MMLEx's physics engine, newton, its getting to be a pain in the ass. Its objects will not go into the direction they are shot, but now it can destory objects.
Physics engine objects are officially disabled until further notice.

We need a creative person who can draw LAYOUTS (Like an overhead view of the ruins) and can think of enough complexities and things to put in the ruins like rooms that have multiple heights and such. Hopefully someone who can design a ruins that would match the legnth and complexities of the ruins from the actual game. This is something I can help with. I have been watching the MMLE site for some time, waiting for a Beta tester slot to open. Until then, I can do these maps for you. Just tell me what kind of reaverbots you want in the ruins and what difficulty level you want for each one, and I can draw it for you. I'm very good at those things. I can do either overhead or side view maps, your choice.

That would be great if you could draw ruins maps for MMLE. Just make a basic mid difficulty ruins that is about 3 floors deep, with some platforming and ect. That would really help and make it easier on me to make the ruins (And give me something to do, now that I am waiting for something to do)
When B11 comes out, I will give Beta testers a limit in time to get in contact with me in anyway as a confirmation there still on the project (If you are out of town or something where you can't get in contact with me, thats an exception). I'll probably be overly lenient, especially since some of the beta testers joined a long time ago.
UPDATE
We are Working hard on B11. Features to be included are
-A fully functional ruins -an updated walking engine -semi-functional physics -special portion* -reaverbot AI -Buster parts* -refractor shards* -Energy cubes* -A boss* -Treasure chests -joystick support
*May not appear in B11
We have MegaMan jumping, and even if buster parts are not included in the Beta, we assure you that they are working. Our jumping sucks, the Beta jumping will be all around crappy and an excuse to put in platforming.
If all goes well in B 11, a fixed up version will become a ruins demo.

Ok, I'm constructing the ruins map. Do you want a boss in it or no? Also, do you want me to mark the locations of Reaverbots, and what reaverbot's will be in the dungeon? I usually design places based on what the enemies in it are.

Okay, how about this, You can mark what places would be good for reaverbots on the map, then using common sense, We will place what reaverbots go there. There should be a boss room at the end of the ruin also. We will put what boss we see fit. Thank you for offering to do map designs out of the blue like this. UPDATE: Okay, now you're probably wondering "Where is Beta Build 11, they said it would be out about 7 times over the past month". Well, Our release schedule is more off than AT, which is saying a lot (No offence fab ) Basically, one thing led to another and one problem to another and one design flaw to another, basically, we don't know when its going to be out, and when we say a release date, don't hold us to it, only an idiot or a person just learning about MMLE would trust our estimated release dates. Basically, we aren't done yet, we have run into more problems, and now we find ourselves making an entirely new level. Jumping is the most flawed, followed by doors and treasure chests aren't even started yet. We haven't even got a Alpha build 11 (The code is beta, but the Build is an alpha, only 3 people are testing the alpha, and they know who they are, and 2 of them are obvious) Alphas will not be out for download on the site, since there is only one person we will be letting test it besides ourselves, we can distribute it ourselves. Other Problems with B 11, that may tranfer to beta Camera is messed up. Seems to zoom in while jumping MegaMan's arm looks like it goes through itself during certain animations. Doors instantly open up, No animation for some reason, probably be fixed before beta stages. Random Crashes Some problems with buster collision detection, Animations still suck, and trust me, I am going to start looking for an animator for our models, since a coder and an environment mapper are not good animators. Jumping itself is not that smooth, causing some problems when jumping from platform to platform. Frame rate problems and shader errors are possible on low end computers TGA files can have split errors (FIXED) ***Stuff that is actually working*** The door does open We can Jump The Main Menu does work Our cinamatic engine "should" work Zenny and Buster systems work Buster parts system works Health system works Our characters are animated none the less Configuration files work The game does run. ***Stuff we would like to work for Beta B 11*** A boss, though not likely to happen A how to fly the flutter tutorial, though not likely to happen Smooth Jumping Fully functional treasure chests Refractor triggered events Some text and display Main Menu (Very close to done) And more... All of these are just main points, some stuff I did not put for lack of wanting to spend my time putting everything, I put most of the Main Stuff in this post. EVEN MORE OMG THE POST IS NOT OVER MegaDave Volnutt has made some remixes for MMLE, I especially liked this one and hoped that you would comment if you liked this remix, if you think that it is better than just having the same old music in every area (Not saying some areas will have the original music) 69.14.52.172/djd-waterruin.mp3I myself liked it and hoped to use some of his remixes in MMLEx, just wondered if the community likes it as much as I did. I can't wait to listento it! As for my work I believe I solved the problem in a couple of cases and will fix it, yet another one comes. My e-mail won't allow it. I'm going to have to fix that. Good thing theres only 3 weeks of school. I'll have a bunch of time on my hands. ;D Well, sense Kalking is working on the ruins, maybe I should just stick to towns. I'm learning about a little war weapons right now, that could be useful in weapon design.

Ok, one last question on the ruins, which are almost completed. Since the ruins go far underground, can I put lava in the bottom floor, or would that be too much of a hassle for you guys? I am working on the final floor now, sorry it took so long, but I am only 14 and thus am at school as i make it, making it that much more difficult.

Actually, some of their early demonstrations featured some freaking awesome animated lava, so I wouldn't imagine it would be a hassle... A convenience, if anything. But I don't mean to speak for you guys.

Lava, any kind of flowing liquid we have figured out, so don't worry about any of that. Yes lava at the bottom floor is fine, thats actually a reason to show off our new effects and stuff.
Pretty simply, were just working on Build 11, which isn't turning out as good as I had hoped, but what isn't in B11 will probably end up in B 12 and the multiplayer build will be pushed back to 13.

Ok, MMLEx has advanced again.
The particle engine is now at version 3, at this point nearly anything is possible for particles.
The cinamatic engine is now at version 1.1, at this point cinamatics can have functioning effects, animations, and movements in any speed.
The movement engine made it to version 1.1, but i suppose it won't be until i finish/figure out v1.2 that it will have any good in it.
A how to fly the flutter tutorial is much more likely now. Of course, nobodies seen my drache screenshot...
and thats about all.

Now, as B 11 comes near completion, NMN finds a problem, so, what would you do, try to fix the problem, or say its impossible. NMN opted to say it was impossible and started on something else. Those of you who know what I mean (Basically this is a repeat of the Buster, Doors, Elevators, walking, collision, Engine, physics and more.) You know that NMN said all those were impossible at a point, and all of those work, now, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure he can fix the problem easily, but he is quitting because of this small collision error caused by his Algorithms. I say, that its fixed by tonight, but this will push the release another day or 2 back .

UPDATE-- Well the team that promissed me help for models has disbanded like a group of immature children, it's quite disapointing, what does this mean for MMLE? for starters it means they wasted my time by lying to me about helping out second I made a wicked MMZ and X for em and they decide to break up, what crap is that. so now I have fully textured (MMZ) Zero and (MMZ) X. Hope fully we could put those to use. I'm currently working on texturing trigger. JMC I can't get any e-mails to you, your box keeps rejecting them for some reason, please send me a copy of the story, just curiouse wondering if we could utilize some of these reasources that I made ok. Also any one that needs to contact me Please PM me or better yet MSN me, you'll have a better chance of getting me there. That kills my long abscence

Nothing can go perfect, and rarely does, and I'm pretty sure we can salvage something at least out of the stuff you made, at least not make them go to waste. I'll install MSN Messenger tomorrow. My email is working, I just tested it, No idea why you can't email me, Except for the fact that I disconnect from the internet for a few seconds every couple minutes (Actually, thats probably the problem) Sorry to hear about the bad news, but its nothing that we can't over come.
