Well, I too have seen enough of these type of things bite the dust before they get anywhere, but when I saw the Roll model (sounds funny that way LOL) in the most recent 10 posts, I had to come in here and take a closer look... Thus far, I'd have to say I'm impressed. 3D modelling is both extremely fun and horridly tedious at the same time. Already with these screens you are showing more actual substance than most big fan games and projects ever show. I greatly hope you continue this and don't let the project die or slow too greatly. Further info on the subject of copyrights... Nintendo recently went around to various Zelda fan sites and ordered them to cease their fan game productions. Technically if you're using a company's characters and name, they have every right to say no, even if you're not making money off of it. However, even if Capcom stumbles upon us here, there's no way they can stop you two from making it at your house, and secretly distributing it through PMs and stuff where no public eye can see.

Thank you very much fab ,this is our first project going outside our house. Anyway our roll model(which we also noticed sounded wierd)uses our first mapping method and low resolution. We just finished a servbot which uses a much better mapping and a higher resolution that looks much better , which we will be posting soon but my brothers sleeping and its on his computer. since we make the models and stuff and capcom says stop, we will just put a space in megaman or take out the y in yuna ect. we plan on having 2 versions of our game one with game music other with home brewed crappy music we make, If you own legends 1 and 2 then we can use the game music since you already technically own it. We now with our new mapping methods should be able to make a decent looking megaman trigger model. Storyboard A is also nearing completion but once again were going to put in a couple of different paths. You should seen our first roll model , when we started this (2 weeks ago)we just downloaded models never having much experience creating models so we knew it would be tough, but now we make models much more efficiently and they look better with the new mapping we made on the servbot. Now Beta testers If we do voice acting you may be able to do more than one voice but we want the voice to slightly resemble the one in the actual game if possible.

Megaman without buster or his head(yet) And a servbot(i can't wait to kick it!!! ;D) We recreated the megaman model with official art rather than the games visuals. notice how megaman has fingers and looks cool... These are the first character models we've ever made.

Modeling is very difficult and it helps when people point out problems. We now have data done but we'll post data and a couple other models together. Megaman's hair looks different , does anyone Know the base shape of megamans hair we are having lots of problems making it look right. We have scripts (code) right now that lets us walk around the incomplete Flutter.

Wow, this looks really good. How old are you guys? I'd be happy to do whatever, but I have dial-up internet and a mac, so i don't think I can help with the technical things, but I'd be happy to help with the story. If you have time, maybe you could e-mail me a general run through of the story. My e-mail is anthony1588@yahoo.com. I would REALLY like to do voices, but I don't know if I have the technology to Beta test and record. I could let my friend help me cause he has a really good computer.
Anyways, the models look awesome of Megaman and the Servbot! They look like the characters you can make in the Gamecube game "Amazing Island." Some comments: not to be a prude, but rolls shorts could be a little longer (lol, oxymoron) Also, she could use some more hair "spikes". I really like roll's eyes. That should be your base eye model. As for megaman, yeah, maybe his legs could be a little longer, but otherwise, AWESOME!!! The servbot is good too, but maybe the body could be a little skinnier and longer.
I'd like to know what other games you guys made as well. They sound fun!!!

Oh... sorry but macs won't run this engine yet. you won't be able to play the game unless it the creators of the engine codes cross platform for mac.
Voice Sample requirements: Recorder(internal, external/mic) Win98+
OR
Mac Sound Recording Software
How To: Step One
Make Sure Your Recorder Is Enabled On And Plugged In!
Win95-Win2000: Press Start > Program Files > Accecories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder
WinXP Press Start > All Programs > Accecories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder
On Any Win Version Press Start > Run Type %SystemRoot%\System32\sndrec32.exe in the box. Press enter.
On Mac: Startup your sound recorder
Step Two:
On Any Win Version: Press Edit > Audio Properties
Look Under "Sound Recording" Does This State Your Sound Card Name? If Your Microphone Is External(Not inside of the pc/mac) Click It. A list Will Appear. Click The Recording Device You Will Use(like "company + device name") And Press OK. The simplified voice recording and playing buttons should be easy to adapt to.
Step Three: Prepare
Speak Loud And Clear Atleast 2 Inches Or More Away From The Mic, And Press The Circle Like Button(Record of course!) Before you begin. When Finished, Press The Square(Stop) Button.
Usaully, theres a button in the file menu of the program that says save. if not(Possibly some mac programs) Look for a floppy disk icon or a button that says save. click the filename box and enter "C:/SoundSample" and the file saves in c.
Now send the file as an attachment in an email with a subject that says "Sound Recording for *character name* from *Forum name*" Send the message to JOHN_C@WOWWAY.COM
[glow=red,2,300]Tip[/glow] You can locate the file in C:\ Drive
Anlright. I TRIED to make it very simple. Send the message to JOHN_C@WOWWAY.COM
I will reply what to do later....(If accepted as a good or alright voice)

...I'd like to try out for a voice, but I doubt my voice is good enough.
...I might be able to do Data or a Servbot, though. I have a microphone, and that stuff, but since I've never heard myself doing either voice recorded on the computer, I don't know how I'd sound.
I'll try to help, though.
I'll beta. I've got high-speed Internet, so I think downloading it wouldn't be any problem.

We will be using high compression methods to compress it but it still may be Large size game But we may make stripped down if it is to big. We have all but finished the story lines well thats it. Besides Megaman head and hair still doesn't look right But it is getting closer
Since people are interested in voices her are the major parts not in there appearing order Megaman Volnutt/Trigger Roll Caskett Mistress Sera Mistress Yuna Barrel caskett (He has a small part but that may change) Tron Bonne
Tiesel Bonne (He talks a little smarter , and more down to earth yet still Tiesel (insults megaman)in my opinion) Data Megaman Juno (He is the coolest enemy and does return ) Younger Megaman(around age 8) younger Roll (Around age 8) younger barrel(6 years younger than legends 2) News People (No voice matching with game required) Townspeople in cinamatics(No voice matching required) Glyde (Small part) servbots Birdbots (very small part but we need voices during fights) Bon Bonne (Babu) That raps up MOST of the parts Note : I may add in bola and klaymore for a extra Boss battle

;D Wow...I don't know what to say...that looks REALLY good so far. I think you should have some kind of auditions for the voices and pick whichever ones you think sound the best...it makes me want to go dig up my old microphone and start practicing my MML impressions...
