That's a good job. It must be hard drawing with a mouse. I tried that before it didn't come out too good. I like all the nice shading but his right arm is too big.

Rage(I refuse to refer to you as Master), he uses a tablet. It's basically a simulated sketchpad, you literally draw on it and the computer will draw the lines onscreen. Hardly a mouse, but from what Aim(or IS, I forget)'s told me it can be used as one.
His right arm doesn't appear to be too big, either, it looks as though it's just at the point where the hand would come out of the forearm, piece, which would be right about at the thighs as it should be.
I really like it. Nice black-and-whiteness about it. It lends itself well to the drawing style, in a way I don't think colors would. All the proportions are pretty well in place, as far as anime styled characters go, and there's that certain 2+D quality about it. Really nice. I really like it.
...god, is there anyone online who can't draw(apart from myself..)?

Not bad, I can't draw with a mouse for the life of me...
I can draw a little, but I'm more likely to scan my aw. How much do those tablets go for?

Yay! A new picture! I'm still getting use to my new tablet, so its kinda of bad. Oh, and the reason I called it a Gatz Impersonator is because I originally wanted to do Gatz, but it didn't look enough like him..XP i56.photobucket.com/albums/g182/Musashi999/GatzImpersonator.pngEDIT:Any where from 50- to umm...350? I think they get more expensive, but I'm not sure. Wacom is the best company if you want a tablet, I'm using a Wacom Graphire 4 tablet, which is pretty good, and its cheap compared to the more professional Wacom tablets(100vs299$). EDIT2: I joined the Interordi Oekaki boards, so if you want to pop by and look at some of them, you can. (I did one Oekaki, but it doesn't look that good so I'm not gonna bother posting it.) EDIT3: Here's a pic of the sprite I did.(the picture shows, doesn't it?) Sorry about no color again, I had to switch to my Dad's laptop because my Brother is using the computer with photoshop on it. i56.photobucket.com/albums/g182/Musashi999/InaSeaofBlood.png

Hey, good stuffs Musashi! I think the first pic is my favorite. You seem to have a style that looks really... er... natural, perhaps. Like, it's a style your own and you aren't really having to pick it up somewhere. Anyways, on the first pic in particular I think it's your attention to the actual details of the armor I like, but that it also carries over into a completely different style. The shading works well. The eyes don't seem to be aligned exactly right: the one on our left seems to be looking down, while the one on our right looks off in the distance. Anyways, nice job. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff. I saw you joined over at Interordi, looking forward to seeing some of your oekaki work there.

The second pic reminds me of The Joker, because of the laughing and the splattered blood on the wall. You have an interesting shading type technique thing that really works in black and white (Well, it should be called grey(s) and black. Very little white in there). That 's where your best pictures are, in that style, I mean.

Hmmmm...the costume in the second pic looks AWFULLY familiar... Nice stuff. I should probably invest in one of those "tablets" you speak of...I'd kill to be able to draw quickly and efficiently on a computer! *Also attempts to draw using a mouse*

Dude, I am loving the pink/green hair hue. The shading colour of the face is nice too. Some of your stuff's the best work I've seen done in Paint for a long time. Good job.

You know, I respect a person who can make good multicolored hair. So many people seem to ruin their thousands of Sonic characters by improperly doing it, that it's refreshing to see a good one. That jacket's awfully Swedish. Er. Sweet-ish. You know. The face has a cool look to it too.
Here's a quick oekaki tip, if you happen to be using Shi Painter Pro (or regular Shi Painter, I think)! It can really help to over your linework very particularly with the Eraser2 tool. It can make your linework look very neat. Or it helps me a bit, anyways.

Thanks AimMan! If you want to know how I made the multi colored hair, I made the base color, then I made a darker purplish color, then made two circles with the same base color, then selected the purplish color, put my opacity down(the brushe's opacity) and drew over the circle closest to the Purplish color, and then put the opacity further down, and colored in the other circle.
That way I'll have a multi-colored gradiation pallete, that I can used ^^. Oh and I'll use the tip you gave me.
