 Sex: Female Hair: Purple Eyes: Green Height: 6'1" Job: PIRATE, Arch-enemy Likes: Seeking Revenge, Plotting Revenge, Getting her way. Hates: Tron Bonne, Servbots Bio: The Everwinters were a family of pirates, much like the Bonnes. At some point the two pirate families clashed, whith the Bonnes coming out on top. The Bonnes raided the Everwinter home, stealing everything but the toilet paper. But Adriana's most fervent memory is of Tron Bonne taking her teddy bear, Koko! The rest of the family retired from being pirates, but not Adriana! She has sworn revenge on Tron, and won't quit until she's gotten it! She has been working freelance for other pirates, as well as going on digs to hone herself for her ultimate showdown with Tron, when she will prove that she is the ultimate female pirate! Oh, and get Koko back too.
It goes without saying that Adriana's a bit nuts, doesn't it?

Heh, cool. Looks like this thread had a bigger turnout than I expected.
Look, I know that it's been about a week or so since this was posted on.... so yeah. But I really don't care much about time, because I'm just like that. And I'm an incurable showoff. :D
And don't be mean to me.... I didn't know everyone hated assassins when I created her.... D: Please don't flame; be constructive.... ;o;
Now for my 2nd character:
Name: Alto ((in the context of a music-related word, yo.)) Age: appears to be around 25 or 26 Gender: female eye color: yellow hair color: grayish-black
Heh, where to begin here....
Alto was one of the two purifiers that Cerberus helped, and both of them got banished. The third, who was like, Alto's boyfriend/lover kinda person, was killed instead of captured. Seeing him die kinda screwed up Alto's mind permanently....
On Terra, Alto became an assasin, because, being a purifier, she didn't know how to do anything but kill. She also hunts down other purifiers, because her ultimate plan is to kill all pieces of the system, and then finally kill herself. The problem is, she can't kill Cerberus because she feels so guilty about getting him banished from Elysium.
Alto's fighting abilities are really pretty much average now, because she has a bit of a drinking problem.... the worse that gets, the weaker of a fighter she becomes....
So there's my 2nd character. Nyah nyah nyah to anyone who wants to hate on her. I dun care at all. #nosmileys

WOW, so much talent on one page! Well, my first character is one I've had for years and I'm gonna adapt him to Legends just like Gustaff Glyde did! Name: Brian Sholpie a.k.a. Glacial Wave Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 17 Hair Color: Dark blond Eye color: Gray, but look at my bio for more info Likes: Water, the color orange ( ), helping others Dislikes: Fire, lightning, arrogance Hometown: Kaiignis (Pronounced Ky [like the end of sky] -ig-niss) Island Bio/ Important Background Stuff: Kaiignis was a normal island. It had a moderate population and whatnot. But the key attraction was the gigantic ruins on the island. They were filled with hordes of treasures. Many a digger came to make it rich. Thousands of scientists studied the ruins in research facilities on the island. Kaiignis became a big tourist attraction. But then one day, a huge herd of gigantic reaverbots escaped from the ruins. All of the diggers, reasearchers, and tourists left immediately in their flying machines, leaving only the original people there, defensless. The reaverbots ravaged the island. They poisoned the water supply, making it eternally undrikable. Finally, with no provocation, they retreated back into the ruins, leaving the entire island in a dishevelled state. During all of this, a local young man named Brian Sholpie was studying to become a priest in the Master religion. This religion believed in a higher authority, whom they called the Master, that controlled everything. They also believed in helping others. Many of the priests were diggers who were sent to various ruins to help anyone along the way... and to bring back refractors for the Church! Anyways, Brian was greatly upset by this. On the night of the retreat of the Reaverbots, Brian was sitting on a rock on the shore of Kaiignis Island, looking at the sky. All of a sudden, a point of light caught his attention. It was a meteor! It landed in the water before him. He ran up to it and picked it up. It was a medium sized blue stone, no bigger then the palm of his hand. As soon as he picked it up, he heard a voice in his head that told him about the stone. He found out that this stone was created to allow the holder to both make and manipulate all forms of water. Brian thought that this was a gift from the Master and vowed to use his powers for good. He tested them out. He first made a tiny little wave in the water he was standing in was a mere flick of his hand. He then froze the rock he was sitting on with his ice power. He tried to make some steam, but he couldn't. Brian figured that this part must have fallen off during it's collision towards Terra. Then, a brainstorm hit him. He went to the river which was the source of all drinkable water on Kaiignis. It was poisoned, but Brian figured that with his new found powers, he could purify it. He focused all of his energy and dipped his hand in the contaminated water, stone in hand. The water returned to it's sparkling blue color. The water was finally safe to drink. Brian hid his powers. He decided to make a disguise to hide his identity. It consisted of a navy blue wet suit with a head attachment that covered everything on the head except for his mouth, hair and nose. Over each eye is a goggle that's attached to the suit. The suit also covered the rest of his body (including legs) except for his hands and feet. He still wanted to be a wandering priest, but he thought that he might get exposed, so he went on his own under the name Glacial Wave. Brief Overview of Powers: Glacial Wave has 4 modes: Standard, Dual, Water, and Ice. In Standard mode, Brian looks exactly like normal. He has minimal power over water and ice and can create little water and freeze very little. In Dual mode, Brians eyes change and his hair turns a light blue. His right eye's iris turns into a blue waterdrop and his left eye's iris turns into a white snowflake. He has medium control over water and ice and can make a lot of water and freeze a lot. In Water mode, Brian's irises are both waterdrops and his hair is dark blue. He has maximum power over water and very very few power over ice. Ice mode is just the opposite with white snowflake irises and maximum control over ice and few control over water. Glacial Wave is affected by the moon like the tides. On a full moon, he is the strongest and weakest on a new moon. Also, the color blue gives him power. If he eats blue food or drinks blue stuff, he gains more energy. Same goes for blue clothes. SORRY IT WAS SO LONG BUT THANKS FOR READING

Hey hey, my first post in a WHILE. This is a character I made up for the fic I'm writing, enjoy.
Name: Shawn Vysner Species: Human (carbon) Gender: Male Age: 16 Hair Color: Black Eye color: Blue Likes: Women, Helping others. Dislikes: Hurting people, his father Hometown: No actual hometown, was born aboard his ship, the Ostealgia. Bio/ Important Background Stuff: Shawn shares the name of his father, whom was a feared bounty hunter before he died. His mother died from illness when Shawn was still a baby, so he never knew his mother. At the age of 8, Shawn was introduced to his father's line of work when he was brought along for a job that involved killing a person for a bounty. After seeing that his father would kill another man simply for money he began to hate him. Finally, when he died, Shawn inherited all of his father's money but felt it wrong to use it because of how it was earned. He now sits on top of a large fortune that he refuses to spend unless it is for neccesary supplies for his ship, food, etc.
Shawn is obsessed with women, and will flirt with pretty much anything he sees. Although he has a strong sense of justice and will do what he feels is right, no matter what the effect may be on himself. He also has a good sense of humor and is a very sarcastic person, often making jokes in even the worst situations.
Shawn also inherited his father's equipment, and knows how to use it well. His arsenal includes a digging suit much like Megaman's. The major difference is the buster gun on the right arm which works more like an energy shotgun. It can release large amounts of energy in a powerful shot, but takes several seconds before it can fire again. The suit itself is a dark red with an orange trim. He also has a purple energy sword that he can use proficiently.
Shawn's life is a boring one, as he spends most of his time simply sitting aboard his ship wondering what to do next. But this all changes when a certain air pirate contacts him, thinking he's his father, causing him to get sucked into an adventure that will change his life forever...Yeah, I need to finish my effin' fan-fic. I can't really tell much about Shawn without ruining the story line for it.
Edit: Put down the wrong age and didn't say much about the suit...I suck at life =P
More edit: Yeah, I'm just adding more stuff here. I'm still working on developing this character as I write my fic...I also have another character, but I haven't thought of much about her yet so I'll wait to post her till I have more info.

I am hoping that the people here are better writers, that for sure, and don't worry, this person will be as good if not better than Hunter, though Hunter is FRICKIN SWEET. Maybe I should use him? Nah, too boring. I'm gonna make another character and plot that will make everyone's heads spin. ( Oh yes, it is possible for me to do that. Ready!? BeetlejuiceBeetlejuiceBeetlejuice!!!! No? darn)
