Well, three talented artists we do have. Yeah, I know this thread is dedicated to those who own an account at dev art, but hopefully you won’t mind me popping in here to comment. If it is a problem, just PM me or something and I’ll take care of it. Heh, all this art kinda makes me wish I was able to draw… but alas, to even draw a good stick figure is beyond my abilities. Well, since I’m bored I decided to write some mini reviews of the three accounts.
Maverick Data: You certainly have an interesting style of art. It’s very cartoony, and that’s not bad. In this world we have many different kinds of art just like we have many different kinds of literature. Anyways, I like most of your work. Your MM picture, “Uh oh…” was nicely done. Yeah, I hated those bomb guys too… poor MM. I could tell you put a lot of work into your Samus picture, very nice. I also liked your “Me, Myself, and Not You...” pic. The fingers looked a little weird, but other than that it was well done, cartoon style and detailed. Your CG pic, “Henry Rabbit” was pretty good too. Too bad nobody seemed to notice. Oh well, as they say, “never give up and *insert inspirational comment here*” Hopefully you’ll become a cartoonist/animator like you wanted. As a fellow resident of the northern Carolinas, I support you, your art, and your ambitions. With time and practice you never know, you could become famous one day. That’d be strange… you’d be, “John Henderson, master of animation” and I’d be an old man living in a box thinking, “I used to know him… kinda… I think… who am I again?” Oh well, keep up the good work and hopefully you’ll get a little more respect from your Dev art peers.
Mandiga: Well, you’re a sort of legend around here for your work on MMLE. You don’t have too much in you’re gallery, but from what I can see your quite the 3D master artist. Your “Polished R9 Fighter” picture was just awesome. I have to wonder, how much time would you put into a detailed model like that? Your Roll models still make me think of a blonde version of Aerith/Aeris from FF7, but they’re good none the less. Ah, and of course there is the “sexy toilet car” from your “22XX Casket on the Beach” picture. There is nothing more romantic the sitting at the beach watching, and waiting for the sun fall below the sea, just you… you and your sexy toilet car. … yeah. Anyways, keep up the good work.
BlueRobotGirl: And the last artist on today’s lineup. I fear saying anything bad because I don’t want any forks being stabbed through me precious eyeballs. You certainly have the largest gallery, and it’s filled with a wide variety of styles. You even have a bit of writing, which wasn’t bad, not at all. It was short… but you know, I guess that’s why they call them short stories, no? It would probably have made more sense if I had read the Brigadoon Manga it was based on. I’ve never really been much of a manga person. You also seem to like to fool around with desktop wallpaper designs. Since there were a lot of pics, I’ll just list some of my favs. “My Guardian Angel” (poor guy. I could see him trudging through the snow, using his unharmed wing in futility to try and hold off the blizzard which was threatening to bury him and his dear Gaia alive, how he struggles to keep going, to protect Gaia with his very life.), “Sylphmon” (I like the way its done, very nice), “Cerberus” (Nice design, and yet another reaverbot that could kill me…), “Inferno.Exe with Color” (Another good one. I can see you dislike dev art… somehow I can’t blame you), “Reavernot with Extended Arms” (… you know, I bet that reaverbot could be a darn good break dancer… anyways, good. It might have looked better from the side, but oh well.), “Innocent Killer” (its weird when something can be cute and scary at the same time… still, good stuff.). I also noticed all the Haiku. I only read two of them, and from what I can tell, you’re good at them. I guess that’s to be expected though, being it you were taking a writing class… darn you multi-talented people. “Searching for a Voice” reminds me off… me. I’m a complete introvert in real life. I spend more time thinking/talking to myself than with anyone else in real life, but thanks to such miracles of science as AIM, even I can become somewhat social… somewhat. Considering how much I’ve said, you might not think so, but trust me, I’ve become a master of the “standing in the corner and becoming invisible” ability. Well, hope things go well for you and umm… *insert random friendly comment*.
… Well that was fun. Yeah, hopefully that wasn’t too long. I guess I’ll leave our artist trio to do better things… and hopefully nobody died while reading this post. Boredom can be deadly, you know. Oh well, now I’m just dragging this out, so happy hunting to all… or something like that. (I… need sleep… stayed up late…*falls asleep on keyboard*).

piyo.de.zavala.sheezyart.com/I do various fandoms and my fanart generally reeks of weird (with some mature things - handle with care). These are mostly general doodles with nothing finished. Whenever I get a Devart again, I'll put my finished, refined crap there. For now, Sheezyart is my hodgepodge account. Shake and serve.

Sorry for being away a bit here, makes me feel bad for not noticing this sooner. I really appreciate the critique you gave, seriously, It's not everyday I here something like this. It means a lot to me. You pretty much hit the nail on the head, I love the cartoony style. Probably why I hang around Andrew's board so often ^^;. I'm sort of upset on the fact that no one really found Henry, even with the "advanced critique please" posted on the front. But what can I say, I'll have to improve a bit and meet some more people there. Thanks a lot man!
