overall i gotta ask two questions: If able, would you guys have Trigger own a reaverbot pet? if so, which Reaverbot? (be sure to detail it's uses as a pet too)
mine: yes, and namely a weakened Karunuma Bash, weakened in the sense of it's attackpower being greatly diminished, allowing for it's tamability, it'd also pose as in-field rapid transit but couldnt go into cities, however, in ruins, it'd be able to strike reavers less than it's size, but only those with a higher threat-meter to trigger then the basic reaverbots(like the faster ones who still hit hard or the shielded ones that attack often)
ultimately this is a for-fun thread and please, be creative

That's a pretty interesting concept, as it reminds of the malevolent viruses you could raise in Megaman Battle Network 3 (although I don't think reaverbots eat). I'd like the idea of taming a Firushudot and using it for underwater transportation; you'd have the speed of the Hydrojets in addition to full maneuverability. Something like Gorubeshu could be used for protective purposes as well, what with that shield it has. The idea of a reaverbot on a leash is pretty laughable, though.
They could also pull a Command Mission and allow you to send in your own reaverbots to ruins you've already cleared. This way they could acquire zenny and items that you couldn't normally find on your own, while you go off and fight pirates or something of that nature.

MMX:CM was the idea behind this tbh
but i always thought owning areaverbot ept would be cool, and not exactly leashed but it's attracted to Trigger for Trigger having done soemthing to save it or help it
in my karunuma's case, as it's weaker, tirgger simply helped it beat it's rival
and yeah i know the dash shoes are for rapid-transit, but i mean even faster than those when going in fast mode

(although I don't think reaverbots eat) What about Galgalfummi? It actually eat another reaverbots for healing. Lately i`ve been thinking for a long time about what reaverbots are exactly (Yeah, i don`t have nothing better to do...) And i think: if they eat (Galgalfummi), grow or evolve (Bal Kacche), some form nests (Jakko), feel pain (Giwan), and can have childs (Hippulbash), then they are living beings, so there`s a possibility they can think, or at least recognize a person which will have some kind of friendship, so they can be tamed. And, after my care-less explanation, i assume Megaman, or any other digger can have they`re own Reaverbot, even if it has total control of his powers or weapons. I think an Olfon would be a great choise, because they are like a wolf or dog, or little Norieibis or Firushdot. But if i were a digger i would not want a Poh! They`re scary

I think a pet reaverbot would be a great idea. It would probably fit in with the Caskets perfectly, and give them a more dynamic feel. I think a Foo-roo could be a good idea: he could go to retrieve refractors that are out of reach, or in dangerous areas. He doesn't particularly stand out from other reaverbots, so he wouldn't attract much unwanted attention. Maybe he could also scout ahead to check for danger/treasure if Roll's radar malfunctions. Plus, he has a built-in defence system!
But I think your idea for a Karunuma Bash works much better. Somehow, I feel they would fit any digger very well! They seem like they'd make the job so much easier and funner...

I think the touch and it blows up element of it would be a bad thing.
Roll: "Oh that's a good fooroo! Come here fooeyrooey! *pets* *BOOM* Roll: "....MY EYEBROWS!"
Seriously though. Reaverbots are built for killing stuff. They all have spikes, bombs, blades, and guns. Not to mention a serious tendancy to kill things. How exactly would one domesticate such a thing? You approach a shak and it takes your head off. In the games they don't exactly show much in the way of intelligence. They just kill and then, well, that's pretty much it, just the killing. Reaverbots aren't animals, they are machines. It would take reprogramming. And if a reaverbot can be reprogrammed, what in the legends universe can't?

I think the idea of Roll reprogramming a reaver is entirely plausible. As mentioned earlier, it's been done in Command Mission; you find a worn-down Mechaniloid, repair it, reprogram it, and have it work for you. Also, given the various artifacts found in the museum in MML1, I'd venture to say that reaverbots have their own way of living, even if it's more primitive than ours' is (look at the Old Doll, for example).
That said, I do agree that there are some reavers that just wouldn't work like that, like the aforementioned Foo-Roo. Miitan's even worse; do you really want those cold, soulless eyes watching you while you sleep? Why that's even creepier than the Tails Doll nonsense!
I forgot about Galgalfummi completely. This does sort of expand upon the idea of reaverbots being somewhat sentient, although some of these features have been seen as early as the Classic series' enemies, so it depends on how you look at it.

It's an interesting idea.
I just hope that we don't get 'extremists' like PETR (People for the Ethical Treatment of Reavereds) coming up soon (though it may open up ideas like 'no kill missions').

@buster Cannon What is after reprogramming a miitan, it had a smile rather than the frown.
