Not bad. I was actually hoping to see the crossbow design, but you work with what you get.
I like the way you’ve done the head on this one. In your drawing of Ruth, there were a lot of stray lines all over the face that made her look rather wrinkly. This one is much cleaner. The hair also has a nice windswept look to it, somewhat reminiscent of Glyde, just to use someone from the series.
Overall, the design is nice, though more work could have been done on the suit. His left arm looks like it is bent at an odd angle because of the shading at the elbow, and the hand also seems to be a bit skewed because of that one line you have going across the palm. It makes it look as though the fingers are upside-down. Not enough perspective to the whole thing to make it look like his arm is bent outwards properly. The belt could use a bit of straightening or detailing as well. Lot of potential for superfluous detail in belts.
The coloring is good. Black and white is a classic scheme, and the shading on the hair is much sharper than in many of your other colored pictures. The soft coloring on the suit and tie gives the entire thing a nice fabric-like look, though the folds could have used a little more definition. The collars (both of them) seems to be a bit flashy for the somber character you’ve depicted in your writing, but I like it all the same.
I don't get it. o.o
Anyway, regarding the collaboration picture, we'd best get started planning if we want to get it done well. Given the pace of the RP, I'd say we have ample time to complete the picture before its end, but I think it prudent to begin early so that we have more opportunity to work out the smaller details at our convenience. Hopefully we'll get something professional-looking.
Someone should start a thread advertising it so that we can all officially organize exactly who will be helping and doing what. Or at least carry the whole ordeal with anyone who'd like to help over to private messages for the time being so as not to clutter your art thread with needless comments about it.
I’d help, by the way. I just realized that I’ve not said that flatly until now.
