I've already got it all worked out. Let's see if they've got it as correct as I do. Probably not, though.

What's your theory aarond? Mine is, Bon Bonne is actually the illegitimate child of Mistress Bonne and Sparky, the guardian dog reaverbot of the Bonne Family Estate.

I've got my own worked out too. It'd be hilarious if all of us were thinking the same thing.

I have my own ideas as well, but apparently they're planning a big shocker. So I'm betting I'll be surprised.
Although, I think this information is from like ten years ago so they may go a completely different direction.

When it comes to Bon, fan opinion is basically divided over whether he's a kid piloting a mech suit, or a robot that Tron and Teisel treat as their biological sibling. If it's either of those things, it can't be much of a shocker. There are other lines of thought though. Just how unusual can it be?

I'd thought of it as some kind of a mobility aid or life support device--he's a real baby, but he benefits more from living inside the mech than from spending time outside of it. The Bonne family needs a little bit of drama to balance out their zaniness, after all.

The androids of the System are able to transfer their consciousness from one body to another. It's possible that carbons are capable of undergoing the same process with outside help. If so, it opens up some very interesting alternative explanations...

Maybe Bon was found in a ruin somewhere, like how Barrel discovered MegaMan. :26:

The Bonne family needs a little bit of drama to balance out their zaniness, after all. That's pretty much what I've thought for a while. Like he was a baby at one point but to save his life they had to transfer his consciousness into a robot...or something to that effect.

I never got so far as to seriously thinking why Bon was in the mech, but I've always just thought he was a baby/child, and must be in there for some reason. Reading other theories is always interesting, but I wonder how shocking the actual reveal of his past will be.
From that article, I think I'm more excited about seeing what Mega Man originally looked like. I've always wanted to know!! :01:

Bon says only “Babuu,” but Tron can seem to understand him; maybe he's her Data. :32:

Teisel understands him as well, don't forget, and I'm pretty sure the Servbots do too.
