We could always do what Keiji Dragon suggested and just bombard CoA with complaints. I don't know if it'll actually accomplish anything, but as I've said a thousand times before, it couldn't hurt to let them know we still care about them. The problem is, Capcom doesn't seem to care about US. (Looks at all of us.)

I think it's probably more than anything a test marketing. Remember how Mega Man Legends consistently won the fan polls as to which series would get a sequel. When X/Zero pairing fans weren't padding the ballot box, of course. If this sells well, they can gauge fan interest and whatnot.
I'd say better than nothing, but for those of us who speak English and have eight-year-old phones, it basically IS nothing. Still, I'm more happy than sad. I guess?

Sorry about the other thread(even had to make a whole new account...). For some reason when I scaned down the page the only thing I was searching for was "Dash and Cell Phones", either way I feel a fool.
I don't know how much of a revival of DASH this is. It may just be part of Capcom's blitz on the Cell Phone market. They're actually bringing Resident Evil 4 to phone. Amazing.

They're also bringing that Samurai Warriors rip-off and Breath of Fire 4. Seriously, whats with this whole surge of Cell Phone games?
Well, at least they made a DASH game. I mean, they could of just made a EXE or Starforce game instead.

Imagine if someone went to Japan and bought the game. Then, when they finished it, there'd be a screen that says "To be continued in Rockman DASH 3!" in Japanese. That would be so awesome...

Well, let's not jump the gun. Still, it does look to be something completely original and not just a remake of the old PSX levels or something, from all we know. The BOF 4 game would be interesting, but that was probably my least favorite of the series and I kind of hoped the villain would win. Also, they turned it to an action game, which seems totally off-kilter. After all, turn-based menu combat would fit better with a cell phone, which is very hard to play games on. Except the iPhone, of course, but we all know Apple is anti-game.

I thought that the BOF4 one was still turn-based . Anyways, I wonder how Megaman Legends would play on a phone. Wouldn't be kinda hard? EDIT: Found a pic of a NNT Docomo phone..

Do you think a lot of Japanese gamers would even have that sort of phone? It'd suck if the game did poorly simply because there weren't enough people who subscribed to the phone service.

Depends on how new the phone is, really. Does anyone know how long that phone's been for sale? Or if it's even out yet?

And I doubt that there will be a US or EU Version for the Game. Let's look on the "DARK" side of things! I am. At what I'm Looking? PM me and you'll get the Idea LOL. Still I'm pretty Disappointed.

So far, I know there are several types of hackers. iDASH5 is coming out for the japanese phone market. Does anyone here have a japanese phone? If so, can you send it to someone to figure out how to get files off it? How does a japanese phone work? How do phone games work? Is there any difference between Japanese phone games and US phone games? How Cell Phones WorkEDIT: Cool, post count is enabled now. EDIT2: Should we start a new forum for iDASH5 now? (Heh, for I second I confused you guys w/the Uplink Forums. I'm getting old, and I'm not even old enough to drive ) EDIT3: WIP: www.freewebs.com/betaidash/

Let's not jump the gun (again). What I'd really like is a way to emulate it. I can't speak-a the Japanese, but I'm sure we'd figure out a way to translate it, unless Keiji decides to port it to the 360 for America. That would really kind of put the ultimate icing on the cake, as far as I'm concerned.

Speaking of Graphics, I Like the idea that the game will be Old School with all of the same models used. Well... maybe with some reduced poly count, but still it's Old School! Let's see what happenes. We might still play the game.

Do you think a lot of Japanese gamers would even have that sort of phone? It'd suck if the game did poorly simply because there weren't enough people who subscribed to the phone service. Well, NTT is the leading phone provider in JP, but I'm not sure about that model. However, I thought I saw a more standard model NTT on the web somewhere. Not really, as it would more-than-likely mean us English-speaking people would never get the MML3. Also, I sorta think this is Legends 3, but I'm not exactly with Capcom of Japan. Semi-Off-Topic: On my site, there's a link to the new MML Search Engine. There's also that picture that's not on the official site now. Completely-On-Topic: What's this picture say: EDIT: NTT DoCoMo i-Mode emulator. Could this be just what we needed? I'm confused.
